Togetherness my favourite time

Let's start with the Thin Rectangle stack, I just love these frames...

 I have inked the largest frame with black and as you can see

it frames my selfie family pic taken in 2017, perfectly....

Next up is the Title Togetherness my favourite time

and inpsired the colours in the background paper 

I have inked this title with a teal, Pink & pale blue.. 

oh and the papers are Uniquely Creative - Steampunk Graffiti..

Lastly  from the Fine Month Set - Janurary 

I have simply Inked it black & 

added a thick coat of gesso too the year 2017

Let's start with the gorgeous Dana's Ornate Rectangle frame

Where I have given this frame to coats of gesso, I just love how it frames this photo beautifully...

Also! given two coats of gesso to the yr 2017....

Next up is the beautiful Large Tribe Arrow & one of my all time fave chipboard pieces

Simply inking this with a dusty pink... 

Then we have the super cute ATC - Butterflies & for my title using the ATC - Mini Title set 3

All of these pieces have been inked with a pale pastel pink...

Be your own kind of Beautiful (title)

Let's start with the two types of leaves I have used amoungtst my flower clusters..

First up is the Autumn leaves where I gave the leaves a very light coat of gesso, 

then painted gesso on the tips of the Autumn leaves

Then I have some of the foilage from set 11 inking these with a lovely green 

and cutting into smaller pieces...

The 2017 have been given two thick coats of gessso

Lastly for my title...

Inking the Be your own kind of Beautiful with this gorgeous pink 

using Tim Holtz - Distress Oxide - Victorian Velvet...

2017 Love layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello Everyone!

Rach with you sharing another bit of 2 Crafty Chipboard inspiration...

This layout features a photo of myself & my hubstar..

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

Old World Key/Lock set

12" Fine Floral Love frame

2017

Steampunk Arrow Set 2

3 out of 4 chipboard pieces are from the newly released and

I've kept it relatively simple by applying a coat of gesso on all of my pieces..

I then inked this gorgeous 12" Fine Floral Love frame with a pale blue to 

everything on this frame except the word Love...

With the 2017 I inked over the gesso with a med blue..

Once I had adhered to the 12" Fine Floral Love frame 
I then adhered the gessoed arrow from Steampunk Arrow Set 2 and 

the beautiful and Delicate heart locket from Old World Ky/Lock set

I'm really happy with how this page turned out!

Hello 2 Crafty fans!

Rach with you today! sharing this fun bright with a hint of grunge layout, my first creation for September...

 When receiving the newly August 2018 Mini released Chipboard title ♥ my Niece...

 I was instantly inspired & knew straight away what photo I wanted to scrapbook....

ATC - branches

Starting with ♥ my Niece title I gave it a coat of gesso, once it dried then inked the ♥ with teal & the words my niece with a fuchsia pink...

Another gorgeous August 2018 release chipboard piece I used was 'Memories' from the Fine word set 3..  I wanted the fine word Memories sitting on the ♥ to stand out a little more AND what better way than using black...

To bring some focus back to the B & W photo, I decided to use a leftover/ negative circle chipboard piece from the 6" Circle revolution frame... First giving it a couple of coats of gesso, once dried inking with a pastel Apricot colour...

The Brooke's chipboard swirl I've used first cut into 3 smaller pieces inked with a fuchsia pink & just wasn't loving it, SO I add a few coats of gesso hence why the swirls have a some pink tones... which I was really happy with!  While the ATC- Branches have a a couple of coats of gesso! 

Here to the right side of photo is a (March 2018 release) Tangled lamp post also coated with gesso.. 

AND this 2017 chippy piece has been inked with black....

Hello 2 Crafty fans!

Rach with you sharing some more April Inspiration....

My first layout featuring my gorgeous girl.

'Timeless Beauty'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

Brick Panel

Thistle shrub

Indian feathers

Tiny feathers

Timeless Beauty title

Inspired by my girls dress, I went with the soft pastel colours, 

I have heat embossed both Timeless Beauty title with a pale pink and Thistle shrub a teal......

I have left the Brick Panel raw & cut it in half and placed half at the top and other
half at the bottom of the photo, just to  bring a little more attention to the photo.....

I have used a couple of the Indian feathers & Tiny feathers.....

 First applying white gesso to the both Indian feathers & Tiny feathers, then
 inking them ever so lightly with purple or pink...

 I scattered them thoughout my page to finish it off nicely... 😊

With such strong colours I still wanted the chipboard pieces to stand out, 

so I have added couple of coats of white gesso to #mini word JOY.

I did the same to the  Funky Heart swirls,  Leafy Corner & 2017

The Lacy border strip I have inked with black & the tiny word YOU sitting on
 the photo, has been heat embossed with a Navy Blue....

Hi 2 Crafty fans!

It's Rach with you today, sharing my layouts for February.....

My first page featuring my boy! 😀

"Live your Adventure"

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

Chained Circle Frames

Live your Adventure title

Steampunk gears Medium

For the Title 'Live your Adventure' I wanted it to stand out sitting on the B& W photo....

so I went with giving it a couple of coats of gesso...... Also I added gesso to the to the

 Chain circle frame, then inked with Tim Holtz -Distress Squeezed Lemonade (yellow) ....... 

Did the same to the Giant gear & couple of the Steampunk gears....

While other Steampunk gears have been inked with a Teal & black....

The Triangle Clusters also have been inked black....

  As I didn't want to lose any of that gorgeous delicate details to the wing, 

I ever so lightly rubbed over with gesso, then using a paint brush, painted on a thinker
coat gesso on the edges....

Leafty Silhouettes

I wanted to create a uniqueness to this fantastic Let your LIGHTSHINE title....

  So I started with a paint brush and I painted on a couple of coats of gesso to the
 'Let your'  and heat embossing the bottom half of LIGHTSHINE with
Nuvo - Glittering gold....

 I was VERY happy with the end result! 😀😀😀

Also! heat emboss with Nuvo - Glittering gold this gorgeous Twinkling Fairy ...

Continuing on with heat embossing..... 

AND with Nuvo - Blue Odyssey these super cute Indian Feathers .

 

Also thoughout my layout I have adding a few beautiful
Leafty Silhouettes which I have added gesso to....

& this 2017...
.
