Beck BT Says Goodbye
With Her June Project Shares

Hi, it's Beck Beattie here sharing with you my last projects.  I have had so much fun
playing with all the chippies, but unfortunately my term has come to an end. I will still
be sharing lots of chippy creations on my blog, so do head past there when you get time
(just click on my name at the bottom of the post)...
Well with all that sadness dealt with.... here we are with this months share!

  "Love is a Journey"
I used three different designs of chipboard on this canvas all in different way, and I
cant wait to show you how I incorporated different effects on each of them!

I also have video to share this month of this canvas I created. Hope you enjoy it!

I cut the circle lace panel into strips and then added to the corners of the canvas.  To add
more interest to them I first added Faber-Castell Black Chalkboard paint.  I then added colour
with Gelatos, followed by some  Gesso using a baby wipe to sponge it on.

I altered the corner Ivy chipboard piece and then added a gold colour spray.  I then added some   Gelatos in champagne and metallic melon over the top.  I also added some water with a mini mister to help the colours blend a little.

I added colour to the title piece with  Gelatos, followed by some  Gesso
using a baby wipe to sponge on

 "Masculine Card"
Today I also wanted to share with you a mixed media masculine card.

I enjoyed adding some different products on this one as well, altering the chipoard
colours in fun ways with various mixed media products.

I adhered the Stacked circles missing one in between size each time and then added
a coat of  Gesso.  I then added some Gelatos colour to the background.

I coloured up the 'Happy Birthday' words with a brown Faber-Castell PITT Artist Big Brush pen.

Next I added lots of layers of Gelatos in various colours for a mottled and aged look.

May Shares With Beck BT

Hi, it's Beck Beattie here.
Today I am sharing some fun projects featuring 2Crafty Chipboard of course!
I have had some fun with them this month adding some different effects to the chipboard pieces.

  "Sparkle"

I used 3 different designs of chipboard on this page and incorporated different effects on each one.

I also have  video to share this month of this scrapbook page I created.

For the Number Panels I first embossed the chipboard with an embossing folder and
die cut and emboossing machine.  I then added some Faber-Castell Gesso which I really
love as it is nice and thin perfect for rubbing on with my finger over the raised areas.

I then used some of the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Paper Crafter Crayons which
I melted onto my craft Sheet and then placed the chipboard pieces face down into the melted
crayon to give the mottled effect.  It dries almost instantly and gives such a fun colour addition!

Lastly I coloured the loveyoumore title with my black Faber-Castell's PITT Big Brush pen.

"Happy Birthday Card"
For my second project I created a sweet boy card using the same paper collection and products but focusing on using 2Crafty's chipboard perfectly made for smaller projects such as cards!

For the 'Happy Birthday' Sentiment and Chevrons, I coloured them using Faber-Castell's PITT Big Brush pens in black.  They have a high quality India Ink in them perfect for a lovely finish.

I wanted to give the stars a fun metal look so I coloured those using Faber-Castell - PITT Artist Pen in Silver.  Again this has a wonderful India ink in them for beautiful coverage

April Share with Beck BT

Hi, it's Beck Beattie here.
Today I am sharing some fun projects featuring 2Crafty Chipboard of course!
I love how effective they can look in both altered and natural states.

Today I'm going to share with you the use of both!

  But before we start....

"Be Yourself"

I was playing along with the Kraft+ challenge for this month which is black and white
on kraft with inspiration images.  2Crafty are a sponsor this month so it is an extra
awesome month to play along and hopefully win yourself some yummy chipboard!!

For my title I applied a coat of Indigoblu Cottage Paint in Pantry white.
Given the highly pigmented paints I only needed to apply one coat.

I love the natural kraft colour of the chipboard and thought they worked well to break
up the colours of the background, so I left both the diamond panel and star frame
pieces which I cut up and adhered in clumps, in their natural state.

For the Harlequin clumps I simply applied some black permanent ink with my
ink pad to colour them and adhere in clumps of three around the page.

"Amaze yourself Canvas"
For my canvas I layered some fun 2Crafty pieces for a striking effects onto a
layered mixed media canvas.

I once again painted the Amaze Yourself chipboard title with
Indigoblu Cottage paints in 'Pantry White'

The background piece I applied a coat of black ink by rubbing over it.

For the key I first coloured it with a gold marker and then embossed it through my
die cut machine with a sweet embossing folder, love how it came!
