Crazy About You by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Today I would also like to reveal the layout I made as a guest designer for the
CSI Case File No.273 to celebrate Valentine's Day.

The real challenge for me was to give a modern twist to Valentine's Day.

"Crazy About You"

Here are the guidelines that were proposed for the challenge. You can also participate and
try to solve this case too! Try to find inspiration in background details like feathers,
 frames, or flowers. Chipboards are perfect for this, where they can add amazing
touches to your creations and allow your pictures to really stand out.

I left the "Frame Flourish 2" to its natural chipboard color. On the "Pretty Dandelions", 

I used 2 layers of teal embossing powder to give it more depth.

On the "Tiny feathers", I applied blue-gold irridescent paint 

and inked the border with black ink.

I applied an aged rose embossing enamel on the title, "Crazy About You".

My first layout featuring my gorgeous girl.

'Timeless Beauty'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

Brick Panel

Thistle shrub

Indian feathers

Tiny feathers

Timeless Beauty title

Inspired by my girls dress, I went with the soft pastel colours, 

I have heat embossed both Timeless Beauty title with a pale pink and Thistle shrub a teal......

I have left the Brick Panel raw & cut it in half and placed half at the top and other
half at the bottom of the photo, just to  bring a little more attention to the photo.....

I have used a couple of the Indian feathers & Tiny feathers.....

 First applying white gesso to the both Indian feathers & Tiny feathers, then
 inking them ever so lightly with purple or pink...

 I scattered them thoughout my page to finish it off nicely... 😊

With such strong colours I still wanted the chipboard pieces to stand out, 

so I have added couple of coats of white gesso to #mini word JOY.

I did the same to the  Funky Heart swirls,  Leafy Corner & 2017

The Lacy border strip I have inked with black & the tiny word YOU sitting on
 the photo, has been heat embossed with a Navy Blue....

April Inspiration projects by Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty fans! 

Hope you all are doing great.. Well, I want to share something with you all. Today is my last post here. I have had the most amazing two years with the fabulous team at 2Crafty chippies. I really hope you liked all my the layouts and tutorials I made for 2Crafty. I hope you will continue to remain in touch with me on my social media accounts. 

So, today I have a few layouts to share with you all. Hope you like them 

"Happiness"

Some close ups-

The Pointed doily frame chipboard is so so gorgeous! I covered this chipboard in white paint and then lightly added some teal watercolor to it and lightly stamped on it using black archival ink. It adds so much beauty to this page here.

 I  also used the Tahnya's border chippie and painted it in white and teal. I added some texture to it using art stones.

The Line words are one of my favourite chippies. You should get them all! They look just fabulous running across the page and they go along with all styles of scrapbooking.

My next layout is this  page titled 

" Dream"

I made this page as my GD Post for More Than Words Challenge. The theme this month was black white+ 1 and "Dream"

Some close ups-

The Geo Panel chipboard  has been covered in black gesso and I splattered some teal and white on it.

 I also used a negative from the Handdrawn heart chipboard and Tiny feathers chipboard here. I covered these in black gesso and once they were dry I stamped on them using teal acrylic paint.

November Inspiration Projects with Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty Fans!
Today I have a few projects to share with you all. I hope you like them.

"The Eyes Are The Window To The Soul"

Some close ups-

I cut my The Eyes title chippie into a few pieces and arranged them like so.
 All the chippies have been coated with gesso and then I used watercolors to add color to them.
I also added some mini art stones to the Whispy dandelion chippies to add some texture.

"Dream Big"

My next project is this layout with the title Dream Big.

Some close ups-

I covered the Dream Big title chippie in gesso and then used
chalk edgers to give the ombre effect to it.

The Flower doilies chippies are just awesome to add depth and texture in your layers.
 I love using them behind my photos.
 I framed the cluster using the 6"Circle revolution frame chippie.

One more project I made the last month.

I applied some adhesive on the chippies here and once it was
 semi dry I covered it with Foils and ran through my bigshot.

Jaya here today and I have a few projects to share with you all using the gorgeous 2Crafty chippies. I hope you all had a look at the new chippie designs in the store now.   If you haven't still then be sure to check out soon. 
"Cherish"

   

The title and squiggly hearts cluster is covered in white heavy gesso .

I applied white gesso to the tiny feather chippies and then stamped on them using black archival ink.
 I applied some Prima oil pastel on it and then outlined the chippie pieces.

Here is my second page
"Beautiful"

I covered the Madeline flourish frame in white heavy gesso. I just love that its so delicate and gorgeous!   The Beautiful loopy font is covered in black texture spray and then splatteredwith white gesso.

 I covered the brick wall panel in white heavy gesso and when it was dry I highlighted it with  Prima oil pastels.
