Elodie Butterfly 3D Wall Art by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Tania popping in today to share the first of my DT projects for March.
  I have altered a 3D Butterfly Wall Art. 

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Flower Doilies

*Celebration Swirls

*Decorative Poles

*Fancy Set 2 Borders

I have used the gorgeous Mintay 'Elodie' Collection on the base panels and the butterfly of my Wall Art.

I have painted the large Flower Doily, Decorative Pole & Celebration Swirls chippies with Mont Marte Silver Paint.  The Fancy Border end chippie pieces I have kept raw.

Once I added my chippies pieces on my 3D Wall art and I was happy with the placement.  I then finished it off with lots of beautiful paper blooms and coordinating die cuts.

'Vintage Memories' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all, it's Lisa here today. 
I have some vintage memories to share with you, 
with a layout featuring my mum. 

 "Vintage Memories"

 

 

2Crafty products used:

 

 'Flower Doilies'
'Foliage Set 11'
'Photo Adornment - Flourish Set 4'

'Tiny Frame Kathleen's' 

 

 

For this layout, I used one of the 'Flower Doilies',

that I cut in half and embossed white.

I then used half on each side of my paper layers. 

 

 

I also used one of the stems from 'Foliage Set 11',
also embossed in white and tucked into my layers.

 

 

 

I then used one of the 'Tiny Frame Kathleen's',

also embossed white. I used it on its side
 as a frame for one of my flowers. 

 

 

I also used one of the 'Photo Adornment - Flourish Set 4', 
embossed in white and tucked under the corner of my photo. 

 I really love the vintage feel of this layout.

'Today' with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.

Today

 2Crafty products used:

 'Dotted Polaroid Frame'

'Flower Doilies'

'Flower Medallions'

'Today Phrase Set'

'Old World Key/Lock Set'

 

 

For this layout, I used two of the 'Dotted Polaroid Frames',
 which I embossed in a bright aqua colour. 

I also used one of the keys, from the 
'Old World Key/Lock Set' which I embossed in white, 

 layered over one of the frames.

 

 

 

I then used one of the 'Flower Doilies',
which I have embossed in a peach colour to suit my papers,
and tucked into my paper layers.

 

 

 

I then used the 'Today Phrase Set',

which I embossed the today word in a sparkle peach colour. 
I layered this over one of my polaroid frames.

I have left the other phrase elements raw,
 and used layered over other chipboard pieces.   

 

 

 

I am loving the peach and aqua vibes of this page!

Choose Happy by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for July. 
 I have created a layout. 

"Choose Happy"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Choose Happy

*Boho Floral Clusters

*Flower Doilies

I have used the gorgeous Uniquely Creative 'While Away' Collection to create the base for my layout.  

I first painted the Choose Happy & Flower Doily chippies with a coat of Gesso.  Once dry I added a little amount of Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions Paint to some gesso and then randomly dabbed this onto the chippie pieces.  The Boho Floral Clusters I have left raw.

I added some fussy cut tags from the "While Away" collection under my photo.  I cut the Flower Doily chippie in half and tucked a half along each side of my photo.  I added fussy cut flowers and paper blooms to the top and bottom of my photo and tucked a raw Boho Floral Cluster chippie into each of these.   I finished off my page by adding the Choose Happy chippie to the bottom left of my layout.

Winged Melodies Cards by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there! 

Tania joining you today to share a bonus DT project for March. 
 I have created a set of sweet cards for as a bonus share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Card - Word Circle Set - Happy Birthday

*Mollie's Butterfly Set

*Flower Doilies

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous Mintay "Winged Melodies" Paper Collection. 

I first gave all the chippie pieces a couple of coats of gesso.  I then used the Cocktail Party & Merry Mint Distress Crayons to give all the chippie pieces a little bit of colour.

To construct each of the cards I added a Flower Doilie chippie to each.  I 

then embellished them with die cut elements and paper blooms. I tucked in a Mollie's Butterfly chippie amongst the blooms and finished each card with a Happy Birthday chippie Sentiment.

'Story Time' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty inspiration with you.
I have created this layout using a photo of my daughter.

'Story Time'

2Crafty products used: 

For this layout I have used one of the 'Indian Dreamcatcher', 

that I have layered over one of the small 'Flower Doilies'. 

I have finished both pieces in a weathered white embossing powder. 

 I have used one of the foliage pieces from 'Foliage Set 8', 

that I have embossed in the same weathered white finish. 

I have also used some of the gorgeous 'Leafy Silhouettes',

also finished in a weathered white and tucked into my florals.

I also used one of the larger 'Flower Doilies' tucked into my photo stack,

again with the weathered white finish.

"believe" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present to you my second inspiration of this month of April.

A spring layout always using our fantastic chipboards including 

these beautiful flowers "Magnolia Stems".

"believe" 

The chipboards used:

- Christmas Mini-Word Set 2

- Magnolia Stems

- Aged Film Strip Set

- Flower Doilies

- Lacy Border Set 1

To begin, I apply a layer of white gesso to every chipboard.

To embellish the chipboards "Magnolia Stems" I chose ink "Oxide Distress" color "musard seed" 

and "rustic wilderness".

 I love the way these flowers were designed. 

Their size and structure make them easy to ink, making it even easier to play 

with colors and reveal details.

I proceed in the same way on the chipboard "Lacy Border". 

For the chipboard "Aged Film Strip", I put a thin layer of ink "Oxide Distress" 

color 'brushed corduroy'.

Using this close-up, I wanted to show you how chipboards fit perfectly with paper embellishments.

As for the chipboard "Flower Doilies" I apply a simple layer of white acrylic paint.

It really is one of my favorites. It has a striking resemblance to a lace doily.

In order not to waste the particle boards, I cut the "Aged Film Strip" particle boards.

One part for the top and another for the bottom on which I add my title.

I hope I gave you some inspiration with this layout.
