"Sweet Love Thank you for being Mine" canvas by Amy Voorthuis

Goodmorning creative 2Crafty friends,

Happy 2023 to you all, I hope you had a lovely New Years eve here it was rainy with lots of pretty fire works but I was in bed by 12:15 lol since my husband & kids all have the flue they were not in a festive mood. Since we now have Valentines day approaching I created a canvas with my husband as the center pieces well him kissing me that is. This year in April we will be celebrating our being together for 25 years. So you will see some more works of me in honour of that.

Sweet Love Thank you for being Mine:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Berry Branch
Festive Vine
Frame Handrawn Hearts

All the pretty 2Crafty chipboard pieces are firstly treated with a layer white gesso. After that I added two layers of aqua embossing powders and one layer of pure white embossing powder on the berry branch & festive vine.

On the berry branch I added less white embossing powder then I did on the festive vine since I wanted them to look slightly diffenrent from each other. In the end I added some crystal drops on the circles to give them more demension en also some white matte wax. The heart frame was painted with two different types of acrylic paint the first with a shiny finish and the second one with a matte finish.

Thank you so much for your visit today and if you would like to see more of my work please visit here:

Our Sweet Girl by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the my last DT project for November.
I have created a layout to share with you all.

"Our Sweet Girl"

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Our Sweet Girl Title
*Frame Handrawn Hearts
*Squiggly Heart Cluster
*Mini Flourish Bits

I used the beautiful Mintay Birdsong Paper Collection to create the base for for my layout.

I tried something a little different with some the chipboard for this layout and sponged on some Colour Blast Envy Texture Paste to the Handrawn Hearts Frames and Squiggly Heart Cluster and I like the way it gave patches of colour here and there on the chipboard pieces.  I coloured the Mini Flourish Bits and Our Sweet Girl chipboard with Gilded Apricot Opal Polish.
I tucked my photo in between the Handrawn Hearts and placed it in the centre of the page.  I embellished along the bottom of the photo with flowers and fussy cut elements and then tucked in the Squiggly Heart Cluster.

I tucked in the Mini Flourish Bits chipboard in amongst the flower clusters.
To finish off my page I added the Our Sweet Girl title.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Tania xx

November Inspiration and Picture Tutorial
by Debbie Burns

Hi everyone, Debbie here with you today to share my November projects.

"Amazing Day"

I love fall colors with their deep rich tones.  I used a picture of a dear friend of mine and
was inspired by the colors in the picture. I applied some random misting on the background.

I embossed the Frame Handrawn Heart with a mixture of spice and chili powder.  On each side of my photo I added Addy's Butterflies, embossed with spice, sage and turquoise embossing powders. Beneath the butterfly is the new Swaying Branches embossed with a distressed brown powder.

A close up of the Swaying Branches and Leafy Rounds Chipboard pieces.
I added some twig and paprika microbeads.

Here I've used the new Amazing Day title embossed with brown and chili.

Karine's June Shares

Hi there, 2Crafty fans.

I'm here today to share with two layouts with you that I created using the gorgeous
chipboards from 2Crafty. Let's jump right in with the first one.

"Precious"

For this layout, I went with a bright green. This color feels so happy!

My layout is based on the two pieces of the Modern Swirls that I put together.
They received a coat of dark brown embossing powder.

Around my photo, I used one of the Frame Handdrawn Heart.
I heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

My title piece is part of the Fine Word Set #2. I think this is one of my most favorite
set of all times! I heat embossed the "Precious" word with white embossing powder.

I think this white title piece is perfect against the flowers and embellishments I used here.

My second layout is featuring a picture of my son.

"This Boy"

I started this layout with the Frame Lucy's Flourish as my main piece.
I painted it with a patina metallic acrylic paint.

I then decided to add some Film Strips Small, which I embossed
with a dark blue embossing powder.

My title piece, the "This Boy" piece, is painted with a blue metallic acrylic paint.

Here are a few other details shots, for you to see the texture.

Tammy's March Shares

Good morning 2Crafties!

It's my turn to share today, and I'm excited about it as I've got two
completely different layouts to show you.

First up is....

"Just the 3 of Us"

This one is a bright, colourful one.  You may have worked out by now that I adore colour!

In this layout I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

"Just the 3 of us title"
"6" Revolution Frame"
"Assorted Arrows"

I painted some of the "Assorted Arrows" black and also my title "Just the 3 of Us" black too.

I find this grounds them, and allows them to pop against the bright colours.

I painted the "6 " Revolution Frames" orange.
I went with orange as it contrasts well with the background.

I used the large one to frame my photo, and the smaller ones I tucked underneath
my layers, making sure some of them were poking out.

A happy, bright page celebrating myself and my 2 kiddos and how much we love being together.

My second layout is titled:
"Make a Difference"

This one is much softer than my usual style, although I couldn't help adding black to give it contrast.

The theme of this layout is a serious one - it's all about my passion
for preventing and reducing violence against women.
This inspired the hearts, the title and the soft colour palette.

For this layout I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard pieces:

"Make a Difference title"
"Drawn Heart Frame"
"Heart Clumps"
"Fine Leafy Bush"
"ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars"

I painted the "Drawn Heart Frame" and the "Make a Difference title" black,
as I wanted these to 'pop' against the soft colours.

I painted the "Fine Leafy Bush" white.
I then cut off the little clusters and poked these in around the flowers.

I embossed the "Heart Clumps" with a gorgeous cream emboss powder,
which has a hint of pink and gold in it. So pretty!

I then painted some hearts from the "ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars" in a
soft pink paint.  I scattered these randomly on the layout.

You will notice this layout moves from the top left corner, down to the bottom right corner.
This creates movement through the page.
I used the frame and the clusters of embellishments to draw the eye into the photo.

Well that's it from me today.

I hope this inspired you.
