Cherish the moment by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

I hope you are doing good! Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my daughter Mila.
How times flies by. It seems like yesterday she was still a little girl, but today I look at
her and see how much she's grown into a sweet pre-teenager!

"Cherish the moment"

For the "6 Circle Revolution Frames", I used 2 coats of sandy pink paint and inked the
borders in black. On "Love you million", part of "6x4 Phrase stick set 4", I applied
copper embossing ink and rubbed a bit of black ink on top of it.

On the "Heidi Vines", I applied some ivory embossing enamel.

For the title, "Cherish the Moments", I used 2 coats of black glittering paint.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

6" Circle revolution frames [660030]
Heidi's Vines [M00156]
6x4 Phrases sticks Set 4 [M00873]
Cherish the moments [W00076]

That's all for me today!
I hope you enjoyed my layout and that it gave you some inspiration for your own creations.
I'll be back in a few weeks with more ideas to share with you!
See you soon and take care!

"Oh What Fun" Christmas Inspiration
By Karan Gerber

Hello friends.
Welcome to my first post for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  For my first project
I thought I would do an "off the page" wall hanging titled "Oh What Fun".

The base of it is on a 8"x8" corrugated cardboard backed on thick chipboard
so it can be set on a plate stand. Perfect for holiday decor.

All of the chipboard pieces were gessoed prior to adding my color.

After the gesso was dry, I added a coat of Cosmic Shimmer
to the sentiment and the Mandala.

I cut the Mandala in half and placed a piece on either side of my paper layers.
I also added some gold antique wax on random areas to highlight the piece.
Some frosting powder was added to blend in with the details on the project.

The lattice leaves and Leafy shrub were prepped the same way,

I used two of the leaves from the Leafy shrub piece and I cut them apart
so I can add them under my flower layers throughout my project.

I hope you have enjoyed my first project with 2crafty Chipboard today,
& I look forward to inspiring you this coming year.

May Inspiration and a Picture Tutorial with Debbie

Hi everyone,
Debbie here with you today with my May projects.
On my side of the world it is Spring.  We've had some unusually cold weather lately and
lots of rain.  This week is set though to be a beautiful one with sun and lots of warmer days.

My Happy Place

I love when Spring arrives, as it is that time of the year to start working outside in my flower gardens.  I always get annual plants from my son for Mothers Day.  I find gardening very peaceful and love the end results.  The picture is from my front flower garden a few years ago. Love the geraniums and my ceramic bunnies!  Lots of flowers and 2Crafty Chipboard!!!

I've prepared a step by step picture tutorial for you to view.

Step 1

Emboss 6" Circle Revolution chipboard with antique taupe embossing powder.
Matt photo and adhere chipboard circle and photo to the layout.

Step 2

Emboss Ivy Clusters and Leafy Rounds with a mixture of verdant and sage
embossing powders.  Adhere to page along with some lace.

Step 3

Place flowers to the left of the photo.

Step 4

Place flowers to the right of the photo.

Step 5

Emboss title "My happy place" with antique taupe embossing powder and glue down.

Step 6

Add art stones to mimic the stones in the picture.

For my second layout I chose a picture of my grandparents.

Cherish The Moments

I applied three different mists on the background, brown, teal and tea stain along w
ith some paint splatters.  Lots of flowers and lovely 2Crafty Chipboard!

Lattice Leaves
Sharon's Butterflies
Cherish the moments
Festive Vine

I embossed the Festive Vine with some brown and turquoise embossing powders.
I cut it into pieces and used the pieces on various places on my layout.

At the top you see a piece of the Festive Vine.  I also placed one of the Clock Face Frames embossed with brown and antique taupe embossing powders.  The Sharon's Butterfly was
embossed with a mixture of  auburn and brown embossing powders.

At the base of my photo is another piece from the Festive Vine.  Beneath the flower
to the left I placed Lattice Leaves embossed with verdant embossing powder.

My title was embossed with a mixture of antique taupe and brown embossing powders.
To finish off my layout I added brown and copper microbeads.

I  hope I have inspired you today.
Thanks for stopping !

January Layouts by Kavitha

Hello friends,
Kavitha here today to share two layouts with you.

"Believe in Miracles"

For my first layout, I chose a soft pastel colour palette.
I used beautiful chippies to create the floral arrangement around the picture.

First I gave a coat of white gesso to all the chipboard pieces,
& I colored some of them and left some of them white.
I trimmed off the "Viney Page Frame" and used
around the floral arrangement.

You can see in the photo above how I've combined the pieces.

"Cherish the Moment"

My second layout is soft shabby one against a black background.
I used beautiful flourishes from 2crafty to
create the composition.

I heat embossed the chippies with black and white embossing powders.
The butterflies are colored with watercolors.
