Unofficial Beach Bum - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
I am back today to share a beachy layout of our oldest when he was young!

2Crafty Products used:

6" Circle revolution frame
Cattail Shrub
6x6 Circle Frame set
Unofficial Beach Bum
Anchors
Seaweed
Industrial Spring Set

I wanted to keep with the grungy feel and colours of the paper.  After prepping the chipboard with white gesso I layered distress ink in scorched timber, uncharted mariner and faded jeans then spritzed with water and repeated until I achieved the look I wanted.

For the title I used steampunk sepia mist then heat embossed with cafe au lait embossing powder

I layered fussy cut images with the chipboard dies stones.

Next up this the fabulous Anchor I have sitting to the bottm left side of my photo.
Inking this with Tim Holtz - Faded Jeans Distress ink

Lastly for my title Simple moments make Great Memories
which is just pefect for this & would be great with many other photos
I just simply inked this with black ink & finishing off by adding a thick coat of gesso to the 2022

That's it from me today,
I hope I have inpsired you in some way
Until next time

'Sweet Summer Day' Album Layout
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here on the blog today to share some 2Crafty goodness with you!

I have created another layout for my Grandfather's album,
this one featuring him at the beach when he was very young.

2Crafty Products used:

I have started with one of the gorgeous 'Intricate Sea Horses',
that I have left raw, to go with the vintage natural feel of the layout.

I have used some of the 'Fishing Net Bits',
that I have left raw, and added in among my paper layers.

I have also used one of the 'Anchors', that I have also left raw,
and layered with a couple of elements from the papers.

I am in love with these seahorses.
I will definitely be trying a bright vibrant colour next time.

I hope that you like what I have created.
I am slowly adding to the album,
and I am enjoying the process of it coming together.
I hope you like it too!

Until next time!

Lisa

Sea projects by Elena

Hello crafty friends, Elena stopping by today to share
my latest projects for the 2Crafty Design Team.
I prepared two works, because I was inspired by our chipboards
and could not do one thing :)))

"Sea and Dog"

I've used the stunning St.Tropez collection by Prima to create this LO.
The photograph told me how to arrange the two pieces of paper: blue for the sky and
 brown for the soil.

I started by stencilling background circles using texture paste.

Next I made a clouds out of tissue paper and  refreshed it with sprays Lindy's.

I added stamping and Circle Flowers and Birds

Also in this layout I used my favorite chipboard Dandelions

Last but not least I added a title to finish it off.

My second project:

ATC "Shards of Sea"

My series is named so for a reason. I took a sheet of clear plastic and cut it randomly into 4 pieces. Painted these pieces with alcohol ink and glued pieces of Mesh Bits.

Then I let go of the inspiration and began to create a composition
of pieces of gauze, shells, flowers, metal jewelry and beads.

The main decoration of ATCs - chipboard Anchors  and Seahorses.

I tinted them a little with chameleon paint by the Fabrika Decoru and wax by Prima.

Added headlines-stickers by 7 DOTs.

In these ATCs and layout I have used the following
2Crafty Chipboard pieces:

That's it for today! I hope I could inspire you in one way or another.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Pirate notebook by Elena

Hello my dear friends!!!
Today I want to show you my new notebook for a cheeky boy
who loves stories about travel and pirates.

This young boy will write the best memories of his summer.

I used a Mina Frame for the cover whose curls resemble the waves of the sea.
Delightful Anchor engraved also came in handy!

The spine of the notebook is decorated with ribbons and cords with beads and pendants.

There are more than just pages for notes in notepad but also many pages for photos.
I decorated one of them with  Gears Small
and an arrow with the inscription from the  Arrow Word Set 1

The chipboard inscription on the next page calls for the most incredible adventures!

Again gears and arrow with the inscription.
And on the right a page with a large envelope,
I added the same anchor as on the cover, only it's bigger.

Hope you got some ideas for your future use of 2Crafty chipboards
& I hope you enjoy the selection of chipboard that
I have chose for my notebook.
Thank you very much for your visiting today!

I used 2Crafty products:

Arrow Word Set 1

                                                             Happy crafting, Elena!

'#Selfie' Layout
By Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach with today sharing my first bit of November inspiration.
This layout featuring my gorgoeus daughter & her father (my hubby)...

'#SELFIE'

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:
Anchor
#Selfie  from Mini Word Set 1
Fern set
So Sweet mini banner  from ATC - Banner word set 1
Hearts from ATC - Hearts & Stars
Circle heart frame

I was glad I was on the ball this day and snapped this photo of a father & daugther moment
and thought it was only fitting to use the 2 Crafty # mini word # SELFIE as the title...

I started with a coat of gesso to all chipboard pieces used,
then inked with a few colours...

   #SELFIE with red...

I just adore the details the Anchor has and not wanting to lose any of it once the gesso dried,
using my finger I ever so lightly rubbed with a Tim Holtz - Wild Honey Distress Ink....

I did the same procedure with this ADORABLE So Sweet banner, only this
time using Time Holtz - Spun Sugar ( Pale pink)  Distress Ink.

The Delicate Circle heart frame has been inked with a dark blue
(Tim Holtz - Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire)

The Ferns I lightly rubbed with a Distress Oxide - Peacock feather ink....
And lastly the ATC  - hearts have been inked with a Color box - rose pink!

That's it from me today!
I will be back later on in the month, till then HAPPY crafting peeps...
