"Today One I Will Remember"
Layout
with Amy Voorthuis

 Goodmorning lovely 2Crafty friends,
I am so happy you stopped by the blog, today I made another layout to show you and again it's with a baby picture love doing layout's with cute babies lately. This baby is the son of my ex co-worker who became a first time mom in 2024. I have used some new and older chipboard pieces that combined perfectly with some prima paper & flowers.

Today One I Will Remember:

Most of the chipboard pieces are altered with some white gesso but I also left some of them just in their raw state, sometimes it just fits better that way. The white chipboard pieces on my layout are made white with some acrylic matte paint.

On the vintage steampunk clock clusters I added some different color waxes. The other chipboard pieces are coloured with my aqua/alcohol markers in a chocolate color & the dainty foilage stems in a dark green sage color and to finish them I added some of my waxes.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....

" Let's Explore"
layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach back with you today sharing another layout
This masculine fun layout...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Anchor & Buoy set
2023
 Industrial Spring set
Giant gears & cogs
Let's Explore

With all the chipboard pieces I've used, I have just simply inked them...
Let's start with the Giant Cog this has been inked with Tim Holtz - Distress Oxide Faded Jeans
a nice pop of blue color, Don't you think?

Next, is this Ship Wheel from Anchor & Buoy set, which I have sitting over the Giant cog
I have inked with again a Tim Holtz ink - Frayed Burlap..

I also inked the 2023 and this Industrial Spring with Tim Holtz - Frayed Burlap
then cut this Spring before placing either side of the photo..

Lastly for the title, Let's Explore I wanted it to stand out that little more
so I inked it black... I am really happy with this page &
I hope I have inspired you in some way as well...

Thanks for stopping by
Until next time

'Memories'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some
 floral steampunk inspiration with you.

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I have used a die-cut gear cluster cut from black cardstock.
I have then used some of the gears from the 'Giant Gears & Cogs',
which I have painted black, and adhered onto the back of the cluster.

I have then layered gears from the 'Steampunk Gears Medium' and 'Gears',
all painted with black gesso and adhered to the front of some of the gears in the cluster.

I then used a metallic wax to rub on the cluster, highlighting the gears and some parts of the die-cut.
By adhering the gears to the die-cut, I am able to build up dimension and texture to the cluster.

I have also used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3' as my title,
which I have painted white and adhered,
layering over my bottom gear cluster.

To finish I have used one of the 'Geotags', which I have also given the same metallic wax finish.
The wax finish highlights the chipboard pieces really nicely, and
I really like the mix of steampunk gears and pretty florals.

Until next time!

'Create your own Sunshine'
layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello fellow crafters!

Rach with you today sharing this mixed media, grungy, girly layout
featuring yours truly, along with some beautiful Studio 73 papers, flowers
and of course some great 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Boho hanger
6x4 Phrase Sticks Set 5
Corner Steampunk Set 5
Giant gears & Cogs
Medium Steampunk gears

Let's start with this gorgeous Boho hanger....   Just LOOOK at that detail
and I've kept it quite simple by inking this with a lovely purple (lavender)

Then I have the Perfect Title 'Create Your Own Sunshine'
from the 6x4 Phrase, Sticks Set 5  Sitting at the top of the Boho hanger,
which I've given this phrase stick two light coats of Gesso...

Next up is the Corner Steampunk from Set 5 where I inked one of the corners with a sliver,
then I have cut the Corner in half and placing the two halves
in between the fussy cutting & flower clusters...

Also! added a Giant and a couple of the Medium Steampunk gears
inking these in a pretty Pastel pink finishing it off just nicely...

AND that's it from me, Thanks for stopping by
Hopefully, I have inspired you in some way today
Until next time!

Forever In My Heart
Memories From The Past
by Jenny J.

 Hello everyone!

Here is a different style of  layout for me today,
more grungy style...

“Forever In My Heart”

There is a lot of 2Crafty chippies on my layout...

*Forever in my heart
*giant gears & cogs001
*Steampunk gears medium
*Steampunk strips

First of all, I've  applied clear gesso and a texture paste
with a stencil on my background.
Then, I've built up my clustering by layering the chipboard
and chipboard elements to give dimension.

Above, you can see part of "Steampunk strips" treated with rust effect paste,
pieces from "Giant gears and cogs" painted with black gesso and Lindy's squirt and
some others, black gesso, 3D gel medium with a stencil and a lots of waxes.

The next pic will show you another piece of "Giant gears and cogs"
treated the same way as the previous one and a smaller one too,
from "Steampunk gears medium"
covered with black gesso but also with embossing paste and powder.

Below, the title, "Forever in my heart",
treated with black gesso and copper toned wax.

Again, you will observe "Steampunk strips" with a rusty effect,
gears chippies treated just as the previous ones.

Did you like that grungy style?
It's my grandfather in the pic.
Miss him so much 💓

Stay safe everyone!
Thanks for stopping by xx

Hastag 'TOTALLY'
Layout By Rachael Funnell

Hello & a warm welcome to the 2 Crafty blog.
Rach with you today sharing my newest creation, this grungy boys layout....

#Totally

This layout featuring my boy
with a couple of his younger cousins
another great moment captured....

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Giant gears & cogs
2019
#TOTALLY
Steampunk strips
Mini hot air balloons

Starting with the Mini hot air balloon I have sitting to
the left & under the title. I have given it 2 coats of gesso!

Next the title #TOTALLY
I went with inking it black along with the Steampunk strips.

I wanted a different contrast with the Giant Gears & cogs
so I went with inking them nice bright blue! AND did the same to the 2019..

Finalizing my layout (as I usually do) with some splattering,
which then has given the chipboard pieces a great unique finish...

I hope you feel inpsired in some way!
