I love this photos of our oldest!

I painted each chipboard piece with gesso then added aqua or yellow paint.

I let the paint dry then added peacock feathers distress spray stain, Finnabair teal mica powder from the golden hour set spritzed with water and magicals Tibetan poppy teal also spritzed with water

Lots of layers!

'You are AWESOME' By Rachael Funnell

 

Hello 2 Crafty fans!

Today I have this masculine, mixed media, grungy page

that features my son.  I hope inspires You in someway...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

You are Awesome

Deer head

6"circled barb wire frame(the smaller frames)

2020

Wing Set 2

ATC- Arrows

Square barbed wire frame

Starting with the Wing I have sitting out from some paper layers,

I have left moslty raw with adding just a little gesso to the tips 

of the wing for a little more interest...

For my title - You are awesome , 2020 & the ATC - Arrows

 I kept it fairly simple, but effective, by giving all these

 chipboards a couple coats of gesso...

With the Deer head, again keeping it simple and 

inking with a very similar colour to the raw chipboard,

using the Tim Holtz - Frayed Burlap...

For the circled barb wire frame, Square barbed wire

Inking them all with black & then cutting the square barbed wire frame 

into smaller pieces & the Circles frames in half and gluing them down..

"You Are Awesome" By Tammy Klingner

Hello there!

Tammy here today to share my latest....

 A layout documenting my son's first job!!

Yep he is awesome!

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

"Assorted Arrows"

"Aidan's Arrows"

"You are awesome title"

"Aztec Arrows Set 1"

I began by using the "Aidan's Arrows" as a stencil.

I placed them randomly on the page and then added some spritz.

When I lifted them up, they had left a cool background pattern.

I then added a few splodges of paint to the pieces of "Aidan's Arrows"

 Chipboard to give it a grungy look.

Such a cool way to use chipboard - a 2 for 1 technique!!

I applied white gesso to a few of the "Assorted Arrows" and then added a
few layers of spritz and ink until I'd achieved the colour I was after.

I then added these randomly to the layout.

I applied the same technique to the 'awesome' part of the "You are Awesome" Title.

To the reminder of the title, I added black paint.

It gave a nice grungy contrast.

Finally, I added black paint to one of the arrows from the NEW "Aztec Arrows Set 1".

I LOVE everything about this piece of chippy!!

The size, the style.

Just gorgeous!!

A grungy boy layout this time.

Hello to all!

Today I want to show you my new project for our collaboration with CSI blog.

2Crafty is one of the sponsors of their challenge this month.

"You Are Awesome"

I solved the case by using the colour scheme from the scene.
My evidence includes:..

Dark background, Frames, Flowers, Transparent items, Book pages/text pattern

I made a voluminous and dynamic layout filled 

with fantasies and snatches of dreams.

A painting by Christian School helped me to create my project.

 I literally fell in love with her work! 

This amazing talented artist creates such beautiful paintings. 

I want to craft them all!

Chipboard covered with embossing powder and a little pretenious wax by Prima.

'You are Awesome' June Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

Hello, 2Crafty fans! 

It's Lisa here today to share my latest creation with you. 

I have created a layout featuring my son.

'You are Awesome' 

2Crafty Chipboard products used:

 For this layout, I have used a mix of our chipboard designs. 

I have started with the 'Steampunk Collage' piece, 

that I am so in love with!

I have embossed it first with black embossing powder,

then giving it a coat of aged gold,

being careful to not cover all of the black.

I have also used some of the 'Diamond Chunk Bits',

that I have given the same finish.  

I have then added one of the 'Light Bulbs',

which I have embossed in black,

except for the filament, which is aged gold.

I have used more of the 'Diamond Chunk Bits',

 layered into my clusters.

Lastly, I have used the 'You are Awesome' title,

which I have embossed in black. 

 I am really happy with the way it turned out.

"You are Awesome" By Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Winter is finally over in the northern hemisphere and snow is slowly starting to melt here in Québec! This means we'll soon be putting our tuque away, enjoy warmer weather, longer days and the return of the color green after many months of endless whiteness outside!

This inspired me to prepare the layout I am revealing today,
using a touch of green to accentuate my monochrome winter layout. 

"You Are Awesome"

On the "Robots" chipboards, I used silver embossing powder, used a

 green embossing ink on top and traced the contour with black ink.

For the "Star Bubble set", I applied a green paint.

This is another view of the "Star Bubble set".

I used black embossing ink on the title, "You Are awesome",

 then applied green embossing ink on top.
