Emma with you all today on the blog.
Today I share a magical 9"x12" Layout with you all.

This layout features some stunning chipboard!
Clock Face discs
Florence Swirl set
10" Decorative Doily 1

I was a little nervous using such a large piece of chipboard with the doily, and wanted to do it justice. I I knew I really wanted to antique it up. I applied a crackle paste and allowed it to dry naturally. Once that was dry I then applied a combination of Oxide inks and ink sprays to add the colour tints.

Love how the colour seeped in through the cracks. Once the colour was dry, I lightly rubbed a copper wax over the surface just to grab some of the texture.

I then prepped the other 2 pieces, the clock face and swirl, with black Gesso.
Once dry, I then applied a couple of waxes to illuminate them yet compliment the large doily.

Once these pieces were all ready, I then layered them into my layers and visual story.

I loved taking my time creating this layout and love the feel of the end result.

“Together” A Happy Life Layout by Jenny J.

Hello everyone!

I'm here to show you my last creation with 2Crafty.

Now you'll see which 2Crafty Chippies I've used ...

*Mini title stick set 3

*Foliage set 6

*6" clock face frames

*Together

Below, there is a close-up of my focal point...

I've painted the "Clock face frames" pieces with 

textured paints from Finnabair to give them a patina effect.

The 3 pieces are treated the same way.

The title, "Together", is simply painted in black.

On my picture, I love to add a "Mini title stick set 3" chippies 

to enhance the idea behind my creative process.

Here, that chippie is also painted in black but with a touch of bronze wax.

As I love to end my process with flowers and embellishments clusterings, 

I love to insert some delicate foliage chipboards.

Here, they are "Foliage set 6", treated with a spray from Lindy's.

'Gorgeous' August Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!

It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty inspiration with you.

I have a layout that I have created using a photo of my daughter and her friend,

 with their flower crowns on.

2Crafty Chipboard Products used:

I have started by giving my page a bit of a mixed media background.

I have also done a bit of fussy cutting of my papers.

I layered some of my papers and fussy cut elements.

 I have then added a couple of the 'Leafy Shrub Set 2',

that I have heat embossed in white. 

I have layered one of each side of my photo, among my papers and flowers.

I have also used one of the 'Element Set 1', again heat embossed in white.

I have cut it in half and layered one to the left side and one to the top of my page.

On the right side, I have used the smallest clock from the '6 inch Clock Face Frames',

again finished in white and layered in among the fussy cut elements.

For my title I have used one of the words from the 'Fine Word Set 2',

again finished in white to match the rest of my pieces. 

I'm very happy with how this layout came together, 

the chipboard pieces worked perfectly with the feel of my layout. 

I hope that you like what I have created,

 and that it inspires you to find some crafty time today.

July Inspiration : Art Journal PLUS Video tutorialBy Kripa Koushik

'What if I fail? But, Oh Darling, What if you Fly?'

Hello friends,

My second project for this month is an art journal page...

To begin, one piece each from the sets  
12" Clock face frames 
6" Clock face frames 
 Cog Nested frames 
was glued down and covered with black gesso. All the violet colored chipboard 
pieces were first coated with black gesso. All the rest were covered with white gesso.

I layered the chipboard pieces over and under tags cut out of pattern paper. To add dimension,

 I've popped the flower doilies on top of the chipboard circles that are the negative

 from the clock face sets.

"March Inspiration" by Kareen Dion

Hello everyone! 

It's my turn this month to inspire you!

To get out of this boring snowy winter, I decided to make a layout of my little cat Chester and I.

I used Groovy Flowers, Glenda's Swirls, Because When You Stop title 

and Asst Arrows chipboards....

The title "Because When You Stop" is embossed with the frantage embossing powder,
I love them because they give several tones!! I love the result!

The Glenda's Swirls and Groovy Flowers are also embossed with black powder.
 I added gold glitter on them to enlighted the chipboards.

I also embossed with the frantage the little arrow from the Asst Arrows.

For my second layout, I did a simple layout with less dimensions.

As my background paper was more intense, I did not want to lose it.

I used the Clock Face Frames, the Asst Arrows and the Line Words - Happiness Borders.

The Clock Face Frames is white embossed to contrast with the background.

The "Good Day" Line Words - Happiness Borders is embossing with
embossing powder and I added a little bit of white gesso on it.

And to finish  my layout I used the Asst Arrows. It's super versatile, I love them!
