Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you today sharing another bit of
 2 Crafty Chipboard inspiration...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
2018
Fine flower adornment set 1
Indian feathers
Dream in Color

This layout came together quite quickly really, which I love..
I did a simple but effective treatment to the chipboard
and gave all of the pieces 2 coats of gesso...

The Indian Feathers & the 2018
amongst the strong bright colors
looks gorgeous don't you think....

The title Dream in Color & Fine Flower Adornment from set 1 in white
against the B&W photo and the pops of color, I think works so well together...
That's it from me, thanks for stopping by & Until next time

'Create' layout
by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach with you today sharing some more 2 Crafty inspiration...
where I have created this fun, little girly, little grungy, mixed media page.
And have included some great 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces.

2 Crafty Chipboard:
NEW Mini Scissors set
ATC - words 1
Aztec feathers
Mini Fob watches
Indian feathers

Starting with the super cute Mini Fob watch,
where I have ever so lightly added a coat of gesso...
Make sure not to take away any detail to the watch.

Next up is the Aztec feather, that I have partly sitting
underneath my photo. Again using some gesso,
I have given this feather 2 coats.

Also given 2 coats of gesso to the Indian feathers,
and finished them off by blending a little bit of teal ink

Lastly! For my title 'Create' & the New Mini Scissor I have sitting next right next to it.
Going with the same process by adding 2 coats of gesso, then inking the 'Create'
with brown & the Mini Scissor, inking it lightly with an apricot.

Thanks for stopping by,
I hope you have a FABULOUS week

'Shine Bright' Layout
By Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!

Rach with you all to share some more
2 Crafty chipboard inspiration,
this layout featuring my girl...

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

Shine bright
Foliage set 8
Flower doliy
Indian feathers
half frame circle flourish
Filigee arrow
The bird from bird cage set 2

With this page I decided to create a mixed media
 page with a pastel colours..

Ok! starting off with the half frame circle flourish
Inking this delightful frame with a pale teal
before sitting & framing the photo
of my gorgeous girl...

Next up the SUPER cute bird which I have inked
with a nice pastel pink, before attaching
it with some foam/dimension tape...

Next I have added two halves of the flower doilies.
Firstly given them a coat of gesso,
before inking this with the same pastel pink as the bird!!

Now onto the title 'Shine Bright'
I first gave it a coat of gesso then finished
it with inking parts of the title with no other color, but yellow....

Next up I have added 3 Indian feathers..
I started with inking them with yellow ink, then finishing the off
with rubbing the centres with rose gold wax,
before adding them into my flower clusters....

Then a couple of pieces from the Foilage set 8,
where I firstly gave the foilage pieces two coats
of gesso, before cutting these into even smaller foilage pieces,
and also adding these thoughout my flower clusters...

Lastly is this delicate gorgeous Filigree arrow.
Inking this beauty with a purple & attaching this onto my flower cluster...

Thanks so much for stopping by,
I hope I have left you feeling inspired in some way...
until next time!!

'Magical' ..... a layout by Tammy Klingner

Hi there 2Crafty ones..... Tam here today to share my latest creation.
It's titled:

'Magical'

This layout captures my daughter and her girlfriend as they headed off to a Formal.
They were hamming it up for the camera as they anticipated the magical night ahead of them!

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:
"6" Mandala No 3"
"Fine Word Set 2"
"Dreamcatchers"
"Indian Feathers"
"Soft Feather Set"
I created a Dreamcatcher using the new 6" Mandala No 3.

To achieve the effect, I added white gesso, and then rubbed some rust coloured ink over it.
I made sure this was random as I really wanted some of the white to show through.
I then added some teal coloured acrylic paint in various sections.
I love the look I achieved!

I repeated the process with the 'Indian Feathers' and also the 'Soft Feather Set'.

On some I used more rust, and on others I used more teal.

Once dry, I went over the top of the feathers with a white gel pen, adding a few dots and details.
This really made them 'pop'.

I again repeated this process on the 'Dreamcatcher'.
I positioned one next to my photos, and added another to the edge of the layout, to create balance.

I also added a few beads to enhance the 'bohemian theme'.

For my title, I used the word 'Magical' from the 'Fine Word Set 2', as it just suited the layout so perfectly.

I added a rust ink to this and added it the top of my photos.

I just love all the layers, and adore those colours together!

That mix of chipboard feathers and real feathers just makes my heart so happy!

I love that 2Crafty Chipboard is so adaptable!!
It can become any colour I want it to be, so it ties in perfectly with the layout and the story.

That's it from me today......

I'll see you all again in December! (seriously December, that's CRAZY)

Until then you can always see more on my BLOG .

Luv Tam

More October Inspiration
By Rachael Funnell

Hello 2Crafty fans!
Rach with you today sharing a layout I recently created using some gorgeous
2Crafty Chipboard pieces... This layout featuring my gorgeous girl!!!

'#ADORE'

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Soft Feather
4" Mandala No 3.
Indian feathers
ATC - hearts (from ATC Hearts & Stars pack)
Dream Catcher
#ADORE from Mini # word set 1

I started off with treating all chipboard pieces with a coat of gesso.....

Next: I cut the beautiful 4" Mandala No 3. in half and before placing a piece either side
of my photo I randomly added some blue using a Tim holtz Distress Crayon! Doing the
same with the Large Soft Feather and the 3 Indian feathers just adding a bit more colour
 to these....
Don't they look really PRETTY!!

Next: Adding a another coat of gesso to the few ATC - hearts before attaching them....

Also! adding another coat of gesso to the Dream Catcher once dried & with my finger
rubbing some colour onto the catcher using Time Hotlz - Distress Oxide 'Seedless preserves'.

Next: Inking the chipboard piece #ADORE with Versa Color - Violet ink & adhering
onto my B& W photo... I was really HAPPY with how this looked sitting on the photo!!

Finishing off by adding an assortment of  flowers, a couple some fussy
cut out ones as well as a couple of purple flowers just to bring it altogether nicely.

Thank you for stopping by & I hope you like & felt a little inspired...

Until next time HAPPY Crafting xx

"Treasure" by Sabrina Turpin

Hi 2Crafty friends!

Today I would like to share with you a layout I just completed that features my daughter
Mila, having just undone her braids. Now proud of her wavy hair as we're visiting an
indoor surf center. I wanted to prepare a fitting layout, with a warm, Hawaiian feel.

For the title, "Treasure", part of the "Fine Word Set 1", I used a shabby white embossing enamel.
For the "Dreamcatchers" chipboard, behind the picture, I used a bronze embossing powder.

For the "Foliage Set 3", I used a blue-gold opaline paint and inked the board with a black ink.

On the "Indian Feathers", at the top-left of the flowers, I roughly applied black ink on the
contours while leaving the chipboards their natural color. For the other "Indian Feathers",
on each side of the title, I used rose-gold wax and traced the groves with a black ink pen.
I also inked the border of the feathers with black ink.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...

Indian Feather M00469
Fine Word Set 1 M00656
Dreamcatchers M00570
Foliage Set 3 M00569

That's all for today! I hope you like the result and that it inspired you for
your own creations! See you soon with more ideas!
