Florabella Cards by Tania Ridgwell

 Hi there!

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for May.  I have created a set of cards. 

"Florabella Cards"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Mini # Word Set 1

*Leafy Rounds

*Circle Stack

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous Mintay Florabella Collection.

I used Art Alchemy Opal Magic Violet Gold Paint to colour all my chippie pieces.  I first added different sized Circle chippies to each of the cards.  Then to construct each of the cards I embellished them with fussy cut flower elements from the Mintay Flora Book 8 and blooms. I cut the Leafy Rounds in half and tucked them into the clusters on each card and to finish each card I added a Chippie Sentiment Title to them from the Mini Word Set.

“A Pop of Colour” Layout By Chrissy Tingey

Hi everyone, today I have this project to share with you, I chose to 

use a royalty free image with this layout, the colours were stunning and bright, just 

perfect for the layout and chipboard I had in mind.

Heart Frame with flowers

I started off by painting the gorgeous "Frame Heart with Flowers” 

pure white to coordinate with some of my fussy cut embellishments, 

it has some very cute little flowers attached to it, I cut 

these off and repositioned them so they 

are seen poking out from my fussy cut flowers

I  then painted those fabulous large “Flower Petals” chipboard in a vibrant

 red colour - matching the colour of the flowers in my photo. 

I Love the “Mini Word Set” sometimes I just want to add a tiny title, these are 

perfect for doing just that - this is also painted in a coordinating colour. 

I have enjoyed adding a splash of colour by painting my chipboard in 

that bright red to coordinate with my photo, it sure makes a statement!!!!!

Floral Beauty Layout By Chrissy Tingey

Hi everyone,
Chrissy here with another layout for you, featuring fussy cutting and chipboard layers. 

For this layout I wanted to keep the beautiful chipboard raw, I love the pale
grey colour of it and think it works perfectly with my layout colours.

Border Venetian Lace

I love using the border chipboards and the Venetian Lace is just stunning! - I added this across the centre of my layout and added a few teeny tiny hot pink pearls along the length of it.

Once my layout is assembled and all the fussy cutting is arranged around my photo, I then tucked the cute mini Foliage sprays and Funky Leaf Swirls in and around the fussy cut clusters, I love shaping my fussy cut florals, so I have also slightly shaped and moulded the chipboard. 

I can’t resist a beautiful butterfly…oh my, the Fine & Fancy Butterflies are just devine…with a set of three I have layered them up and a small hot pink pearl added to the centre finishes it off.

I don’t often add titles to my layouts, but I do love the Mini wordlets and added the
wordlet  “Amazing” to my photo from the set. 

I hope I have inspired you today using these wonderful chipboard products,

"Amazing" A Vacation Layout By Jenny J.

Hello everyone!

Here I am today to show you my dream layout

(as I would like to lay down on a beach 😉)

Here are the chippies that I have used...

I have used a lot of embossing powders to treat my chippies this time.

Two tones of greens for the "Palm leaves set" and

a shinny white one for my title

which came from "Mini word set 1"

Below, the "Mini title stick set 4" chippie 

is painted with black gesso and treated with a wax.

Hope it will bring some inspiration in your home!

'My Mother My Friend' layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello Everyone! 

Rach with you today, sharing my newest layout featuring 

a selfie photo of me & my beautiful mum... 

and incorpated some great 2 Crafty Chipboarrd pieces...

My Mother My Friend (title)

First up is the title 'My Mother My Friend' 

and keeping it quite simple with 

giving  It two coats of gesso...

For the #LOVE word I inked it with 

silver ink before adhering it down 

the right side of my photo...

Next is this super cute Dotted heart circle frame

I inked it a nice vibrant colour teal, just to

bring focus back to my photo... 

(cause its all about us after all LOL)

And lastly is the Lrg Flower vine corner

Where I gave it 2 coats of gesso, then 

cutting it into 2 pieces and adhering 

a piece either side of my photo...

True Beauty - with Emma

Hello 2Crafty friends,

Emma here with you all for my last project of the year but also 2Crafty's last blog post for the year. So I feel very honored to finish 2019 in this way.
I have truly enjoyed being a part of the design team this year and can not wait to
 be a part of it all again in 2020.
 So lets see how the awesome chipboard inspired me this month.

Here is the amazing chipboard in the raw......

I often like to keep the chipboard pretty simple so it really becomes the focal feature without getting too lost in all the other paper elements.

So with the chosen chipboard for this page I opted to use a bolder colour to 'pop' from the page and I did this with Rust effect pastes.

This is probably one of my most fave ways of covering my chipboard as I adore the texture. I wanted it to feel earthy to match the tranquility and awe of the image I had chosen.

After the Rust paste had dried I lightly rubbed over them with a Prima wax. This really added highlights and showed up more of that texture that I love.

With the title 'beauty' I only rubbed over it with the wax, no other preparation involved. Again this is why I love 2crafty chipboard as it is so easy to use with various mediums. 

 I must admit one of my other favourite elements on this page is the little watch. My 12yr old Son Asha loves watching me create and likes to help me choose embellishments for me for some of my layouts. He put together all the little prills, hearts and flakes together in the fob and I loved it so much. It made the layout of course!

I wish to thank all you 2crafty supporters and readers for all the love you have shown over the past year and I look forward to sharing with you all in 2020.

Be Amazing - Karan Gerber

Hello 2 Crafty Fans and welcome to the blog today!
It is Karan Gerber hosting the blog today and I have an altered piece to share with you.

I freehand drew the palette on corrugated cardboard matted it on thick chipboard and had

 so much fun putting this together. I never throw out my old paint brushes, I keep them

 tucked away for projects such as this. 

I used some of my favorite 2 Crafty pieces clocks, gears, steampunk borders and the mini

 words are fantastic to use for titles. 

The large clock face that is cut in half was left over from one of my previous projects.

 I used that as well as the center of this which is under the paint brushes.

The steampunk borders are peeking out below the bottom clock face.

For the gears I attached brads to them and used them through this altered piece.

The title from the mini word set was heat embossed with white embossing powder. I dabbed

 a bit of wax on it. Prills and art stones were scattered throughout to add texture and

 dimension to this piece.

Hello Friends and good day!
 Its Karan here today to host the 2Crafty Blog for you and I have a mixed media
canvas to share with you.

 I started with a 6x8 flat board canvas, and went about having some fun with some
 favorite mediums, here is the end result.

I used the Flourish adornment pieces in the corner, set the Lucy flourish in the middle of the resin frame, added the Steampunk strip on top and set some metal wings to detail the flourish strip.

I added in some brads to detail the border. I then colored the treasure mini word and set on top for the title. 

I love how all these pieces work so beautifully together, hope you have fun playing with some of your favorite mediums too.
