'Love is a Four Legged Word'
Layout by Hetty Hall

Hi there friends and welcome to the 2Crafty blog, Hetty with you today.

I have been sitting on this gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard sentiment for a while now
and found the perfect photo to use it with finally.

'Love is a four legged word'

I started this layout by cutting up the 'Fiddle Stick Panel', added copper
embossing powder and arranged it in a random fashion behind my photo.

'Fiddle Stick Panel'

The copper embossing powder put a lovely shine on the panel.

After I arranged some 49 and Market flowers around my photo I used some
of the leaves from the 'Foliage Set 4', painted it with some pearl paint, cut it up
and stuck it amongst my flower clusters.

Here is another close up of the leaves, they are so gorgeous and special!

Last but not least, I again got my scissors out and trimmed up the sentiment -
added more pearl paint and placed the first two words above my photo and the
rest in the bottom right corner of the layout. I think this way the
whole design ties together.

A few little extra touches like art stones and ink splatter were added and there you have it.

Thanks again for stopping by, hope you like my layout.

Until next time.....

'My Gorgeous Nephew'
Layout by Hetty Hall

Hi there 2Crafty fans, Happy New Year and welcome to my first share for 2019 !

Today I would like to share with you a boy layout using some gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard.

'My Gorgeous Nephew'

2Crafty Products Used:
- 6" Mandala
- Word - My Gorgeous Nephew
- ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars Pack
- Arrows Funky

I trimmed the Mandala Chipboard and covered it in black embossing powder.

I love this Mandala Chipboard it is such a gorgeous piece.

Flowers are of course from 49 and Market.

The beautiful chipboard sentiment was also treated with
black embossing powder to tone in with the Mandala.

How cute are the tiny stars covered in some white embossing powder.

I left the little chipboard arrows raw as I didn't want to stand out to much,
I think it works well on this layout.

I really love the 'earthy' colours on this layout and even though I added flowers
and leaves I think I managed to keep it masculine enough to suit the photo.

That is it for me for now but I will be back in a few weeks time.

Until then.....

Hugs

'Amazing Day' layout by Hetty Hall

Hi there 2Crafty friends and welcome once more.

Even though it is the Christmas season and everyone is feeling festive I thought I would just share a layout other then Christmas related.

This one uses a Wedding photo but it could easily be used for any other 'Amazing Day' subject.

'Amazing Day'

Products:
- 'Amazing Day' sentiment
- Wrought Iron Border - large
- Wrought Iron Borders - Medium

I added some opal magic violet-gold to the Wrought Iron Chipboard.

Unfortunately the camera is only picking up on the gold colour.

I layered the chipboard behind my photo and other embellishment as my main feature of the layout. The detail on this chipboard is so amazing I wanted to make sure it stood out from the rest.

Because I used a wedding photo for this layout I picked up some nice pieces of lace to represent the stunning wedding dress.

The 2Crafty Chipboard sentiment was coloured with some soft pink paint, again to pick up on some colours in the photo as well as some of the other embellishments used.

The flowers and laser cuts are of course from 49 and Market and were layered on top of the chipboard with some foam squares to add dimension.

And that is it for me for this month.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Will hopefully see you all again in 2019.

Until next year.....

Hugs

Christmas Inspiration by Hetty Hall

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog post.

Today I would like to share with you a Christmas layou.

'Joy'

This month 2Crafty Chipboard is a sponsor for CSI: Colour, Stories, Inspiration challenge and I am one of the lucky DT ladies who got to play along as Guest Detective

The scene for this month's Case File:

To copy the colour scheme I had some issues as I couldn't find any Christmas related papers in those colours so I went for the love struck collection by Authentique which I think worked well for this layout.

From the evidence I chose to use 2Crafty elements: stars, snowflakes/winter elements, animals (deer), Christmas elements (Holly Leaves) and for the testimony I chose the title word 'Joy'.

I added some silver embossing powder to the holly leaves and snow flakes and white embossing powder to the title, stars ad hearts and date to tone in with the other colours.

Other elements from the evidence are dots, grid pattern, more hearts, string, numbers, tag and from the testimony I added journaling to the tag which is tucked behind the photo mat as well as the photo is documenting the joy of the holidays.

Flowers are from 49 and Market and the stargazers make perfect poinsettia flowers.

Product List:
- Star Circular Frames
- Deer Set
- Fine Snow Flakes
- Holly Twig
- Christmas Card Words
- ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars pack
- 2018 Date Chipboard

And there you have it, I hope you enjoyed today's blog post.

Until next time......

'Life is Short Take the Journey' layout by Hetty Hall

Good morning 2Crafty fans and welcome to the blog!

Today I created this layout with a bit of a beach theme but I think it would work well for any photo.

I played with a bit of colour and used some sprays for the background. Flowers and paper are of course from 49 and Market.

Products Used:
- Fishing Net Bits
- Fern Leaf Set
- Life is Short Word Sentiment

I love the 'Fishing Net Bits', I think they make the perfect background for this photo. I added some gold embossing powder and a little bit of silver wax to highlight.

The sentiment is gorgeous, I love the fonts used and that is why I kept it simple by just adding some white embossing powder, I think it stands out nicely amongst all the colour.

I also separated the word 'Journey' from the rest of the title so I was able to place it on the layout in two different spots, I think it balanced it out perfectly.

Last but not least I added the 'Fern Leaves', again keeping them simple and white to match the title and tucked them amongst my flowers. Finished it all off with some art stones and 3D gel.

That is it again from me for now. Thank you so much for popping in.

Until next time.....

Hugs
