"Loving These Moments With You"
by Amy Voorthuis

Good morning 2Crafty fans.

It's so nice that you are here for my first post as a DT member for 2Crafty.
For this layout I used several gorgeous chippies which I used white gesso on.
The word "shine" I just left white, and the frame had some leafy protrusions on, which
I cut off and tucked in my flower clusters {and left them white also}.

Loving these moments with you:

2Crafty Chipboards used:
 Fine Word Set 2
Loving These Moments With You
Frame Madeline's Flourish
6"Fine Heart Leaf Frame
Mini Flourish Bits

I used two frames on this layout {I have a weakness for them} The 6"Fine Heart Leaf Frame I painted in two colors to match my papers then I added a piece of paper behind it so I could add the phrase.
The frame round my picture was treated with waxes {ochre & rusty brown}

On the pieces that I painted green I also added some shimmer spray to make it more blend into my layout. I used a picture of our darling daughter Abbey last fall you will see her a lot on my layouts.
For this layout I used Maja Design papers & beautiful flowers.

As a finishing touch I added some art stones & gesso to my flowers.
On my chippies I also added some white pearl wax.

Thank you so much for your visit and I hope to see you next time.

Just Adorable
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

I'm back with a new colorful layout to share with you guys, featuring myself and our big baby doggo, Neho. He's now 8 months old and is getting more lovable and mischievous every day!

"Just Adorable"

On the "Wire Stars", I used ivory embossing enamel. For the "Mini Branches" I applied black ink roughly then applied a gold wax on top of it with my fingers.

With the "Frame Madeline's Flourish", I used two coats of gold paint then traced the borders with black ink.

For the title, "Just Adorable", I applied a black sandy embossing powder, then I applied just a little bit of gold wax very roughly on top.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Wire Stars [m00623]
Mini Branches [mb013]
Frame Madeline's Flourish [fr0076]
Just Adorable [w00195]

That's all for me today!
I'll be back in a few weeks with another layout to share with you guys.
I hope you enjoyed this one and that it gave you some inspiration for your own creations.
See you soon!

Beautiful
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my favorite little cheerleader!
I really like this picture and wanted to create a little something to celebrate
 my daughter's favorite sport.

"Beautiful"

On the "Frame Madeline's Flourish", I applied some burgundy embossing powder
and dabbed some copper embossing ink on top.

For the "Mini Branches", I used copper-blue enamel embossing powder.

On the "Fancy Damask", I applied navy wax roughly to let the original chipboard color show through.

For the title, "Beatiful Loopy Font", I applied a red shimmering paint.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty Chipboards:
Frame Madeline's Flourish [FR0076]
Fancy Damask [M00564]
Mini Branches [MB013]
Beautiful  Loopy Font [W00047]

That's all for me today!
I hope you enjoyed this layout and it gave you some inspiration to create something amazing!
I'll be back soon with more ideas to share with you.

Summer Fun
By Marie Claude Rodier
PLUS A PROCESS VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hello there!

I'm here to show my lastest project created with 2Crafty chippies.

Winter has finally arrived in Canada: snow is covering the ground,
temperatures are getting colder every day, winds are chilly...

But that didn't stop me creating a beach layout...As most of you may know by now,
they are my favourites. I am longing for warmer and sunny days!!!

You will find a process video at the end of this post.
I hope you will enjoy it.

"Summer Fun"

This time, I went with a clean and simple layout, mainly focusing
on inks, stamps and chippies, of course!

In order to get an ombre effect "Summer Fun" title was covered with
several layers of pale teal embossing powders.

"Frame Madeline's Flourish" was basecoated with white gesso and
embossed twice with dark blue embossing powder.

Both "Intricate Seahorses" were embossed with vibrant turquoise powder.

April Inspiration with Bec - Video Tutorial

Hi everyone, today I have my April shares.
My theme of this post seems to be blue and pink layouts. I didn't even realize I'd made 2 similar coloured layouts until I was putting this post together. I do love this colour combo though.

Remember Moments Like This

This layout has a process video tutorial to go with it to show you how I
made the layout. I hope you enjoy my video

This is the 2Crafty Chipboard I used on the layout

Handrawn Hearts
Remember Moments Like This Title
Brick Panel
Roxy's Flourish Vine

I used Prima acrylic paints on the chipboard in this layout, they are perfect to colour chipboard.

Always Follow Your Dreams

Up first is a very floral layout with a mixed media background

This is the 2Crafty Chipboard I used on the layout

Grid Panel
Frame Madeline's Flourish
Leafy Silhouettes
Always Follow Your Dreams

On the Grid Panel I first coloured with white embossing powder, then I randomly sprinkled Lindy's Gang Desert Moon Turquoise embossing powder on with while the white was still hot.

I treated the Frame Madeline's Flourish and title Always Follow Your Dreams the same way as the Grid Panel. Only instead of turquoise embossing powder I used Lindy's Gang Raspberry Lemonade embossing powder. I like to randomly add the coloured embossing powder because I think it gives more interest to the chipboard pieces.

On the Leafy Silhouettes I also used the  Lindy's Gang Desert Moon Turquoise embossing powder but this time I just added it to the raw chipboard to make the colour come out much darker.

Thanks for visiting

September Share by Karine

Dear crafty friends,

Karine here today to share two layouts I created this month using the beautiful
2Crafty Chipboards pieces.

My first layout is called...

"Dream A Little Dream"

My starting point was this beautiful Frame Madeline's Flourish. I embossed it with
green embossing powder. I felt it was organic, so I chose earth tones for the rest of my layout.

My title piece is the beautiful Dream a Little Dream chipboard piece. I love the font
of the word Dream. I embossed it with the same embossing powder, as I thought my
layout missed a touch of green.

I used a lot of the Foliage Set 1 throughout my layout.

I embossed the foliage with a pale gold powder.

My second layout is much more ornate.

"Love You to the Moon and Back"

My starting point was the gorgeous moon piece from the Love You to the Moon set.

I covered it with gesso. Then, I used a stencil and modeling paste to give it some dimension.
I wanted it to look like the real moon, with its craters. I then covered it with Prima waxes.
It's so easy to use to color chipboards!

I used the same waxes to color my two Dreamcatchers.
I placed them towards the bottom of my layout.

Here and there, I scattered some stars from the Love You to the Moon set.
I embossed them with a glittery black embossing powder.

My title piece is also from the Love You to the Moon set.

I used some waxes to color it as well.

There is a lot of texture on that layout!

I really hope you like my layouts.
Have a great day.
