'Let's Go'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty lovers.
It's Lisa here today to share some fun scrappy inspiration with you.

Let's Go

2Crafty products used:

'Mini Assorted Camera Set'
'Fencing Wire Panel'
'Aged Film Strip Set'
'Geotags'
'Let's Go Title'
'Travel Icon Set'
'Fluffy Clouds Set'

For this layout, I used a 'Fencing Wire Panel',
that I have painted matte black and layered under my photo.

I also used one of the 'Aged Film Strip Set',
also painted matte black and added to my layers.

I also used one of the 'Mini Assorted Camera Set'
which I have left raw and layered on my film strip.

I used the polaroids from the 'Travel Icon Set',
which I painted white and then
painted some little scenery images on them.

I also used the 'Let's Go Title'
painted blue and layered on my wire panel.

To finish, I used two of the 'Fluffy Clouds Set',
which I have painted white and adhered to my page.

I hope that you like what I have created.

Until next time!

'Memories'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some
 floral steampunk inspiration with you.

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I have used a die-cut gear cluster cut from black cardstock.
I have then used some of the gears from the 'Giant Gears & Cogs',
which I have painted black, and adhered onto the back of the cluster.

I have then layered gears from the 'Steampunk Gears Medium' and 'Gears',
all painted with black gesso and adhered to the front of some of the gears in the cluster.

I then used a metallic wax to rub on the cluster, highlighting the gears and some parts of the die-cut.
By adhering the gears to the die-cut, I am able to build up dimension and texture to the cluster.

I have also used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3' as my title,
which I have painted white and adhered,
layering over my bottom gear cluster.

To finish I have used one of the 'Geotags', which I have also given the same metallic wax finish.
The wax finish highlights the chipboard pieces really nicely, and
I really like the mix of steampunk gears and pretty florals.

Until next time!

'Racing Cards'
Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's Lisa on the blog today to share some inspiration with you.
I have created a pair of cards,
with a boy theme.

2Crafty products used:

For my first card, I have gone with the racing theme,
and I have used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium',
in among my elements.

I have also used one of the 'Geotags',
and one of the sentiments from the 'Card Word Set 2'.
I have left my chipboard raw, as I love how it contrasts with my papers.

For my second card, I have again kept with the racing theme,
and have used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium', in among my layers.

I have also again used one of the 'Geotags', and
some of the 'Assorted Arrows'.

I have also added one of the really cute 'Mini Family Icons',
I am really happy with how these cards turned out, very fun!
I hope that you like them too.

Until next time!

'Snapshots'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
I hope you are all staying safe.

As I can't go anywhere at the moment,
I thought I would relive one of our holidays - lol.

'Snapshots'

2Crafty Products Used:

For this layout I have started with a mixed media background, some splashes of blue.
I have used some of the 'Tiny Film Strips' on either side of my page, for balance.
I have finished them with a pale blue embossing powder.

Up there I have used one of the 'Geotags'
which I have left raw.

I have also used one of the gorgeous 'Intricate Seahorses',
also finished in pale blue and tucked up next to my layers.

Lastly I have used one of the 'Mini Travel Word Set 1',
snapshots, also finished in the same pale blue finish.

I really love blue and yellow together, it just screams summer to me.
I'm already feeling the cold start here lol

Until next time

Lisa

October CSI/2Crafty Collaboration Layouts by Debbi Tehrani (and a process video)

Hi, 2Crafty Fans! I'm very excited that 2Crafty is sponsoring CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration this month. October being the month of Halloween in the United States, I decided monsters would be our theme tying together our Case Files. I hope you'll come play with us for a chance to win some awesome 2Crafty chipboard! I used this Case File for my first layout. This challenge is open for the entire month of October.

Monster Munch

That's my friends little girl in these photos. She is quite a character, and I thought the pictures would go perfect with the colors of the Case File, and I was so lucky there were four of them to go with the sketch in the challenge.

For those of you who have never played with us at CSI, the Case File might look complicated, but trust me, it's not! I made a short process video explaining how to play with our challenges and talked about the decisions I made when I created my page.

In my video, I shared how I treated each piece of chipboard, but I will identify which pieces I used in each photo below the pictures.

My title was created with "Alpha Set 1." The antenna on the "o" is cut from "Heidi's Vines." The cloud is from "Mini Weather Icons."

The monster is from the "Blobbles" set. I also used pieces from "Triangles Set" in the picture above.

The bird is from the "Cutesy Birds" pack. Its wing is from "ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars" and it's standing on a bone from the "Barnyard Animals" pack.

Pictured above is the word "enjoy" from "Card Word Set 2" sitting atop an arrow from "Asst Arrows." Beneath the photo cluster, I used an "Apron Lace" border.

2Crafty Products used on this layout:
Alpha Set 1
Triangle Set
Blobbles
Mini Weather Icons
Asst Arrows
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Card Word Set 2
Barnyard Animals
Cutesy Birds
Apron Lace
Heidi's Vines

For my second layout, I used another CSI Case File:

Make Believe

I'm telling you, my girlfriend's daughter is an endless source of amusement and inspiration. She's sporting a princess outfit and a Star Wars Chewbaca mask. And, no, it wasn't Halloween.  I wanted to create a princess-y yet playful scene, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use some of those 2Crafty flourishes in my stash. In addition to the flourish clues in the Case File, I also found feathers, geotags, and leaves in my 2Crafty stash. I did manage to use all of the clues on my layout.

The feathers were trimmed off of a "Dreamcatcher." I wanted to use the whole dreamcatcher, but I couldn't make it fit on my 8 x 8 page with all the other elements I wanted to use. I painted them with lavender and green Twinkling H2O's.

Thea chipboard leaves, from "Foliage Set 1" were painted with green Twinkling H2O's. I used two different colors to get the teal colors on the chipboard. I decided to turn the circular, flourishy "Yvette's Frame" and "Geotags" into monsters! I had a piece of the "Lacy Border" leftover from another layout, so I added that to the top.

The title came from the "Xmas Mini Word Pack."
I added a lavender painted heart from "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars" for added initerest.

2Crafty Products used on this layout:
Dreamcatchers
Foliage Set 1
Yvette's Frame
Geotags
ATC Tiny Hearts and Stars
Xmas Mini Word Pack
Lacey Border Set 1

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll give the CSI Case Files a try,
and I hope I've given you some ideas for using the awesome 2Crafty chipboard pieces.
