#adore Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am lucky to meet you for a third layout for this month of October.

I made an arrangement very different from my habits 

but sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone. 

I chose this photo of my grandson Leo for his little face but also 

for the cloudy background.

The 2CraftyChipboard used:

- Hashtag Word Set 1

- Numbers Panels

- Steampunk Strips

- Squiggly Strips Set 1

- Hinges Pack 

This time I put black gesso on each chipboard!

Then I applied waxes in different colors to get the shade I liked.

I usedI used "Bronze Age" "Lucky Emerald" and "Turquoise Satin".

I love these "Steampunk Strips" and "Squiggly Strips" particle boards 

they have a lot of character.

I have placed the "Numbers Panels" chipboard prominently.

For more relief on the agglomerates I added a design with a stamp and embossing powder.

I chose this title with the hashtag it's original. Perfect for my layout.

To support the title I added a chipboard from the "Hinges Pack".

Although, different from my habits, 

I hope this layout has given you some inspiration.

#LOVE Layout and Video by Marie Sabatier

Hello, I hope you are all well, here in France the pandemic 

is getting worse and we fear a third confinement is scary.

But fortunately the scrapbook is there to forget this worrying situation for a moment.

For this new page, I wanted to use this wonderful "Steampunk Circle Frame" 

and this photo of Leo my grandson.

I chose this paper for the colors in harmony with the background of my photo.

And I also made a video!

- Circle Stack

- Steampunk Gears Medium

- Light Bulb Word Set 1

Here are some close-ups, but feel free to watch the video for more details.

As always, I applied a layer of gesso to each chipboard.

On the "Steampunk Circle Frame" particle board, I applied a first coat of shiny 

metallic ink in the color "Hematite" then a second coat of "Turquoise" color

Then several shades of metallic wax until I got the effect I wanted.

I used the "Circle Frame" chipboard for support.

For the "Steampunk Gears Medium and Small" chipboards 

I applied lighter shades to contrast.

On the "Circle Stack" and "Light Bulb" chipboards, I applied a coat of black gesso 

then "Red Amber" antique shine wax.

For the title I proceeded in the same way.

I added yellow paper embellishments to brighten it up.

Hello 2 Crafty fans!

Rach with you sharing my newest creation, 

A masculine page featuring my boy 

and have included some GREAT chipboard pieces...

The #HANDSOME word and the Medium gears

 have been inked with firebrick red..

The snapshot of you, has been light coat of gesso...

The Deer head was inked with gold..

 Steampunk 6" Circle frame 

have been given a couple of coates of gesso...

then cutting the 6" frame into two pieces!

Lastly!! The Clock face disc,

 Fancy clock face hands

and Steampunk strips

all have been inked with black....

Sticking with the paper colour scheme 

I have inked the #BEAUTY  word

 using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide 

- Dusty Concord (purple) 

The Beautiful Turkish Lantern

firstly removed the chain link

putting it aside for another project..

Inking the Lantern with a metalic silver,

then ever so lightly, parts with a royal blue ink...

The 12" Baroque Lace border & 

the ATC - Tiny Butterflies have all

couple of coats of gesso...

 then cutting the 

12" Baroque Lace border in half 

and adhering with glue...

Attaching the SUPER CUTE butterflies

with foam tape..

And lastly the Fine leaf bush 

First inking this with Tim Holtz 

Distress Oxide - Lucky clover (green)

then cutting it up into smaller pieces & 

placing them thoughout my flower clusters...

'Adore'

Hi there and welcome to the 2Crafty Blog', Hetty with you today.

 2Crafty products used:

- Steampunk strips

- Steampunk Gears Medium

- Hashtag word set 1

Who says you Can't use flowers on a boy layout? I think these
 gorgeous flowers from '49 and Market' are just perfect.

I teamed the flowers up with the 'Steampunk strips and gears'
which has given it a real masculine look.

I added pewter embossing powder to the 'Steampunk strips'
and black embossing powder to the 'Gears'.

I kept the sentiment pretty simple, added white Gesso and white embossing powder.

Some art stones finished it all off and added some extra texture.

February Inspiration by Bec

Hi everyone.
Today I have my February projects that I made with the gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard to share with you. This month I made a layout and a canvas, plus I also have my layout made for the CSI case file #248.

#Beauty

First up is my layout, I love circles so I've used 2 different Circle frame sets on this page.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used:

Lucy's Flourish Frame

6" Circle Revolution Frames

Leafy Twig Branches

I used the 2 smallest frames from the 6" Circle Revolution Frame Set, the larger one to frame one photo and the smallest I cut in half and placed on the edges of the layout. I coated the frames in white gesso before I coloured them with a yellow watercolor .

I also coated the Lucy's Flourish Frame in white gesso first and then I added colour using a Twinkling H20 in Plum Blossom. 

I coloured the title #Beauty and the Leafy Twig Branches with Lindy's Gang Magicals, on the title I used the colour Salt Water Taffy and on the branches I used Sea Mint Green. I cut the Branches into little pieces and tucked in under my flowers.

Timeless Canvas

Next up is a soft and delicate canvas. The Brickwork panel was perfect for this canvas and it goes so well paired with lots of flowers.

Indian Feathers

I wanted to colour the Brickwork panel to match the colour of the shutters, I used the Lindy's Gang embossing powder in Golden Angel Wings on the raw chipboard to give it a shine. Then I randomly added some white gesso on top to tone down the colour and give a more shabby look. 

For the title from the Fine Word Set 2 and the Gemma's Corner pieces I primed with white gesso before I coloured them with Prima Aryclic paint in Vintage Rose.

I used the Indian Feathers more as leaves on this canvas, they are such versitle pieces. I primed them with white gesso before adding a light teal embossing powder. The Indian feathers have very fine detail lines on them so only apply a very light coat of gesso with a sponge so the lines don't get covered up.

My final layout today is made for the latest CSI case file #248 which 2Crafty is sponsoring this month.

On this layout I left the background plain as I used gorgeous foil paper that didn't need anything extra added. All the chipboard pieces were coloured with Gelatos. Gelatos are an amazing and easy way to alter chipboard, I always coat the chipboard pieces in white gesso first so the colours of the Gelatos stand out more. 

I used the largest frame from the 6" Circle Revolution Frames pack and coloured this with the Silver Ice Gelato.  I had left over bits from the Circle Lace Panel that I coloured in a Chocolate Gelato

The Swaying Branches were coloured in the Pistashio Gelato, 

The Life Documented title was mainly left with the white gesso but I added a little Bubble Gum Gelato to the edges. The Sharon's Butterflies were left white in the centers and the wings were coloured with the Bubble Gum and Guava Gelatos
