'This Boy'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2crafty inspiration with you.
I have a layout featuring my son as a baby.

'This BOY'

 2Crafty products:

 'Lattice Leaves'
'This Boy title'
'Whispy Dandelions'
'Foliage Set 13'
'Bush Nut Stems'

I have started with some mixed media for my background page.
I built up my paper layers and then tucked in
 one of the 'Whispy Dandelions'
that I finished with white embossing powder.

I also tucked in one of the branches from 'Foliage Set 13',
also finished with white embossing powder.

I also used one of the 'Lattice Leaves',
which I finished in pale blue to match my papers,
and tucked into the top corner.

On the right side of my page I used another of the
 branches from 'Foliage Set 13'
also embossed in white.

I also used two of the 'Bush Nut Stems',
also finished in pale blue to match my colour scheme.

To finish, I have used another of the
'Lattice Leaves' in pale blue,
and the 'This Boy title',
that I also embossed white.

I hope that you like what I have created.
I will be back soon with some more scrappy inspiration for you.

Until then

Lisa

Perfect as you are
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout I made featuring the daughter of one of my besties.
Spring is in full bloom here and I find that the picture captured the warmth and joy that
we feel when we awaken from our long winter slumber.

"Perfect as you are"

I cut some parts of the "Leafy Shrub Set 1" to make it blend with the "Esther Vine". Then, on both, I applied two coats of honey ink and inked the borders in black.

For the "Chunky Dandelion" and "Whispy Dandelions", I used one coat of metallic red paint and inked the borders in black. For the title, "Perfect as you are", I applied some black-bronze embossing enamel.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

Esther Vine [M00497]
Leafy Shrub Set 1 [M00493]
Chunky dandelions [M00853]
Whispy dandelions [M00705]
Perfect as you are [W00589]

That's all for me today! I hope you enjoyed my creation and that it'll inspire you. I'll be back in a few weeks with more ideas to share with you! See you soon!

Grateful

By Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2crafty fans,

I hope you are all safe and doing well in these crazy times. Here in Quebec we're in the midst of a second quarantine, with a lot of our normal activities being shut down. However, I'm grateful to be safe and to have my husband and kids around me so we can help each other keep our spirits up.
This was the inspiration for the layout I am revealing today.

"Grateful"

For the "Fine & Fancy butterflies", I used my fingers to apply a green-gold shimmering wax.
On the "Mini Flourish Bits", I applied ivory embossing enamel.

On the "Whispy Dandelions", I used gray embossing ink and dabbed some bright yellow
 embossing ink on top.

For the "Frame Handdrawn Hearts", I applied 2 coats of bright yellow embossing ink.

For the title, "Grateful Script", I used two coats of black embossing powder.

In this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

Whispy Dandelions [M00705]
Mini Flourish bits [MB006]
Fine and Fancy Butterfly set [M00794]
Frame Handrawn Hearts [FR0082]
Grateful [W00510]

I hope you enjoyed this layout and that it gave you ideas for your own creations!
I'll be back in a few weeks with more inspiration to share with you.
Happy crafting and see you soon!

August Inspiration PLUS a VIDEO
by Kareen Dion

Hello!
It's my turn to show you my two layouts this month.

So, as it's summer in Canada, I wanted to do a layout that represents Summer.
I took a picture of our Summer vacation in 2014 : the Beach. Love the beach, and we
are going to the beach again for our vacation : yeah!

As you can see, I used a lot of chipboard, I used the Harlequin Clumps for my background.
I embossed them in a brown shade to contrast with the rest of the layout. I also used the Skeleton leaves to add a little extra to the flowers and the Scroll 3 below my picture to highlight the title.

"Day at the Beach"

Here you can see the title Day at the Beach, embossing with blue powder.

I also used the Frame Georgian to highlight my layout,
I love frames, they are so easy to use.

Another close-up to the Frame Georgian, I used both of them.

I really like the color combo brown/blue for an ocean layout!
I'm not used to those colors, but I really enjoyed it.

2Crafty products used :
- Harlequin Clumps
- Skeleton leaves
- Scroll 3
- Title Day at the Beach
- Frame Georgian

For my second layout, I made a video tutorial.
I took a picture of my daughter which inspired me like she was dreaming.
That's why I chose the title "Dream a Little Dream"
To add a little punch to my page, I used the Interlocking Stick Panel which was
black embossed. As it's a feminine layout, I add the Whispy Dandelion. And of course,
I added some Skeleton Leaves.

"Dream a Little Dream"

Here for my title, Dream a Little Dream, I put a layer of white gesso and then I used
embossing powder. I like to put white gesso first as I found that we have a clean color
 then with the embossing powder.

A little close-up on the Skeleton Leaves used with white embossing powder.

The Whispy Dandelions were stamped with black gesso to create a shadow.
Then I embossed them with light pink.

The Interlocking Stick Panel is black embossed with glitters.

Hello 2Crafty Fans!
Today I have a few projects to share with you all. I hope you like them.

"The Eyes Are The Window To The Soul"

Some close ups-

I cut my The Eyes title chippie into a few pieces and arranged them like so.
All the chippies have been coated with gesso and then I used watercolors to add color to them.
I also added some mini art stones to the Whispy dandelion chippies to add some texture.

2Crafty Chipboards used-
The Eyes Title
Tiny Feathers
Beaded Hanging hearts
Whispy Dandelions

"Dream Big"

My next project is this layout with the title Dream Big.

Some close ups-

I covered the Dream Big title chippie in gesso and then used
chalk edgers to give the ombre effect to it.

The Flower doilies chippies are just awesome to add depth and texture in your layers.
I love using them behind my photos.
I framed the cluster using the 6"Circle revolution frame chippie.

November Inspiration by Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty Chipboard friends, it's Lisa here to share my projects for November.

'Today & Everyday'

Imagine my delight when one of the newest pieces of 2 Crafty Chipboard is another pretty
version of a dandelion, I love them! I always love the title pieces too, this one is perfect.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
'Whispy Dandelions'
'Today & Everyday'
'Lavender Shrub'
'ATC Words'

Except for the ATC piece 'Dream' at the top of my page that I painted black,
I treated all my chippies the same way with white acrylic paint to make them
stand out against my background.

My second project is a page in my art journal.

'Follow Your Instinct'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
'Frames Tiny Henri's'
'Viney Page Frame'
'Marianne's Butterflies'

I cut up a piece of the 'Viney Page Frame' and painted it in some 13 arts paint,
and then I used some Prima acrylic paint in gold to paint my 'Tiny Henri's Frame'
and one of the 'Marianne's Butterflies', love how it turned out.

Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Lisa xo
