'Tranquil Moments'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here on the blog today to share some inspiration with you.
I have created a layout,
using some of the gorgeous chipboard designs available.

'Tranquil Moments'

2Crafty Products used:

For this layout I have used watercolours on my base page,
in colours to match my photo.

I have used some of the 'Fluer de Lis ATC',
which gives you two sizes to use.

I have finished them in a matt black,
and scattered a few across my page.

I love the contrast of the black chipboard with these colours.

I have also used one of the 'Mixed Fine Border Set',
that I have also finished in matt black.

I fell for the simplicity and beauty of this border.
Perfect for my page.

To finish I have used the 'Tranquil Moments' title.
That's exactly what this moment I took the photo was.

This has also been finished in matt black.

I'm really happy with how this layout turned out.
Not exactly how I first pictured it, but I am loving the final result.

I hope that you like what I have created.

Until next time!

'Today is a great Day'
May Inspiration
with Lisa Amiet

Hello, 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you!

'Today is a Great Day'

'Fluer De Lise ATC'              'Frame Georgian'

Flourish Adornment Set 6

I have used a photo of my daughter and her bestie,
celebrating besties birthday to create this fun layout!

I have used the large 'Frame Georgian', that I have embossed in white,
I have then backed it with some patterned paper.

I have also used one of the 'Flourish Adornment Set 6'
that I have also embossed in white,
and layered onto my fussy cut florals.

I have also used a few of the 'Fluer De Lise ATC',
that I have again embossed in white and added to my layers.

I love how elegant these pieces are and
how the white pops on the black background.

I hope you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you today!

Until next time!

February Projects & Video Tutorial
By Kripa Koushik

'Gratitude Art Journal Page'

I returned to my craft room after almost two months away last week and this was
the first project I made - a page to document my gratitude for the timely help that the
universe sent us during times of crisis these last few months.

There are many layers of paint and texture paste on both pages. To create the impressions on
the left side page, I pressed three Fluer De Lice ATC pieces into wet texture paste , scratched
circles around them with a palette knife and a few minutes later, carefully lifted out the first
two fluer pieces.

On the other page, Ive written my gratitude with a fine tip applicator and made a cluster of chipboard on top of it. There are still a few swirls of brown visible under the chipboard pieces. The base of this cluster is the negative from the Fluer de Lice ATC chipboard sheet. All of the chipboard pieces were covered with white gesso on top of which acrylic paint was applied using a palette knife. The only exception is the gear chipboard under the ochre yellow fluer. It was painted on without gesso and looks darker than the other brown pieces which adds subtle colour variation.

2crafty chipboard used:
* Clock face frames
* Fluer De Lice ATC
* Vintage Clock Hands
* Steampunk Gears Small
* Steampunk Gears Medium

'Together'

My second layout was inspired by Case File No: 248 at CSI:
Colours, Stories & Inspiration which 2Crafty Chipboard is sponsoring.

To frame the photograph, Ive used Ava's frames chipboard. To balance the swirls on the frame,
Ive added one piece from the Leafy Shrub Set 1 on the other side of the frame and another
piece from the same set in the bottom left corner of the page.

Finally, a Mini Flourish bit was tucked under the fuzzy cut flower cluster on the right .

Here is the video of how this page came together. I hope you enjoy.

Layout and ATC's by Sandra Bernard

''You Shine''

Hi chipie fans! I'm back today with another pink layout.
Love hibiscus flowers, so I based my project on those chipboard.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Hibiscus
Sml leafy Vine
Skeleton leaves
''You Shine'' as title

I started by coloring my background with pink watercolor. Then, I put some distress ink over
a stencil to create some interesting focal points. I stamped in grey to add more textures.

My small leafy vines was colored with gesso, then with distress green color.
I added some glitter silver paint in some areas.

I used two different tones or green to embossed my ''You shine'' title

I played with watercolor pencils to colored my hibiscus flowers. And I added
 also some yellow-green color too.

The skeleton leaves have been colored also with gesso and distress ink green.

'' Je me souviens''
Means ''I remember''

For my second creation, I choose to talk about my province, Quebec.
Quebec is a french province of Canada.
In June, we celebrate our national bithday.
 That's why I created 3 ATC's about my province.

2Crafty products list:
fluer de lise ATC
Indian Feathers
Winter twig branches
folk hearts
Interlocking grid panel

I started my ATC's with modeling paste and stencil. Then I added some blue ink
because the colors of our flag are white and blue.

To contrast with the blue of the background, I chose to emboss my
Interlocking grid panel and separated it in three pieces, one on each ATC.

My three ATC's are decorated with a fluer de lise which is our emblem and present on our flag too.
A folk heart is present also on each one to show you my love for my province.

The first one is decorated with a nautical touch because a long river,''Saint Laurent '
'crosses the whole province. So I used a penny from our country.

The second one talk about our animal emblem, The snowy owl. So, I used a
feather under my chipies "Indian feather".

The last one talks about our conifers present in our territory.
That's why I used Winter twig branches

I separated our slogan national ''JE ME SOUVIENS'' on my three ATC's
to show you that they form a whole.

I hope you like it...
see you next month
