'Trimming the Tree'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to give you some Christmas inspiration,
and I have created a layout for you.

'Trimming the Tree'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout I have used one of the 'Star Bright Snowflakes',
that I have tucked in behind my little houses.

I have also used one of the larger 'St. Nick's Snowflakes',
in front of the houses, both of which I have embossed in a silver glitter.

I also used one of the 'Pine Needle Wreaths'
that I layered with one of the 'Word Circles - Christmas'.

To do this, I have finished the wreath in a white and green,
then I also coloured the circle the same to match,
but I have embossed the words in silver glitter.

I also used one of the snowflakes and stars from the 'Wintery Snowflake Set'.
I embossed both of these with silver glitter finish,
layered the snowflake on the wreath and the star above the little houses.

I am really loving the sparkle of the chipboard snowflakes
and am very happy with how this page turned out.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that this has inspired you to keep creating!

Until next time,

Lisa

'Merry Christmas' CSI Case 267
with Kripa Koushik

Hi friends,

This month 2crafty chipboard is sponsoring the challenge at CSI - Case 267 and this is my take on it.For evidence, I used a background paper with grids, tags in the layers behind the photograph, stars, reindeer, string and lots of Christmas elements. For the testimony Ive documented something about Christmas and put my journaling on a tag.

I started by applying a layer of gesso on all the 2crafty chipboard pieces.

Two of the pieces - mini reindeer and star circular frame are covered
with metallic gold paint from Colourarte.

The Mini Bauble Tree was painted with metallic Teal paint.

This is my favourite part of the layout. I love how beautiful these two pieces
of chipboard look layered over each other. To colour the St. Nicks Snowflake,
I applied stamp pads in shades of green directly on the gessoed piece.
Once heat set, dab a little white gesso to get a distressed look.

Thank you for visiting us today.
Have a great week ahead.
Kripa

Christmas Cards with Kripa Koushik

Hello friends,

My project today is a pair of Christmas cards using a few of the beautiful Christmas
themed 2crafty chipboard pieces.

As always, I started by applying a coat white gesso on all the chipboard pieces. The Xmas Deer Head and St. Nick Snowflakes were coloured using stamp pads. Once the ink dried, the Xmas deer head was stamped over with a script stamp & gold acrylic paint.

For this  card, the Mini Reindeer and St.Nicks Snowflakes were coloured with stamp pads. The Mini Bauble Tree was painted with gold acrylic paint. I cut the snowflake in two and tucked them under the pattern papers.

Thank you for visiting us today.

Sandra's March Tutorials

''Moment''

A black and white layout to create a little felted atmosphere.

2Crafty chipboard list
-Moment Loopy Font
-Circle stack
-Curly Feathers

Here's my tutorial

And some pictures....

I used black pan pastel to add color on my white cardboard.
After, I used stencil and modeling paste to add some words.

I used embossing powder half white and half black on the title ''moment'' and on the "feathers".

For the "Circles", I just painted them with gesso.

You can see that as always, I added some gesso and water drops.

''Journey''

For my second creation this month, a winter one...

2Crafty chipboard list
-St. Nicks Snowflakes
-Linear Snowflakes
-Birds set
-''Journey''

Here's the second tutorial

I played with ink spray on watercolor cardstock.

I used sa tencil with black gesso for the trees. And, as a second step,
I used plastic microsphere half melted to add snow texture.

I painted the title ''Journey'' and the "Birds set" with white and black gesso.

The two kind of "snowflakes" were painted with white gesso.

I also added some gesso+water drops to make an effect of falling snow.

Thanks for stopping by ...
See you back here soon.

December Inspiration by Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty friends, I hope everyone is enjoying all the holiday preparations.
Today's post will be my last for 2 Crafty Chipboard and I want to say that I have
had such fun working with these wonderful chipboards!
It has been a wonderful team to be on and I will miss you all :)
For my December post I wanted to create something wintery
and sparkly with a touch of whimsy.

'Merry Christmas'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Deer Set'
'Merry Christmas Script Card Pack'
'Corner Twisted Vines'
'Holly Vine Wreath'

I couldn't resist adding a piece of the 'Deer Set' that fit my photo perfectly.

With all the pieces I used for this page I painted them white and then while still wet I
sprinkled on some white glitter to make them sparkly.

My second project is a pair of Christmas tags. I love using these as a really special touch
to a wrapped Christmas present. Everyone loves something really unique and handmade.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Mina Frame'
'Corner Holly Vines'
'St. Nick's Snowflakes'

There are so many beautiful Christmas themed chipboard pieces, it's so hard to choose!
For the 'Mina Frame' and the 'Holly Vines' I painted them white and then embossed them
with glittery pink embossing powder, to continue on with a delicate shabby icy theme.

My last project to share is a page I created for a challenge blog called 'Mistress Owl'.

'Peace'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Moroccan Bits'
'Stellar Snowflakes'

Thank you so much Vanessa for having me on the team, I really enjoyed sharing my
work with you all, and I hope I have  inspired you a little!
You can always find me posting my projects on my blog at

Big hugs,
Lisa xo

'Curious' by Lisa Griffith

'Curious'

Hello 2 Crafty friends! I have several projects to share with you today.

 Before we start,...
MONTHLY BLOG FOLLOWERS PRIZE,
to be in the draw for our monthly chippie prize pack,
all you have to do is be a 2Crafty Blog follower and remember to
comment on any of the girls gorgeous inspiration in the month, the more times you
comment, the more chances to WIN!

My first project today is a mixed media layout inspired by this sweet
photo of a girl reading Alice in Wonderland.

Some of my favourite 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces are the panels and borders.
I love to cut them up and use different sections around my layout.

2 Crafty Chipboard products used:
'Diamond Panel'
'Tahnya's Border'

I painted both chip boards with brown ink and then roughly heat
embossed them with metallic embossing powder.

"Gift Bag"

My next project is a kraft brown paper bag that I decorated.
I thought it would be nice to use it to wrap a gift for a friend.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
'Flourish Adornment Set 1'
'St. Nick's Snowflakes'
'Hello Beautiful'

For the title piece and the snowflakes I first painted them with white gesso, then added
some pink gelato,  then I embossed them with aged silver embossing powder.

For the flourish piece I painted it with Lumiere metallic silver paint.
I love how frosty all the chippies look in silver.

My last project is an art journal spread that I created for another team,
but used the beautiful 'Glenda's Swirl' painted with brown ink to add some vintage flair.

Thanks for stopping. Until next time.
