Merry & Joy Altered Collage Frame By Tania Ridgwell

Hello there! 

Just popping in today to share a bonus DT project I created for September.   I have altered this Collage Frame. 

"Merry & Joy Collage Frame"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Christmas Cluster

*Christmas Lacey Bauble Set

*Christmas Mini Word Set 2

*Holly Twig Branches

I have used the gorgeous new Mintay Merry & Joy Christmas Collection to decorate each of the inside photo frame panels.

I coloured the Christmas Cluster and Christmas Mini Word Set 2 chippies with Silver leaf paint.  The 

Christmas Lacey Bauble chippies were coloured with Heidi Swapp color shine and once dry I roughly dabbed on some of the Silver Leaf Paint.  Lastly I coloured the Holly Twig Branch chippies with Envy Colourblast Colour Paste and once they were dry I also randomly dabbed on some Silver Leaf Paint.

I decorated the collage framed by adding fussy cut elements and lots of paper blooms. 

I added the Christmas Cluster to the top photo panel and then tucked in the Christmas Lacey Baubles  and Holly Twig Branch chippies amongst the fussy cut elements and paper blooms.  I added some words from the Christmas Mini Word Set 2 to a few of the photo panels.

To finish off my frame I randomly sponged on some gesso on the frame and to the flowers, fussy cut elements and chippies to give it a snow like effect.

"Wonderful" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

For my first inspiration for this month of June, I offer you a layout including this pretty 

window model which frames a photo of my granddaughter taken in profile.

"Wonderful"

The chipboards used:

- "Wonderful" Mini Word Set 3

- "joy" Christmas Mini Word Set 2

- Window Shutter Set 2

- Mollie's Butterfly Set

- Ginny's Flourish Set

- Heart Clumps

After choosing my layout, I decided to embellish the majority of the chipboards in white.

To start, I apply a layer of white gesso.

Then I use a heavy body acrylic paint of snow-white color.

 I wanted to achieve a covering effect.

I use two "Ginny's Flourish" chipboards to give volume to my embellishment cluster.

For the butterflies I chose to cover them with Lindy's Gang embossing powder in the color

 "Madonna Robe Blue Gold.

I often add to my projects these "Heater Clumps". They are light and so adorable.

To create a distinctive look, I chose to use two mini-words in different fonts.

I hope this presentation of these beautiful chipboards will inspire you in your next creations.

Hello everyone,

I present to you my second inspiration of this month of April.

A spring layout always using our fantastic chipboards including 

these beautiful flowers "Magnolia Stems".

"believe" 

The chipboards used:

- Christmas Mini-Word Set 2

- Magnolia Stems

- Aged Film Strip Set

- Flower Doilies

- Lacy Border Set 1

To begin, I apply a layer of white gesso to every chipboard.

To embellish the chipboards "Magnolia Stems" I chose ink "Oxide Distress" color "musard seed" 

and "rustic wilderness".

 I love the way these flowers were designed. 

Their size and structure make them easy to ink, making it even easier to play 

with colors and reveal details.

I proceed in the same way on the chipboard "Lacy Border". 

For the chipboard "Aged Film Strip", I put a thin layer of ink "Oxide Distress" 

color 'brushed corduroy'.

Using this close-up, I wanted to show you how chipboards fit perfectly with paper embellishments.

As for the chipboard "Flower Doilies" I apply a simple layer of white acrylic paint.

It really is one of my favorites. It has a striking resemblance to a lace doily.

In order not to waste the particle boards, I cut the "Aged Film Strip" particle boards.

One part for the top and another for the bottom on which I add my title.

I hope I gave you some inspiration with this layout.

'Christmas Winterland Cards' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa here on the blog today to share some
 Christmas Winterland cards with you!

2Crafty Products used:

For my first card, I have used one of the 'Winter Twig Branches',

 for my birds to perch on. 

I have also used one of the snowflakes from the 'Wintery Snowflakes' set, 

along with a 'Merry Christmas Fine Card Pack'. 

For my next card, I have used one of the borders from the 

'Lacey Borders Set 1', which I have cut in half,

 and used to frame the centre of my card. 

I have also used one of the 'Mini Reindeers' in among my elements. 

I have left all of my chipboard raw for these cards,

 I love the warmth that it adds to my project.

For my final card, I have used another of the snowflakes

 from the 'Wintery Snowflakes' set,

 along with two from the 'Mini Weather Icons', that I have layered.

Finally, I have also a word from the 'Christmas Mini Word Set 2' 

that I have finished in a weathered white embossing powder. 

I hope that you like what I have created, 

and that I have inspired you with my Christmas creations.

Hello 2 Crafty fans how are you doing ?

 I hope you had a wonderful holiday. This is my first post of 2018 :)
Let me show you my first project, it is a fantasy page.

"Dream"

Details...

I used Chloe's Vines embossed in white color to frame the photo,  they give 

the appearance of wings, so delicate, I just love the effect.

Mini word set 1"dream" I painted it with acrylic paint and afterwards
 I covered it with clear embossing powder.

Finally for a decorative effect I just left the Mini Branches a natural color.

For my second project I made these tags. I wanted to make something in soft colors.

The  Corner Swirly Heart set I heat embossed with Lindys merci beaucoup mint
 Embossing Powder.  These are so delicate.

Dianne Doily I decided to put under my flowers and
heat embossed in Lindy's Chateau Rose.

The tittles  " Love" and "Cherish" are from the Mini Words Set 2 and    
Crihstmas Mini Words set 2 & were embossed in Lindy's King Midas Gold.

December Inspiration with Debbie

Hi everyone,
 Debbie here with today to share my last Design team projects for 2Crafty Chipboard.

I want to thank Vanessa and Di for allowing me the opportunity to design this
 past year for 2Crafty Chipboard.

 With Christmas just around the corner, I have two Christmas layouts to share...

On both sides of my photo I used the Winter Twig Branches embossed with a
dark green/gold embossing powder and a piece of the Holly Vine Wreath.

Beneath the photo I placed the Holly Vine Wreath, Decorative Disc Set 1 

and the title embossed gold. 

Beneath my layering I used the Festive Music Noted embossed gold.  Placed around 

the photo I used the 6" Circle Dot Frame, also embossed gold.

I embossed the Formal Flourish 3 and Flower Doilies a deep red.

I embossed the words from the Christmas Mini Word Set 2  gold, 

 Corner Swirly Set in deep red and the Foliage Set 3 a deep green.

Here I've used another piece from the Foliage Set 3
