Loving These Moments by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for July.  I have created a layout.

"Loving These Moments"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*6" Parisian Border
*Circle Dot Frames
*Funky Heart Swirls
*Loving these Moments
*2023's

I have used the stunning Celebr8 Starry Night Collection to create the base for my layout.  I fussy cut the gorgeous wreath for the focal point of the background page.

I coloured the Funky Hearts Swirls & Parisian Border chippies with Dylusions Black Marble Shimmer Spray.  The Circle Dot Frame, 2023 and Loving These Moments Title chippies were all coloured with Heidi Swapp Blush Color Shine Spray.

Once I added my photo,  I added lots of paper blooms to the top and bottom of my photo.  I cut the Parisian Border in half and tucked a piece in each side of the flower clusters along the bottom of my photo.  I also cut the Circle Dot Frame in half and tucked a half in the top flower cluster and one in the bottom flower cluster.  I tucked the Funky Heart Swirls in amongst the bottom flower clusters and finished of my page by adding the "Loving These Moments" title and 2023 chippies to my page.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

'Hold Tight' by Emma Zappone

Hello Everyone 😊

Hope you are all having a great day.

Today's share is another 9x9 layout creation, featuring soft muted tones,
to finish the winter season off.

Here are the awesome chipboard pieces used....

Framed Botanical
Funky Heart Swirl
Daisy Flowers

Keeping the finishes simple yet effective, I started by prepping them all with white Gesso.

The Funky Swirls got a coat of Distress Glaze, one in each colour.

I love the shine the glaze gives the chippy.

The Daisy Flowers have a similar finish to the swirls. Except with these I added a stencil and some modelling paste to add texture before adding the glaze.

The Botanical Frame is just gorgeous!
I painted this with a matching acrylic paint and left it with a matte finish.
I then cut it in half to fit around my composition.

The chipboard pieces work so well with this colour tone and design.

I hope you have been inspired to create something different, or use a different medium.

I look forward to sharing with you in the new month.

Till next time, Stay Crafty, Em xx

"Sweet" Altered Wooden Star by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share my second project for October.
I have created a Beyond the Page project by altering a Wooden Star.

"Sweet"

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Funky Heart Swirls
*Window Shutter Set 3
*Parisian Border
*6" Wrought Iron Border
*Word Circles Set 1

I have used the gorgeous Mintay Nightfall Collection to create this project.  Once I chose the
paper for the background on the star I set about decorating.

I painted the Funky Heart Swirls and Window Shutter Set 3 Chipboard with Brush n' Leaf
Interior Silver Paint. The Sweet Round and the Parisian & Wrought Iron Borders Chipboard
have been sprayed with Black Marble Dylusions Shimmer Spray.

I first added the Parisian & Wrought Iron Borders down the centre of the star,  added paper
layers over them so they would show at each end, then added the Window Shutter.
Once happy I added a photo.  I added the Sweet Round Chipboard title to the top right
of the photo.   I embellished the star with flowers and fussy cut elements and to finish I
tucked in the Funky Heart Swirls amongst the flowers.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my little Beyond the Page project.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

April Layouts Created by Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you sharing some more April Inspiration....
My first layout featuring my gorgeous girl.

'Timeless Beauty'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
Brick Panel
Thistle shrub
Indian feathers
Tiny feathers
Timeless Beauty title

Inspired by my girls dress, I went with the soft pastel colours,
I have heat embossed both Timeless Beauty title with a pale pink and Thistle shrub a teal......

I have left the Brick Panel raw & cut it in half and placed half at the top and other
half at the bottom of the photo, just to  bring a little more attention to the photo.....

I have used a couple of the Indian feathers & Tiny feathers.....
First applying white gesso to the both Indian feathers & Tiny feathers, then
inking them ever so lightly with purple or pink...

I scattered them thoughout my page to finish it off nicely... 😊

**********

For my second page
A photo of ME & my young man.....

#Joy

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
2017
Funky Heart swirls
Lacy border
 Leafy Corner
#Mini word set 2
YOU word from Card Set 2

With such strong colours I still wanted the chipboard pieces to stand out,
so I have added couple of coats of white gesso to #mini word JOY.

I did the same to the  Funky Heart swirls,  Leafy Corner & 2017

The Lacy border strip I have inked with black & the tiny word YOU sitting on
the photo, has been heat embossed with a Navy Blue....

That's it for me this month....
Thanks for stopping by...... I hope you liked what you see and where inspired in someway....
till next time

May Inspiration by Noura Pompilla

Hello 2crafty friends!!

Noura here today to show you my first projects as part of 2Crafty Design Team.
I'm excited and this month I've prepared a layout and a canvas,
so let me present my first project.

"Love my Mum"

Some close ups...

"Funky heart Swirls "and "Circle heart frames" chipboards. They are absoloutely
gorgeous I love the way they combine perfectly for the topic of my page.I covered them
both with a layer of gesso so that it would stand out over the background color.

For the decoration I added "Addy's Butterflies" which I covered
with black gesso and I stuck a half of a pearl on it.

And finally I added the words that fit perfectly for the layout "Love my Mum" title
which I also painted with black gesso & I used a silver glitter on half of it.

My layout is inspired by More than Words challenge.

"Create Art"-Canvas

Some Close ups...

For my second project I created a reverse canvas in a steampunk style. For the base of
the background I used the "Checkerd board clumps" and "Squeare collage panel",
they mix awesomely for what I wanted to achieve.

Then I started to create my little Frankestein and I decorated him with one of the
"Clock face Frames" and "Angel wings". This is so pretty both of them were
covered with black gesso and I gave a little touch of silver wax.

In the corners are a mix of "Steampunk gears small" ,
"Steampunk gears medium" and "Assorted arrows".

To conclude, I used "Everyday font L/C" to form the word ART and I added
texture with mini art stones and silver wax.

I´m  participating in the Mixed Media World May Challenges.
This is their beautiful moodboard.
