Blissful Times Cards by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for August.  I have created a set of cards.

"Blissful Times Cards"

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Ginny's Flourish Set
*Word Circle 1
*Tiny Henri's Frames
*Tiny Kathleen's Frames

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous Mintay Blissful Times Paper Collection.Just love the colours in this collection.  I used a variety of the Art Alchemy Waxes to colour the chippie pieces including Rose Gold, White Gold and Royal Robes

To construct each of the cards I added one of each of either the Henri's or Kathleen's Frames to each card.  I embellished each card with fussy cut elements and flowers and then tucked in some of the chippie Ginni's flourishes pieces to each.  I added a Word Circle chippie and to finish each card I added a Happy Birthday Sentiment.

See each card below.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Blissful Times Cards.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

A Glimpse of You Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania with you today to share the second of my DT projects for July.
I have created a layout.

"A Glimpse of You"

2 Crafty Chipboard Products Used:

*A Glimpse of You
*Flourish Adornment Set 6
*Brick Panel
*Kathleen's Tiny Frame

I coloured the Brick Panel, Kathleen's Tiny Frame and Flourish Adornment Set 6 Chipboard with Art Alchemy White Pearl Paint and the A Glimpse of You Title with Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink.

I positioned my photo where I wanted it on the page.  I then cut up the Brick Panel Chipboard and tucked pieces in and around the torn patterned paper and photo.  I added flower clusters to the top left and bottom right of the photo.

I tucked a Flourish Adornment Chipboard piece into each of the flower clusters and a Tiny Kathleen's Frame into the bottom flower cluster.  I finished off the page by adding the A Glimpse of You title to the bottom left of the photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Some Sunshine & Nature
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some sunshine and nature with you,
all without you leaving home!

2Crafty Products used:

The sunshine and nature are in the form of a set of cards that I have created.

I have used some natural tones, splashed with some pops of yellow,
so I have kept my chipboard raw, to keep with the nature feels ;)

I have used one of the 'Frames Tiny Kathleen's'
that I have layered with a sentiment.

I have also used one of the leaves from the 'Foliage Set 6',
tucked into the side.

I have also used one of the larger pieces from the 'Element Set 1',
that I have adhered a butterfly to the centre of.

For my second card I have kept with the same tones and feel.
I have used another of the 'Element Set 1',
this time tucked into the layers of my card.

I have also used one of the 'ATC Georgian Frames',
layered with another butterfly.

I have then also used one of the 'Foliage Set 6',
alongside the frame.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that these cards have brought a bit of sunshine to your day!

Until next time!

Lisa

"Capture" - By Bec Genet

Hi all,
Today it is my turn to share my first layout for May.
This time I have a very soft and delicate layout for you.
These type of girly layouts are my favorite kind to make.

"Capture"

Here is the 2Crafty Chipboard I used:
Mini Word Set 1
Angel Wings
Holly Vine Borders
Frames Tiny Kathleen's

I have left my background fairly plain for this layout, just
adding white paste through two different stencils.

I prepped all the chipboard with white gesso before adding colour. On the Holly Vine Borders
I used the Prima Opal Magic Paint in Blue-Gold, I then added a rhinestone trim down
the center of the border.

On the Frames Tiny Kathleen's I used the Prima Metallique Paint in Vintage Rose. For
the Title and the Angel Wings pieces I added just a very light coat of the Treasure colour
from the Prima Shimming Lights watercolour set.

I embellished my layout with lots of flowers, lace, die cut leaves,
doily, bird molds and splashes of white gesso.

Thanks for visiting

Bec

March Layouts + Process Video
With Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty people!!

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you all.

My first layout is featuring a photo of my son conquering some rocks at the beach.

"Explore"

For this layout I have used a bit of mixed media and stamping on
my white cardstock base. Lots of splatters :)

I have cut up pieces of the 'Fencing Wire Panel'
which I have embossed in black
and then slightly in some areas with gold embossing powder.

I have used them amongst my layers.

I have also used some of the
'Triangles Set',
which I have lightly sponged with gesso.
I have then used watercolours to slightly colour them,
in colours that coordinate with my papers

I have also used the word explore from the
'Mini Travel Word Set 1',
as my title.

Some close ups...

I have layered my chipboard triangles with triangles that I have cut from my papers.

For my next layout I have gone all out girly lol

This layout features my gorgeous (now adult) daughter, on a recent day out.

"Love"

There are a lot of details in this layout....

For this layout I have used the stunning, and my favourite piece EVER...
pieces of the 'Parisian Border',
that I have cut up and used around my photo.

I have used metallic rose gold wax to colour my chipboard.

I have also used a few of the
'Lattice Leaves',
also coloured in rose gold wax.

More of the leaves and border :)

I have also used one of the locks from the 'Keyholes and Locks' set.

Lastly I have used one of the
  'Frames Tiny Kathleen's'
that I have cut in half and used on either side of my photo.

I'm never quite sure where a layout is going to end up when I start,
there is usually no plan in mind. But I'm quite happy with the end result.

Now, there is a process video for this layout,
but I will warn you that it is on the long side.

You can watch it below...
