"Best Holiday Ever"
Layout and tutorial by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Here is my second inspiration of this month of June.
A summer layout with bright and sunny colors.

"Best Holiday Ever"

I made a video tutorial that you can watch HERE

The chipboards used:

- Best Holiday Ever
- Circle Dot Frames
- Flamingos
- Seaweed Set 1
- Palm Leaves Set

As you can see in the video, I started by applying a layer of with gesso on each chipboard.

I chose the 'Circle Dot' frame because it seems to be a good choice for my picture
on the theme of the sea. To give more relief, I used two circles,
one of which was used to frame my photo.

I again used distress oxide inks to embellish the chipboards, but applying them to the brushes
with a little water.
A blue "salty ocean" and for this adorable Flamingo a pink "picked raspberry".

I make a cluster of embellishment on the right by adding these pretty leaves "Palm Leaves".

The title is also painted blue, but to make it clearer,
I use a white chalk pencil and I go around the letters.

For more details, be sure to watch the video!

Thank you for your visit.

"Gorgeous"
Layout and tutorial video by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to meet you again to share my second inspiration for the month of August.

I chose to create a summer layout, here in France it is soon the end of the summer holidays,
we must take advantage of it. I was inspired by my grandniece’s photo, the sand, the sunglasses
her look that I love.

"Gorgeous"

I made a video tutorial that you can watch HERE

The 2Craftychipoard used:

- Mini Word Set 3
- Flamingos
- Intricate Seahorses
- Seaweed Grass Set 2
- Sea Shells Set 1
- Fishing Net Bits

To match with my photo that to a retro look of the 50s especially with the sunglasses
in the shape of flowers I wanted to create a vintage atmosphere.

I applied a layer of white gesso to each chipboard.

On the net, the shells, the plants, the seahorse I used wax of different shades.

On the "Flamingo" chipboard, I used pink embossing powder, which I then darkened with a darker wax.

I created my layout by first placing my photo and then I arranged the chipboards and paper embellishments.

For even more details, do not forget to watch the video and especially do not hesitate to leave your comments.

Personally as always I enjoyed creating with these wonderful chipboards.

See you soon!

"Amazing Day"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to meet you again and to present my new layout to you.

I chose to feature this beautiful "12 Flamingo Frame" chipboard
with this photo of a little girl "Lyna" traveling in Mexico.

"Amazing Day"

The chipboards used:

- Amazing Day
- 12" Flamingo Frame
- Flamingos

I started by applying a layer of white gesso on each chipboards.

On the chipboard "12 Flamingo Frame" I used different ink from Lindy's Gang
"Cape Cod Coral" and "Salt Water Taffy".

I then added patterns with Rub-on Transfers.

I really like these great chipboards to create a layout.

I then embellished with Lindy's Gang embossing powder also the "Flamingo"
chipboard and the title.

A shade barely darker than the large chipboard just to give a little contrast
between the material and the shine.

It's really great to be able to stage all these different chipboards.
There are so many choices to have fun.

It's up to you to try!

Baby and Flamingos
Layout by Elena Martynova

Hi my dear friends!!!
Today I want to inspire you with a project for 2CRAFTY CHIPBOARD
about a little girl and her adventures in the land of the flamingos.
This photo of my daughter was taken many years ago in a park near my house.
There were a lot of children of different ages walking there
therefore, all the walking has turned to endless games and entertainment :)))

I used four pieces of 2Crafty chipboard:

I added a texture paste, some splashes and excellent stamps to get a beautiful
 and more interesting background.

These wonderful Flamingos I painted with sprays, toned the edges with
a black stamp pad, painted some details with a liner and white acrylic paint.

The title from 6x4 Phrase Sticks Set 2  was painted with gold spray
and covered with two layers  of transparent embossing powder.

To make the chipboard Iron Gates more realistic,
 I covered it with that's Marble-ous powder by Lindy's .

Thank you for visiting us today here on the 2Crafty blog.
I hope you enjoyed my project and we’re inspired by it!

Have a good day and a lot of inspirations!
With love, Elena

August Layouts PLUS a VIDEO
By Valérie Ouellet

"Love"

Hello everyone!
For this creation, I had fun with my embossing powders. I have also made a
STEP BY STEP VIDEO to demonstrate my creative process.

Click the arrow to view the video....

I use several gold embossing powders.
I like to put several layers of powders to make it more opaque.
I cut the chipboard "Angie's Vines" into several parts to include
them in several places on my layout.

For the "Film strip" chippie, I use a black embossing powder first,
then a gold metallic powder to create a worn effect.

With the "Love-title", I began with a gold powder and then a brilliant one.

2Crafty Chipboards Used:

"Angie's vines"

  "Love Loopy Font"                            "Film Strips-Small"

"Capture"

For my second layout, I worked with very bright colors only with my acrylic paints.
I loved the little words from "Mini Word Set 1" and I used the word "capture"
as my title. I also added some of the little "Butterflies" that can be used anywhere.

I fell in love with the "Flamingos" that are really trendy. I then added a
beautiful foliage,  the "Esther Vine", to recall the nature and the summer pictures.
