Happiness is This by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for August.  I have created a layout.

"Happiness is This"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Thin Square Stacked Frames
*Addy's Butterflies
*Swaying Branches
*6x4 Phrase Stick Set 5

I have used the gorgeous Celebr8 Cherished Memories Collection to create the base for my layout.  I fussy cut the gorgeous wreath for the focal point of the background page.

I coloured the Addy's Butterflies & largest Stacked Square frame chippies with Heidi Swapp Blush Color Shine Spray.  The Swaying Branches chippies were coloured with Opal Polish Green Paint.

Once I added my photo,  I added the Stacked Frame over top.
I added lots of paper blooms to the top right and bottom left of my photo.  I tucked one of each of the Swaying Branch chippies into each side of the bottom flower cluster.  I added the Add's butterfly chippies tucking a couple into the flower clusters and the rest randomly around my page.
I finished of my page by adding the "Happiness in This" title which I left raw, across the top of my photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Tania xx

"LOVE YOU MILLIONS"
Layout By Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,
Here I am again to present my second inspiration for this month of October.

Here in France we are in the middle of autumn, the cold is starting and the days are short.

But I love fall the colors of nature are incredible.
So I chose to make a layout with bright colors but always autumnal.

"LOVE YOU MILLIONS"

The 2CraftyChipboards used:

- 6 X 4 Phrase Sticks 4
- 12 X 12 Clock Faces
- Swaying Branches
- Flower Doilies
- Flowering Clusters
- Polaroid Assortment

As always the same method of preparing particle board by applying a layer of white gesso.

I practically only used embossing powders only in the varied colors and textures.

On the "12 x 12 Clock Faces" chipboard, it is a blue color with small gold highlights.
As I often like I placed it under my photo.

For the "Swaying Branches" chipboard, I chose a Lindy's Gang "Tin Roof Rusted"
embossing powder. To highlight it, I had it pasted on my photo.

I chose this title "LOVE YOU MILLIONS" which shows
all the love I have for my granddaughter.

With a watermark pen I underlined the letters then I put the embossing powder.
It gives a little different effect.

I used the "Flower Doilies" particle board as a lace effect.
They are just embellished with a little touch of natural wax.

I wanted to add this laser cut like a newspaper but it didn't stand out well so I added
this "Polaroid" chipboard which changed everything.

Below for more details I have placed the "Flowering Clusters" chipboard.

Do not hesitate to concentrate a lot of chipboard on your layouts.
They bring volume and important details...

So much for my layout. Tomorrow, another inspiration will be there for you.

See you soon!

Going with green for the Cactus & then
colouring the pots in different shades of blue...

Next the Swaying Branches where I have
inked these branches with a silver,
then cutting them into smaller pieces

"Today is PERFECT"
layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello, I am still with you today to present my second inspiration for this month of September.

Today I have made a page in lighter tones but always with a lot of flowers and romanticism.

I was inspired by this photo of my son with his girlfriend,
and also the bouquet of flowers.

"Today is PERFECT"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- today is PERFECT
- 11" Floral Heart Frame
- Frames Tiny Henri's
- Swaying Branches

As you know, I apply a coat of white gesso on the chipboards.

I cut the "Floral Heart Frame" chipboard on which I waxed a first coat of pink color
and a second of deeper Indian Pink color. I even ended up adding a little
black gesso to get a darker effect.

After having positioned my photo on several layers of paper I interspersed the
 "Frames Tiny Henri's"
chipboards which I embellished with white color embossing powder.

I then used the "Swaying Branches" chipboard which I just painted in green for contrast.

And to finish the title on which I applied "white purely" embossing powder.

To harmonize it all, a lot of flowers and cutouts.

I wanted to have a heart, I hope it worked.

Thank you for always following us and see you very soon!

Marie

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you sharing a new layout
'Adore'

This layout features a sweet photo
of my daughter & her cousin along with
some FABULOUS 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces:

2019
Fine word set 1
Fairy set 1
10" Decorative panel - Soild heart
arrow word set
Swaying branches

Keeping it raw with the 10" Decorative panel
and matting it with some foral paper, then once added
some stamping to the base paper adhering the 10" panel...

With the Swaying branch a coat of gesso
then once dried inked with a teal...

Cut into smaller pieces and have incorporated
these pieces thoughout the fussy cutting & flower
clusters....

I did the same process to this gorgeous
Fairy - gessoed then inked, this time
 with a nice apricot ink...

These are still my all time favorite
2 Crafty Chipboard pieces the assortment of a year,
This 2019 - I have once again gessoed
then inked with a yellow...

Finishing off with the fine word - Adore
I have given it 2 coats of gesso, and the
Family Arrow has been inked with a silver...

"This moment"
Layout and VIDEO by Marie Sabatier

I present to you my first page of this month of May with a step by step video.

We are still living in difficult times, so I hope you still find the time to create.

My inspiration is this magnificent "Rose Flourish Frame" chipboard.

"This moment"

TO VIEW VIDEO CLICK HERE

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- 6X4 phrase sticks 5
- Rose flourish frame
- Frame oval ornate
- Swaying branches

Some close-up photos but for more details do not hesitate to watch the video.

This magnificent "Rose Flourish Frame" chipboard allows me to properly frame my layout.
It is very elegant I think!

I applied to each chipboard the same embossing powder of color "Golden Angel Wings" to harmonize the colors with the background of my page and the photo.

And finally the title that I only embellished with blue wax.

I hope you enjoyed it and especially thank you for watching the video.

See you soon!
