I primed all the chipboard with clear gesso including the center section of the revolution frames.
I then covered the chipboard with a mix of lumberjack plaid, rustic wilderness, and scorched timber distress inks that I sprayed with water then allowed to dry naturally. I inked the outer edges of each piece with the scorched timber ink also
I wanted to use the highlights of red from the awesome papers because Ty's bike he built was red and I love the highlights it provided and it made the title stand out.
I painted all the chipboard white to coordinate with the papers but still stand out. I layered elements under my title using different dimensions to add visual interest.
I tucked in the flourishes and Moroccan bits with other elements.
I used one of the circles from the stack as a frame element.
Today is my turn to show you some inspiration on this amazing blog. For this post I made another layout this time with my first paper love "Graphic 45" papers. I used the pretty French Country & Olde Curiosity Shoppe collections with all amazing 2Crafty chipboard pieces. I used a picture of our beautiful Abbey amoung some pretty flowers made last year.
My Gorgeous Sunflower:
2Crafty Chipboard used: Fine Word Set 3 6" Clock Faces Moroccan Bits Line Words - Summer ATC Word Banner Set 1 Lattice Leaves
Firstly I added two layers of gesso on al my chipboard pieces then on the clockfaces & the line word "sun" I used some rustic white sand paint which has a gruncy texture. Then I used several acrylic paints and randomly added that on the same pieces.
The leaves are first painted with green acrylic paint and when that was all dry I added the same rustic cream/white sand paint and dabbed it on different spots on the leaves. The ATC banner was only treated with some white matte wax. The Moroccan bits are dabbed with some black acrylic paint & gesso.
