Mixed Media Free-form ATC "Birdcages" by Elena Martynova

Hello there, creative friends!

Today I'd like to share with you my new inspiration!
I made a series of ATC "Birdcages".

I really like to make different interesting things,
I like to compose all sorts of houses for fabulous creatures.
And for the inspiration of June, I made some four Birdcages for the fairies.

I'm dismantling my attic again:)))

And I found a very interesting find.
These are bird cages for mechanical wind-up birds.
Once they decorated the girls ' rooms, and then they were banished to the attic for lack of use.
The wind, rain and dust had completely ruined the appearance, the cats had torn apart the
small furry birds, and all the mechanisms were hopelessly rusty.

All I managed to do was blow away a centimeter of dust,
disperse the spiders that had chosen the cages as their home,
and scrape some rust off the bars.

Each bird cage has its own unique title.
I used Mini Title Stick Set 3 and

The back wall is decorated with a floral chippies from the Corner Flower Vines.

First I covered it with black paint, and then I experimented
with colored pastes, embossing powders, and waxes.
I guess if I wanted to do it again, I wouldn't be able to do it :)))

The old mechanisms are made using sets of chipboard gears

Between the layers, I added lace and a lot of different toppings:
medium and small art-stones, beads and glitter.

I hope you enjoy my idea of unusual ATC))

I used 2Crafty products:

Have a nice day!
Сheers, Elena.

ATC "Girls"by Elena Martynova with a Video Tutorial

Hello there lovely creative friends!
Today I'd like to share with you my brand new inspiration -
a mixed media ATC with lovely amazing 2Crafty products!

I have long wanted to make such cards, so that they have a basis
the background chipboard and main decor are also made of chipboard.

The result is not standard ATC but the so-called Free Form ATC.
Their size is about 7 x 9 cm, a little more than necessary,
but the shape is not rectangular, but with cut-off patterned edges.

For the basics I divided the Arrows Panel into 4 parts

Hope you like and I have video for you to watch if you would like to see my process:

I painted the chipboard with black paint on both sides.
Added interesting details using stamps and embossing powder.

Here you can see a few more photos:

Decorated with 49 & Market flowers and cut paper flowers and leaves.

The letters were tinted with purple spray, but it gave an interesting greenish glow.

Added toppings and glitter mousse.
Without the figures of little girls, my cards looked like
not complete, so I stuck them on.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

Thank you so much for visiting us today,
I hope you enjoyed your time here and
will be visiting us again in the near future.

Cheers, Elena.

Sea projects by Elena

Hello crafty friends, Elena stopping by today to share
my latest projects for the 2Crafty Design Team.
I prepared two works, because I was inspired by our chipboards
and could not do one thing :)))

"Sea and Dog"

I've used the stunning St.Tropez collection by Prima to create this LO.
The photograph told me how to arrange the two pieces of paper: blue for the sky and
 brown for the soil.

I started by stencilling background circles using texture paste.

Next I made a clouds out of tissue paper and  refreshed it with sprays Lindy's.

I added stamping and Circle Flowers and Birds

Also in this layout I used my favorite chipboard Dandelions

Last but not least I added a title to finish it off.

My second project:

ATC "Shards of Sea"

My series is named so for a reason. I took a sheet of clear plastic and cut it randomly into 4 pieces. Painted these pieces with alcohol ink and glued pieces of Mesh Bits.

Then I let go of the inspiration and began to create a composition
of pieces of gauze, shells, flowers, metal jewelry and beads.

The main decoration of ATCs - chipboard Anchors  and Seahorses.

I tinted them a little with chameleon paint by the Fabrika Decoru and wax by Prima.

Added headlines-stickers by 7 DOTs.

In these ATCs and layout I have used the following
2Crafty Chipboard pieces:

That's it for today! I hope I could inspire you in one way or another.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Summer ATCs by Elena

Hello dear friends!

Today i'm with a new project - Mixed Media ATCs.
Our sunny and hot summer inspired me and I made a big series of ATС with our amazing  chippies.

I made the background with paper from @primamarketinginc collection Fruit Paradise .
And then added different  chipboards and flowers.
I covered some chipboards with white embossing powder Lindy's
and some - with metallic acrylic paint.

I wanted to make very bright and juicy cards!
To looking at them in winter was immediately reminded of summer.

Sitting Sparrow is decorates the first card

For the second card I covered the star from
the chipboard Corner Xmas Star Spray with Golden embossing powder.

Do you think that the Gears are not combined with flowers?
I think that they look very interesting together!

How beautiful in the summer garden!
Ripe fruits and beautiful flowers grow in the neighborhood.
Just like on my next card.
I used Cherry Blossom here.

The next two cards I decorated with

Let time inexorably runs forward, and soon will come autumn,
I will recall this summer looking at my ATCs.
I used here
and

In these ATCs I have used the following
2Crafty Chipboard pieces:

Have a nice day,

Fantasy Layout Inspiration by Elena Martynova

 Hello scrappy friends!
My new layout is about spring, waking up nature, new discoveries and impressions!
I let my fantasy spread its wings and sent her flying free :)))
No rule, restrictions, patterns and norms!
The composition was formed easily and naturally, and bright details revived the layout.

In the background is a sheet of paper from ABStudio.
I also added pages from the old dictionary and paper from Prima from the Forever Green collection.

I made the leaves of the oak from the  Foliage Set 2
bright green as the first spring leaves.

To support the mushroom cap on the card at the top of the page,
I painted the Turkish Lanterns  in  flashlight bright red.
I really like how it attracts the eye!

 Added such a remarkable phrase

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

But that's not all for today!

From scraps of paper and small chippys I made these ATCs.
