'Captured'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share a layout with you.

'Captured'

2Crafty products used:

'Brick Panel'
'Clock Face Discs'
'Filmstrips Small'
'Captured Phrase Set'

For this layout, I have used one of the
'Clock Face Discs'
that I have embossed in white,
and tucked under the corner of my photo with some florals.

I also used a couple of the 'Film Strips Small'
that I finished in green and aqua colours to match my papers.
I then tucked them under my photo.

I used the 'Captured Phrase Set' for my title,
I left it raw as I felt it matched the
warmth of the jetty wood in my photo.

I also used the 'Brick Panel'
which I have cut into pieces.
I finished them in black and used them,
tucked in and around my layout.

I really love how this layout turned out,
these are some of my favourite memories.
I hope that you like it too!

Until next time,

Lisa

Enjoy The Journey - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!

Back today to share a layout I created of our oldest sons purchase of a 1977 Corvette.

2Crafty Products used:

Mini Chunky bits
Grungy Splatter Bits
Harlequin clumps
Brick Panel
Frame Chained Circle
Enjoy The Journey
Mini Numbers Panel
Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster

I always begin by prepping my chipboard with gesso - either clear or white

I then begin spraying different shades of grey and bit of black mists to create the effect I wanted.

I inked the pieces with black ink on the outside so when I layered all the pieces there was
still definition of each piece.

I had added some red tickets from my stash to coordinate with the cars red interior and wanted
the title to stand out a bit so I inked it with lumberjack plaid ink and embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by

Back to School Fun
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all.
It's Lisa here today to share some fun
'back to school' inspiration with you.

I have used one of my sons school photos for this layout.

2Crafty products used:

 'Brick Panel'
'Mini Number Panels'
'Tiny Triangle Clusters'

For this layout, I used a section cut from one of the 'Brick Panels',
that I have embossed in white
so that it contrasts against my dark background.

I then used one of the 'Mini Number Panels',
painted in a bright yellow to match my layout,
that I have layered onto the brick panel.

I also used a few of the 'Tiny Triangle Clusters',
that I have embossed white and used across my page.

I was lucky that this school range co-ordinates well with my son's uniform colours.
I am really happy with how this layout turned out.

Can you believe this little munchkin graduated Year 12 last year,
how time flies!

Until next time!

Lisa

'Making Memories Everyday'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.

'Making Memories Everyday'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout I have started with a mixed media background
 on my black base cardstock.
I then used one of the 'Tiny Star Circle Frames',
which I have embossed in white, tucked into my paper layers.

I have also used the 'Brick Panel'
which I have cut up into pieces,
and embossed in white and tucked into my layers.

For my title I used the 'Making Memories Everyday' title,
which I have again embossed in white,
and adhered at the bottom of my page.
I love this script font!

I really love how the white chipboard pops off the black page.
I have used a photo of my son and I for this layout.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to get crafty in some way today.

Until next time,

Lisa

A Glimpse of You Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania with you today to share the second of my DT projects for July.
I have created a layout.

"A Glimpse of You"

2 Crafty Chipboard Products Used:

*A Glimpse of You
*Flourish Adornment Set 6
*Brick Panel
*Kathleen's Tiny Frame

I coloured the Brick Panel, Kathleen's Tiny Frame and Flourish Adornment Set 6 Chipboard with Art Alchemy White Pearl Paint and the A Glimpse of You Title with Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink.

I positioned my photo where I wanted it on the page.  I then cut up the Brick Panel Chipboard and tucked pieces in and around the torn patterned paper and photo.  I added flower clusters to the top left and bottom right of the photo.

I tucked a Flourish Adornment Chipboard piece into each of the flower clusters and a Tiny Kathleen's Frame into the bottom flower cluster.  I finished off the page by adding the A Glimpse of You title to the bottom left of the photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Tania xx

Love
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Summer time is here in Canada and along with it some much needed vacations!
The layout I am sharing today features my teen son as he "borrowed" my sunglasses because
the sun was too strong to his taste.

"Love"

On the "Light bulb word set" and the "Light Bulbs", I applied brown ink and a bit of gold wax on top.

For the "Steampunk Strips", I used black paint with silver and gold glitters in it. I ripped the "Brick panel" chipboard to make multiple pieces and applied two coats of green metallic paint. Then I applied black ink on the borders.

For the "Frames Tiny Henri's", I rubbed some gold wax and black ink on top, letting a bit
the original chipboard color show through.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Light bulb word set 1 [M00803]
Light bulbs [M00457]
Steampunk Strips [M00781]
Brick Panel [660038]
Frames Tiny Henri's [FR0068]
Steampunk Gears Medium [M00646]

That's all for me today!
I'll be back in a few weeks with another layout to share with you!
Until then, happy crafting!

Good Vibes
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

One good thing to come out of the various pandemic lockdowns is that I had time to pick up a new crafting skill: I started sewing! At first, I was doing facemasks to help people stay safe&stylish. But over the months I became more comfortable and I recently completed my first pieces of clothing for my kids.

Last week, I completed my very first long-sleeved t-shirt, custom made for my son, using fabric he choose! We are both super happy with the result so this really deserved a nice picture so I could create a layout to celebrate this success! I've picked some awesome chipboards that fit my son and a color pallette that matches the t-shirt's.

 "Good Vibes"

On the "Brick Panel", I roughly applied some diluted green-gold shimmering paint, still letting a bit of the chipboard color and texture show through.

For the "Foliage Set 5", I used green-gold embossing enamel then inked the borders in black. On the "Steampunk cog strips", I applied pewter paint, then added some rustic mint paint applied very roughly and finally applied some gold wax with my fingers.

On the "Steampunk Gears Medium", I applied the same rustic mint paint and gold wax as on the "Steampunk Cog Strips" (but not the pewter paint), then inked the borders in black. For the "Circle Frames", I just roughly rubbed gold wax, to let a lot of the chipboard color through. On the title, "Good vibes", I used black-gold embossing enamel.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

Brick Panel [660038]
Foliage Set 5 [M00802]
Steampunk Cog Strips [M00783]
Steampunks Gears Medium [M00646]
Circle Frames [120022]
Good vibes [W00583]

That's all for me today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and that it gave you some inspiration for your own creations. I'll be back in a few weeks with a new layout to share with you guys! See you soon!
