'Nature Lover' by Emma Zappone

Welcome to a new week!
Emma here today on the blog, and I'm sharing a 9"x9" Layout with you.
This page is entitled

 'Nature Lover'

This page is created on a White cardstock base with a white embossed stamp print to create texture behind our main composition.

Lets check out some of the awesome chipboard pieces chosen for this page.....

I knew that I had to play with the mushrooms as they are just the cutest. And it matched this awesome image I found on Pinterest. So this then became my main theme.

These amazing flourish's are painted with a cream acrylic base. I then dotted some red acrylic in sections to mimic the mushroom tops and the patterns in the image. Once these were dry, I added a clear emboss powder to add a beautiful shine.

The Louisa frames are one of my absolute fabs as it adds a little bit of glam, grunge or in-between.
I painted these with a red acrylic and once dry added white dots, again to mimic the mushrooms.

The Groovy flowers were also painted in red acrylic but finished with a matte white wax.

These absolutely fabtabulous mushrooms were painted in a cream acrylic first. Then I delicately painted the mushroom 'markings' with the same red acrylic as the other chipboard elements.
Once I was happy with the painting, I added clear emboss over the top.
A double coating  of emboss to really make the tops shine.

I really love how I can tell the story of the page with the help of these amazing chipboard elements.

I hope this has inspired you a little today.

Thanks for joining me, and I will see you again later in the month.

Till then, Stay Crafty.
Em xx

That's My Moon Baby - By Emma Zappone

Hello!

Emma here with you on this last day of October.
Today I share a piece of Art that is a little different from my normal style.
Using little Mixed Media and plenty of Chipboard I love this Over sized eclectic Tag.

Here are the amazing chipboard pieces i used.....

Frame Louisa's
Clock Face Discs
Fancy Clock Hands Set 2
Lace Doily Frame

Keeping the Tag very 'Clean' i decided to make the chipboard illuminate and keep the papers clean.
So i painted all the chipboard in Black Gesso to prime them.

Then once they were dried, I started to simply apply a selection of complimentary waxes to bring them alive and 'pop' from the papers.

I applied this finish on all of the chipboard pieces. Simply yet effective. And I adore those clock hands so much i just had to use them as a focal point on my massive clock.

I hope this inspires you a little and you get some creative time this weekend.

I will see you all again soon.

Emma xx

Layout "Space Cat" by Elena Martynova

Hello and welcome to the 2Crafty blog!
For today's project, I have created a layout featuring a photo of Space-cat.

I applied a texture paste through a stencil
at the junction of the
two papers. When it was dry, I painted it with sprays.

 I did some random stamping
and permanent black ink.

The chipboard is covered with Lindys "Twilight Bronze Slate"
embossing powder. To show its texture,
I slightly tinted some places with white Gold wax.

Lots of flowers added to the composition on the page.

In this photo, you can find the small letter "f " from the Alpha Set 1.
And if you are very careful you will also find a "t" next to the photo of the cat :)))

I like to add such small details. They complicate the work and make it more interesting.

Wonderful curls of Ariel's Spray set the direction of the entire
composition on the page. I loved using it as a decoration
that I will definitely order it a few more times!

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

That's all for today.
We thank you so much for coming by and for supporting us here at 2Crafty.

I'll see you next time!

Cheers, Elena.

I am here today to show you my inspiration for challenge #302.

I went with a cozy red and creme layout... After all, Christmas is around the corner!!!

My fur friend loves to rest his toy next to him.
He is always looking after them and protecting them.
That's so adorable!

"A home is not a home without a dog" was embossed with vintage gold embossing powder.

"Frame Louisa's" were left natural and tucked under the stack of papers and embellishments.

October Layouts By Sandra Bernard

''Perfection''

Hi there!  Sandra here with you today sharing three layouts.
Two for 2crafty and one more for Kraft+ challenge as guest DT
as 2Crafty are sponsoring over there this month.

Let's start with the first one, where I play with some leaves...

2Crafty Chipboards used:
Tiny leaf stems
leafy silhouettes
summer leaf stems
frame Ingrid's
Perfection as title

I treated the three different lots of foliage all different.
For the first one, I used some green foil to add here and there.

For the second one, I used some green metallic paint to give a great color,
and I left the third lot of foliage natural to create a contrast between them all.

I painted the frame with bronze and green metallic paint.
The title has been keep natural too.

''Sweet''

My second layout was inspired by the beginning of fall.
The background had been coloured with watercolors.

2Crafty Chipboards used:
Frienship mini word pack
Addy's butterflies
Ivy clusters
Corner Alison's

Most of my chipboard on this layout I have left natural
It just worked well with my colours.

I did color the ivy clusters with watercolor to create a focal point.

I put the two Alison's Corners in such a way to create a frame.

''Cherish''
for Kraft+challenge as guest DT for 2crafty chipboard

The Kraft+ challenge was about the past. I had to add some old scrapbooking things
such as velum, brads, rub ons etc.... I just had so much fun with this
challenge and I even keep my style.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Fine Word set 1
Fine Leafy Bush
Frame Louisa's
Dianne's Doily Set

All my chipboards were left natural.
I think the feeling of my layout is also a kind of natural.

I placed the Dianne's Doily under Frame Louisa's just to add more textures and dimensions.

I cut the Fine Leafy Bush to get two pieces.

I just added a few drops of mediums to add some textures too.

I hope I have given you some ideas to play with our beautiful  2Crafty chipboards...Have you?

Until next time.
