"Princess"
A layout with a video tutorial by Marie Sabatier

Hello everybody,

I'm back to present you my second inspiration of this month of February
accompanied by a video tutorial.

It's so cold and gray right now and I wanted to create a layout
soft and flowery "Shabby Chic" trend.

With Mia we had a photo shoot.
She laughs it was really fun to share these moments with her.

"High Maintenance Princess in the Making"

The 2CraftyChipboard used:

- "High Maintenance Princess in the Maintenance"
- Mini Decorative Frame Set 4
- Mini Decorative Frame Set 1
- Sissor Set of 2
- Corner Gemma
- Flowers Doilies 3

Here are some close-ups, but feel free to watch the video for more details.

To diversify, I used three photos on this layout.
I cut two of them to frame them in the "Mini Decorative Frame Set 4" chipboards.

I found it amusing to position them like this.

After applying a coat of white gesso to each particle board,
I finger-rubbed Bronze Age and Vintage Silk waxes.

I then positioned my photos and created my clusters of embellishments while inserting the chipboards that I find perfect for my "Shabby chic" theme.

For the title I applied a 3D paint without letting it dry to get a cracked effect.

I hope you can watch the video, feel free to leave your comments.

Thanks again.
Good scrap to you.

"One Love One Dream One Heart"
by Marie Sabatier

I'm back with a second inspiration for February. A page in color.

I chose this photo of my beautiful daughter and grand-daughter Mia, taken
during a photo shoot taken a few days after the birth of my little grand-daughter.
 Immortalized these wonderful moments

2Crafty Chipboard used :
- Word title - one love title
-  Ava's frame
- Corner Gemma

Some close-ups...

For this page I worked the chipoboards in the same way.

I applied a coat of white gesso, then I inked color "Queen of hearts red"
and then I added gold-colored wax.

I chose this colour to suit the layout and because the chipboard shines on the page.

The 2-tone effect really is so beautiful and the gold gives it a special grand touch.

So lovely to include the fine and flowing pieces, that
celebrate the delicate nature of the layout.

I hope you have liked my layout today.

See you soon with more inspiration with
 these wonderful chipboards.

Until then.....

February Inspiration by Bec

Hi everyone.
Today I have my February projects that I made with the gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard to share with you. This month I made a layout and a canvas, plus I also have my layout made for the CSI case file #248.

#Beauty

First up is my layout, I love circles so I've used 2 different Circle frame sets on this page.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used:
Lucy's Flourish Frame
6" Circle Revolution Frames
Hashtag Word Set 1
Leafy Twig Branches

I used the 2 smallest frames from the 6" Circle Revolution Frame Set, the larger one to frame one photo and the smallest I cut in half and placed on the edges of the layout. I coated the frames in white gesso before I coloured them with a yellow watercolor .

I also coated the Lucy's Flourish Frame in white gesso first and then I added colour using a Twinkling H20 in Plum Blossom.

I coloured the title #Beauty and the Leafy Twig Branches with Lindy's Gang Magicals, on the title I used the colour Salt Water Taffy and on the branches I used Sea Mint Green. I cut the Branches into little pieces and tucked in under my flowers.

Papers, flowers and embellishments from the Prima Lavender collection.

Timeless Canvas

Next up is a soft and delicate canvas. The Brickwork panel was perfect for this canvas and it goes so well paired with lots of flowers.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used:
Brick Panel
Gemma's Corners
Fine Word Set 2
Indian Feathers

I wanted to colour the Brickwork panel to match the colour of the shutters, I used the Lindy's Gang embossing powder in Golden Angel Wings on the raw chipboard to give it a shine. Then I randomly added some white gesso on top to tone down the colour and give a more shabby look.

For the title from the Fine Word Set 2 and the Gemma's Corner pieces I primed with white gesso before I coloured them with Prima Aryclic paint in Vintage Rose.

I used the Indian Feathers more as leaves on this canvas, they are such versitle pieces. I primed them with white gesso before adding a light teal embossing powder. The Indian feathers have very fine detail lines on them so only apply a very light coat of gesso with a sponge so the lines don't get covered up.

Papers and flowers from the Prima Love Story Collection.

Life Documented

My final layout today is made for the latest CSI case file #248 which 2Crafty is sponsoring this month.

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used:

Life Documented
6" Circle Revolution Frames
Sharon's Butterflies
Circle Lace Panel
Swaying Branches

And the CSI Case file #248

On this layout I left the background plain as I used gorgeous foil paper that didn't need anything extra added. All the chipboard pieces were coloured with Gelatos. Gelatos are an amazing and easy way to alter chipboard, I always coat the chipboard pieces in white gesso first so the colours of the Gelatos stand out more.

I used the largest frame from the 6" Circle Revolution Frames pack and coloured this with the Silver Ice Gelato.  I had left over bits from the Circle Lace Panel that I coloured in a Chocolate Gelato

The Swaying Branches were coloured in the Pistashio Gelato,
The Life Documented title was mainly left with the white gesso but I added a little Bubble Gum Gelato to the edges. The Sharon's Butterflies were left white in the centers and the wings were coloured with the Bubble Gum and Guava Gelatos

Papers from the Prima Heaven Sent 2 Collection

November Projects & Video Tutorial
By Lilibleu

Hello everybody !!

Today, it's my turn to share with you my November projects.
Both are feminine and flowery pages, though in two very different worlds.

For the first project - for which I also made a video showing you the stages of its
creation - I wanted to work on a winter theme, a frozen ambience using pink,
 blue and white colors.

"Once Upon a Dream"

2crafty chipboard used:

Once upon a dream Title
Linear snowflake
Majestic Reindeers
Elsa frame
- Fine word set 2
ATC words 1

Close-ups:

Before I start, I covered my page with transparent gesso.

I embossed the title with pink powder.

The "Elsa framechipboard is embossed with blue powder.

I really like the design of this little deer, I embossed it in white. The word
"Imagine" comes from the "ATC words 1set, I really like the size of this writing
which is perfect for mixing well with my background.

"Linear snowflake" flakes are simply embossed in white. I love the finesse of the
word "Timeless" - coming from the "Fine word set 2set - which is perfect for the
 theme of my work.
