Click Capture - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
I am back today to share a mixed media layout I created!

2Crafty Products used;

Frame Chained Circles
Steampunk Gears Small
Giant Gears
Click Capture Title
Steampunk Collage
Aztec Arrows
Wavy Filmstrip Border
Filmstrips Small
Hanging Steampunk Lightbulb

After prepping the paper with clear gesso then added some inked images with a stencil I used texture paste on the chipboard pieces

I then began layering colours with Finnabair green and grey from the Golden hour pack, brusho orange and Magical tibetan poppy teal powders

I then began layering the chipboard with resin elements, flowers and coloured art stones.

For the title piece I inked it with peeled paint and then heat embossed it with sage embossing powder.

Enjoy The Journey - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!

Back today to share a layout I created of our oldest sons purchase of a 1977 Corvette.

2Crafty Products used:

Mini Chunky bits
Grungy Splatter Bits
Harlequin clumps
Brick Panel
Frame Chained Circle
Enjoy The Journey
Mini Numbers Panel
Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster

I always begin by prepping my chipboard with gesso - either clear or white

I then begin spraying different shades of grey and bit of black mists to create the effect I wanted.

I inked the pieces with black ink on the outside so when I layered all the pieces there was
still definition of each piece.

I had added some red tickets from my stash to coordinate with the cars red interior and wanted
the title to stand out a bit so I inked it with lumberjack plaid ink and embossing powder.

"Tons of Fun with SpongeBob SquarePants"
Layout
with Amy Voorthuis

 Good morning lovely 2Crafty friends.
How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty blog.
In our summer vacation we went to movie park Germany with the kids as Abbey loves SpongeBob SquarePants & Paw Patrol and Kevin loves rollercoasters and scary stuff. We went there for two days with a sleep in a hotel nearby, we had a lot of fun seeing our kids this happy. Off course Abbey wanted to be on a picture with SpongeBob and I wanted to scrap that right away so I did!
Enjoy my post....

Tons of Fun with SpongeBob SquarePants:

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
Frame Chained Circles
Filmstrips Medium
Hinges Pack
Mini Title Stick Set 3
Foliage Set 16
Fine Word Set Months
Word Circle Set 2
2025's

All the chipboard pieces but the word "august" & "foliage set 16" are altered with black gesso then I added some yellow acrylic paint on the filmstrip and top part of the circle "tons of fun"with a sponge on the other pieces I added some sea glass metallique wax and white gesso. The word august is just altered with some white acrylic paint without a primer like gesso.

Behind the tons of fun circle I placed a piece of paper the same as the middle part of my layout. The foliage set 16 I just used my twinmarkers on and later added some white acrylic paint. The phrase that smile from the mini title stick set 3 I added some white faber castell pen on to make it pop a little more.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....
