"Those Eyes"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to see you again for the first layout of this month of June.

I was inspired by this title "Those Eyes" and my grandson's eyes.
I know that a granny is not objective but I can't help but fall for this look.

"Those Eyes"

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- "Those Eyes"
- 6 inch Zipper Frames
- Star Bubble Set

To achieve this layout I left my comfort zone a bit, it’s fun from time to time.

I really wanted to use this "Zipper Frames" chipboard and wanted a fun vibe.

After applying a layer of white gesso, I applied embossing powder in different shades of turquoise,
gray blue and green.

I did the same on the "Star Bubble" chipboards.

Next, I arranged the chipboards and other embellishments using my page's background design.

I love these shots that allow us to see the perspective of a layout.

A very simple layout but I had a lot of fun doing it and my grandkids loved it (lol).

Here's another wonderful memory scraped with my favorite chipboards.

See you soon!

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Star bubble set [m00666]

"Beach Please"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello faithful friends of 2crafty!

I present to you my third inspiration for this summer month in France!

I was inspired by the colors of the photo to create my page.
I wanted zenitude in this world always disturbed by these so difficult moments.

I wonder what my little girl is thinking right now.

"beach please"

2Crafty Chipboards used :

- ATC Title Sticks Set 4
- Star Bubble Set
- Winter Twig Branches
- Fishing Net Bits
- Circle Stack

As always, I applied a coat of white gesso to each chipboard.

Which I then covered with a Lindy's Gang "Chalk it up" embossing powder.

CHALK IT UP is an ivory embossing powder speckled with black and gold spots.
I found it looked a lot like the sand on the beach.

I layered a lot of papers so that I could slide the chipboards between them.

For the "Fishing Net Bits" chipboard I applied a blue embossing powder.
By changing the color it also allows you to layer the chipboards.

I love this "Star Bubble Set" chipboard in this page it reminds me of water bubbles!

On the title I just added a little wax.

Without forgetting the flowers of the embellishments to sublimate
with these magnificent chipboards.

Enjoy well and give yourself time to create.

Happiness is this by
Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

I'm still in a very cheery mood as we're having beautiful weather this summer and a great time having fun before it's back-to-school time next week!
Today I'd like to share a layout that fits this mood, featuring my husband eating his favorite candy, sour watermelon slices, wearing his watermelon slice shirt! I prepared a layout with fresh, bright colors to go with the watermelon theme, choosing a palette that I don't often pick for my hubby.

"Happiness is this"

On the "Mini Tags", I applied pink embossing ink and traced the contour with black ink. For the "Stars", I applied jade-green shimmering paint.

For the "Mini Branches", I used two coats of peach embossing powder infused with mini sequins and traced the contour with black ink.

On the "Star Bubble Set", I applied two coats of yellow embossing ink.

For the title, "Happiness is this", I simply applied black paint.

The following 2Crafty chipboards have been used in this layout:
Star Bubble Set [M00666]
Mini Branches [MB013]
Happiness  is this [W00163]
Mini Tags [M00363]
Stars [M00265]

That's all for me today! I hope my layout helped give you some inspiration for your own creations! I'll be back with more ideas soon, wish me good luck for back-to-school week!

"Be yourself"
by Sabrina Turpin

 Hello 2Crafty friends,

Warm weather is finally here in Canada and we can finally enjoy outside activities again! Last summer, my son Liam discovered himself a taste for skateboarding. He has been longing for the moment where he'd be able to jump back on his board for a few months and this moment has finally arrived.

I took this picture and had an inspiration to create a layout that would capture the almost-but-not-yet-pre-teen attitude of my 10 years old boy.

"Be yourself"

I did a lot of work on the "Frame Star with Stars": I started by inking it with blue ink. Then on the center star, I applied diluted navy paint. On the side stars, I applied a white and blue embossing enamel.

On the "Retro panel", behind the picture, I used silver embossing powder and applied black embossing ink on top of it. Then I traced the border with black ink.
For the "Light bulb word set", I applied red embossing ink and put a silver glaze on top of it.

On the "Star Bubble set", I applied red embossing ink then dabbed white embossing ink on top. Finally, I've applied a silver glaze.

For the title, "Be yourself", I used a silver wax and traced the border with black ink.

On this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:
 Frame Star with Stars [FR0030]
Light Bulb word set 1 [M00803]
 Retro Panel [660042]
Star Bubble Set [M00666]
Be yourself  [W00055]

That is all for me today! I hope you enjoyed my creation and that it gave you some inspiration! I'll be back in a few weeks with more ideas to share with you. Until then, have fun creating!

"You are Awesome"
By Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Winter is finally over in the northern hemisphere and snow is slowly starting to melt here in Québec! This means we'll soon be putting our tuque away, enjoy warmer weather, longer days and the return of the color green after many months of endless whiteness outside!

This inspired me to prepare the layout I am revealing today,
using a touch of green to accentuate my monochrome winter layout.

"You Are Awesome"

On the "Robots" chipboards, I used silver embossing powder, used a
green embossing ink on top and traced the contour with black ink.

For the "Star Bubble set", I applied a green paint.

This is another view of the "Star Bubble set".

I used black embossing ink on the title, "You Are awesome",
then applied green embossing ink on top.

The following 2Crafty chipboards were used in this layout:
You are awesome [W00528]
Robots [M00232]
Stars bubbles set [M00666]

I've prepared a short video to show how I assembled the layout:

That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and it gave you some inspiration
for your own creations! See you in two weeks with more ideas.

March Inspiration By Bec

Hi all, today I'm here to share two layouts that I have made this month.

This Boy

I also made a video tutorial for this layout so please enjoy.

First up is my take on a masculine layout with flowers.

2Crafty Chipboard  used:
Star Circular Frames
Star Bubble Set
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars Pack
This Boy title

TO VIEW VIDEO CLICK HERE:

I love the all the different star chipboard pieces in the 2Crafty range, so on this layout
I used 3 different star chipboards.

Close up of the gorgeous Circular Star Frames and the cute Star Bubble Set.

This layout was made using 49&Market  papers and flowers.

Love

Next up is a layout featuring both my kids.

 2Crafty Chipboard  used:
Elsa Frame
Word Circle Set 1
Ariel's Spray
Chloe's Vines

I coloured the Elsa Frame with an embossing powder in Aged Ivroy,
I then cut the frame in half and placed it under my photo.

I used embossing powder to colour all my chipboard pieces on this layout. On the
Ariel's Spray I used a light purple embossing powder. Then a shabby white powder
on the Love title from the Word Circle Set 1.

On the Chloe's Vines I used 3 different embossing powders. To get the multi colour effect I first used Versamark embossing ink on the chipboard, next I sprinkled the embossing powder in patches until I had all 3 colours on before I heat set the powder. The colours I used were, gold, beige and teal.

This layout was made using 49andMarket papers and flowers.

Thanks for visiting

Bec 💗
