"Love at Christmas"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to meet you again to present my first inspiration for this month of November.

I love the holiday season and as they go by very quickly
I am going right away to present these beautiful Christmas chipboards to you.

"Love at Christmas"

The 2CraftyChipboard used:

- Love at Christmas
- Star Circular Frames
- Majestic Reindeers
- Funky Christmas Trees

I started by embellishing the "Star Circular Frame" chipboard by applying "Chalk It Up"
embossing powder. I love the smoothness of this chipboard!
That I positioned around and on my photo.

On the "Majestic Reindeers" chipboard I also applied "Hibiscus Rose Orange"
colored embossing powder and added a layer of transparent glitter.

I wanted the reindeer to look like my granddaughter's outfit.
I find them both too beautiful!

This is the first time I have used these "Funky Christmas Trees" particle boards
and on this layout I find they match very well.
They are also embossed with a "Chip off the Old Black" color.

Of course the title remains important for the final touch and essential
to make us feel our emotion.

After laying out my entire layout, I added "Transparent Glitter" embossing powder
to the "Funky Christmas Trees" chipboards. They look even more beautiful.

That's it for me, I always had so much fun creating this layout
with these great chipboards.

Hope I gave you some ideas.

My Lovely Daughter
By Jenny J.

Good morning everyone!

Here is my second January inspiration at 2Crafty.

You will see below all the gorgeous pieces that I've used on that layout.

2Crafty Chipboard Used
-Star circular frames
-Interlocking grid panel
-Isn't she lovely
-Foliage set 6
-Foliage set 1
-Dandelions

As usual, I've started by covering my background paper with clear gesso.
Then, I've used modeling paste, 2 different stencils and some sprays to add a bit of textures.
I've displayed my photo on layers of cardboard and papers and of course,
a beautiful piece of 2Crafty chipboard: "Interlocking grid panel".
Both  pieces of this set are treated with black gesso and Finnabair's waxes.

The "Star circular frame" on my photo is simply sprayed.

That title, "Isn't she lovely" was the perfect one for my daughter's picture, don't you think?
That chippie is embossed with a gold embossing powder.

Below, you will see the "Dandelions" painted in white,
and one piece of the "Foliage set 1", sprayed with the same color as the Star circular frame.
There's another piece of that set under the title ;)

Finally, the other pieces named previously:
"Interlocking grid panel"
"Foliage set 1" but also
"Foliage set 6" which is  embossed with a teal powder.

Thanks for stopping by

"Merry Christmas"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Here is my third page for this month of December, I love to create for this
period of the year, the colors, the shine, the magic of Christmas.

The inspiration for this page is this beautiful "Merry Christmas" title, it is so
generous in detail and also my first creation for my little little niece "Romy"

"Merry Christmas"

As I often say, first apply a layer of gesso to prepare and protect the chipboards.

Here I covered some embossing powder of Oakleaf Olive color to try & bring
out the details on the title & I also added a second color Tannenbaum
Green Gold on the  stars on the flakes too.

For all chipboards I applied embossing powder. I love this effect of softness
that it brings to the touch and it gives relief to the chipboards.

Some details :...

2Crafty Chipboard used :
- Christmas Cluster 1
- Star Circular Frames
- Stellar Snow Flakes
- ATC-Tiny-Hearts-Stars-Pack

This is my last page for 2018 & that brings me happiness, for me to be
able to create with these beautiful chipboards and this great team.

I am very happy to be back with you again next year.

I wish you a very good end of the year, & a lot of happiness.

See you next year....

Thank you

Christmas Inspiration by Hetty Hall

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog post.

Today I would like to share with you a Christmas layou.

'Joy'

This month 2Crafty Chipboard is a sponsor for CSI: Colour, Stories, Inspiration challenge and I am one of the lucky DT ladies who got to play along as Guest Detective

The scene for this month's Case File:

To copy the colour scheme I had some issues as I couldn't find any Christmas related papers in those colours so I went for the love struck collection by Authentique which I think worked well for this layout.

From the evidence I chose to use 2Crafty elements: stars, snowflakes/winter elements, animals (deer), Christmas elements (Holly Leaves) and for the testimony I chose the title word 'Joy'.

I added some silver embossing powder to the holly leaves and snow flakes and white embossing powder to the title, stars ad hearts and date to tone in with the other colours.

Other elements from the evidence are dots, grid pattern, more hearts, string, numbers, tag and from the testimony I added journaling to the tag which is tucked behind the photo mat as well as the photo is documenting the joy of the holidays.

Flowers are from 49 and Market and the stargazers make perfect poinsettia flowers.

Product List:
- Star Circular Frames
- Deer Set
- Fine Snow Flakes
- Holly Twig
- Christmas Card Words
- ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars pack
- 2018 Date Chipboard

And there you have it, I hope you enjoyed today's blog post.

Until next time......

Hugs

Hetty

'Merry Christmas' CSI Case 267
with Kripa Koushik

Hi friends,

This month 2crafty chipboard is sponsoring the challenge at CSI - Case 267 and this is my take on it.For evidence, I used a background paper with grids, tags in the layers behind the photograph, stars, reindeer, string and lots of Christmas elements. For the testimony Ive documented something about Christmas and put my journaling on a tag.

I started by applying a layer of gesso on all the 2crafty chipboard pieces.

Two of the pieces - mini reindeer and star circular frame are covered
with metallic gold paint from Colourarte.

The Mini Bauble Tree was painted with metallic Teal paint.

This is my favourite part of the layout. I love how beautiful these two pieces
of chipboard look layered over each other. To colour the St. Nicks Snowflake,
I applied stamp pads in shades of green directly on the gessoed piece.
Once heat set, dab a little white gesso to get a distressed look.

Thank you for visiting us today.
Have a great week ahead.
Kripa

March Inspiration By Bec

Hi all, today I'm here to share two layouts that I have made this month.

This Boy

I also made a video tutorial for this layout so please enjoy.

First up is my take on a masculine layout with flowers.

2Crafty Chipboard  used:
Star Circular Frames
Star Bubble Set
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars Pack
This Boy title

I love the all the different star chipboard pieces in the 2Crafty range, so on this layout
I used 3 different star chipboards.

Close up of the gorgeous Circular Star Frames and the cute Star Bubble Set.

This layout was made using 49&Market  papers and flowers.

Love

Next up is a layout featuring both my kids.

 2Crafty Chipboard  used:
Elsa Frame
Word Circle Set 1
Ariel's Spray
Chloe's Vines

I coloured the Elsa Frame with an embossing powder in Aged Ivroy,
I then cut the frame in half and placed it under my photo.

I used embossing powder to colour all my chipboard pieces on this layout. On the
Ariel's Spray I used a light purple embossing powder. Then a shabby white powder
on the Love title from the Word Circle Set 1.

On the Chloe's Vines I used 3 different embossing powders. To get the multi colour effect I first used Versamark embossing ink on the chipboard, next I sprinkled the embossing powder in patches until I had all 3 colours on before I heat set the powder. The colours I used were, gold, beige and teal.

This layout was made using 49andMarket papers and flowers.

Thanks for visiting

Bec 💗
