'Awesome' with Lisa Amiet

 Hello, fellow 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.
I have created a super fun boy layout using some of my favourite 2Crafty pieces.

2Crafty Chipboard products used:

For this page, I have used a base paper that already had my mixed media added,

so I have based my design around this. 

I have used one of the very cool 'Number Panels',

which I have embossed in a glossy, bright turquoise to match my colour scheme. 

I have also used one of the 'View Finders' just tucked 

under the corner of the photo, which I embossed in a gorgeous ocean blue.

I have then layered a piece of 'Aidan's Arrows', also embossed in turquoise,

onto the view finder.

For my corner cluster, I have layered elements from my papers,

along with two of the 'Aidan's Arrows',

each embossed in the same blues as the other pieces, 

which I have overlapped for dimension.

I really love using all the little elements and layers from my papers,

along with my chipboard, to add interest to my pages.

I LOVE how this one turned out. I have so much fun with boy pages.

"You Are Awesome" By Tammy Klingner

Hello there!

Tammy here today to share my latest....

 A layout documenting my son's first job!!

Yep he is awesome!

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

"Assorted Arrows"

"Aidan's Arrows"

"You are awesome title"

"Aztec Arrows Set 1"

I began by using the "Aidan's Arrows" as a stencil.

I placed them randomly on the page and then added some spritz.

When I lifted them up, they had left a cool background pattern.

I then added a few splodges of paint to the pieces of "Aidan's Arrows"

 Chipboard to give it a grungy look.

Such a cool way to use chipboard - a 2 for 1 technique!!

I applied white gesso to a few of the "Assorted Arrows" and then added a
few layers of spritz and ink until I'd achieved the colour I was after.

I then added these randomly to the layout.

I applied the same technique to the 'awesome' part of the "You are Awesome" Title.

To the reminder of the title, I added black paint.

It gave a nice grungy contrast.

Finally, I added black paint to one of the arrows from the NEW "Aztec Arrows Set 1".

I LOVE everything about this piece of chippy!!

The size, the style.

Just gorgeous!!

There you have it!!

A grungy boy layout this time.

or try using your chippy as a stencil.

May Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty Fans!

It's Lisa here today to share a layout with you that I have created.

'Escape'

 I have a beachy themed layout for you today!

For this layout I have used some of the 'Film Strips - Small' that I have painted

 in a flat white. I have used these on either side of my photo.

I have also used one of the 'Aidan's Arrows' that I have also painted in

 flat white, but then I have also inked the edges in a blue to match my papers. 

On this side I have layered the "Aidan's Arrow' atop the

 'Filmstrip- Small', to add some extra dimension to my page.

Lastly I have used the word Escape from the 'Mini Travel Words Set 2', 

that I have finished in white, as my title.

Those Eyes - Layout by Rachael Funnell

'Those Eyes'

Like her father, my daughter has these GORGEOUS brown eyes! BUT!  These are only just one part of her.... There are many MANY things that   I just adore about her..... Hi There! Rachael with you today sharing this layout inspired by 7 Dots Studio - March Challenge       2 Crafty Chipboard pieces I have used.....

Those Eyes chipboard title which I have given a couple of coats of gesso, then very  lightly added a brown ink..   

  Lightly dabbed with gesso  this Funky arrow...

  Incorporated a few 2 Crafty ATC - Mini Stars inking some with dark brown ink &  a few with some texture paste... with a couple of the 7 Dots Studio stars...  

Cut into smaller strips, inked black & around the edge I have  3 smaller pieces of the Aidan's arrow..

Inspiration With Athanasia

You+Me=Big Love

Hello 2Crafty friends!

In a couple of days we will be celebrating Valentine's Day, so I wanted to make

 something with a LOVE mood :)

Before we start...

This layout represents a big love, indestructible in time.

First thing I do to start building a layout is to place the photo and the basic elements,

 and these are the chipboard pieces.

Here is how my page looked before adding more embellishments and painting...

 I used three Polaroid Assortment Frames which I absolutely adore! They look so

 beautiful in the clusters and they come in different sizes, how cool is that?. 

All chipboard pieces were the inspiration for this layout, even the small Asst Arrow.

  I love how it stands there and points to the main composition.

To paint all the chipboard pieces I used silks and H2Os Twinkling watercolors.

It is really a quick process to paint all these before gluing them down -

 the chipboard sucks the color and they dry in no time!

For the cluster in the picture bellow I used four different chipboard pieces,

Two Polaroid Assortment Frames, the word Precious and a small Hedgehog

  (how cute is that??? ) 

I love how they look one above the other!

'Trust'

This journal page turned to be one of my favorites in my journal 

because of this amazing Aidan's Arrow.

As I was looking in my stash I saw it and that was it!

It was like a vision with this arrow standing on some big circles, 

don't ask why and how ...

I created this page immediately after the layout -yeap, that was a really creative day for me :)

I used the same color shades I used on the layout above, as well one more

 Polaroid Assortment Frame. These frames are so cute that I just can't

 have enough! In order to alter the chipboard pieces I used  warm grey Silk and 

primary elements to create more texture on them.

 I 

 The ATC Tiny Heart is like the icing on the cake: cute and delicious! 

I love how it looks on my beloved arrow :)

I painted it with H2Os watercolors purple and spiced pumpkin.
