"Adorable"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

My first inspiration for this month of February is a happy and fun layout.
The funny curve of the writing highlights the attractive title 'Adorable'.

"Adorable"

The chipboard used:

The colors of the plush toy to create this layout attracted me, as did my grandson's little face.

As always, I cover each chipboard with a layer of white gesso.
All chipboards were enhanced with the same products and in the same way.
I start with a first coat of metallic wax in the color "Midnight" from Prima, which I apply with my finger more or less precisely. I use my "Distress Inc" inker in the color "peacock feathers" to rub randomly and provide color contrast. To give relief to the 'Zipper Frame' chipboard, I use foam adhesive.

I overlap two sizes of "number-panels" chipboard.
It's a great idea to have designed two sizes. This helps create depth.

I haven't had the opportunity to use this title yet, but for this layout I find it perfect.
And you, what do you think?

I hope the chipboards I used will give you some creative ideas.

Until next time!

'No.2' by Emma Zappone plus bonus VIDEO

Hi everyone.
Em with you today, sharing a steampunk layout.
I have created a little process video too, that I hope you enjoy.

Here are the chipboard elements used on this page....

12x12 Alpha Basic
Steampunk Gears Medium
Clock Face Discs
Number Panels
Element Set 1

And here is the video to enjoy....

I used lots of little elements to complete this project. The numbers, instead of using as a whole, I cut them up so that I could use them more in a way that worked for me.

Using 3 different colours on the chipboard also allowed them to sing on their own.

I just love the blues with the copper and gold.

Cuting up the chipboard allows so much more layering and interest on a page. There is always something to look at or to fill a gap.

Thanks for joining me today.
I hope you enjoyed the process video too.

Till next time, Stay Crafty, Em xx

"Just Adorable"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I hope that you are well, here in France it is the heat wave.
You should not complain but it is hard.

For this third inspiration, I made a simple layout.
I was inspired by the colors of my paper that I chose in accordance with my photo.
A picture of my grandson posing.

"Just Adorable"

The 2Crafty Chipboards used:

- Just Adorable
- 12X12 Clock Faces
- Circle Stack
- Number Panels

Contrary to my habits I did not apply gesso.

And I only used "Distress" ink in different shades of blue.
I love stacking and mixing chipboards with paper.

I stamped directly on the ink, with more or less emphasis.

To provide more detail on the "Number" panel, I also added transfer tapes.

On the title, I applied a darker blue that I then slightly brightened with light blue.

A simple layout that I loved creating with these beautiful chipboards.

Thank you for your visit, come back tomorrow for more inspirations.

'Awesome'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello, fellow 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.
I have created a super fun boy layout using some of my favourite 2Crafty pieces.

2Crafty Chipboard products used:

For this page, I have used a base paper that already had my mixed media added,
so I have based my design around this.

I have used one of the very cool 'Number Panels',
which I have embossed in a glossy, bright turquoise to match my colour scheme.

I have also used one of the 'View Finders' just tucked
under the corner of the photo, which I embossed in a gorgeous ocean blue.

I have then layered a piece of 'Aidan's Arrows', also embossed in turquoise,
onto the view finder.

For my corner cluster, I have layered elements from my papers,
along with two of the 'Aidan's Arrows',
each embossed in the same blues as the other pieces,
which I have overlapped for dimension.

I really love using all the little elements and layers from my papers,
along with my chipboard, to add interest to my pages.

I LOVE how this one turned out. I have so much fun with boy pages.
I hope that you like it too.

Until next time!

Lisa

Shine Bright
By Marie Claude Rodier

 Hi everyone,

Today’s layout is all about clean and simple, a style I like as it’s focuses on fewer elements
and brings the eyes straight to the picture.
2Crafty has a lot of larger chipboard pieces that are perfect for this kind of project.

Shine Bright

6" mandala No. 3 has been basecoated with gesso and covered with Sparks Chesnet acrylic paint.

After being basecoated, Number Panels were embossed. First with light copper powder and second with light gold.

Shine Bright was embossed with light rose gold powder.

Until next time, be happy and be creative!
