"this moment"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everybody,

Like every first day of the month, I am happy to present my first inspiration to you.

I was inspired by the colors of this photo taken in Copenhagen in front
of these colorful houses with my little niece "Romy" and her cheeky smile.

"this moment"

2Crafty Chipboard used:

- this moment
- Circle Revolutions Frames
- Stitched Lace Border

I prepared the chipboards with a layer of white gesso and then covered
with Lindy's Gang "Bonjour Butter" colored embossing powder.

I then applied a little "Bronze Age" metallique wax to match my background paper.

I have arranged the large "Circle Revolutions Frames" chipboard.

Then I started the assembly of my page I used the chipboard "Stitched Lace Border"
to underline my layout I cut a piece which I then glued on top to give relief.

To highlight my photo I added another smaller "Circle Revolutions Frames".

I find chipboards add a lot of depth to a layout.

For the title, which is still very important to me, I just applied "Bronze Age"
metallique wax from Prima.

I then stuck it on part of the photo with adhesive foam.

Hope this layout has given you some inspiration
and you too will want to use these wonderful chipboards.

See you soon!

This moment
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Today I'd like to share a layout I did last week that about one of those little moments of pure joy in life where you remember that being with the ones you love is all that matters.
Sometimes you're not doing anything special, just sharing a little moment of cuddling and playing, and it is still the most rewarding moment as a mom.

"This moment"

On the "Chicken wire panel", at the back, I used silver embossing powder and dabbed some black embossing ink on top. For the "Steampunk Cog Strips", behind the button, I applied blue embossing powder roughly and then traced the border with black ink.

On the "Frangy", I applied blue embossing enamel and then traced the borders with black ink.

For the "Frame Alissa", I applied white paint to which I had added blue pigments. Then, once it was dry, I used a sandpaper to give it a more rustic look.

For the title, "This moment", I applied textured embossing powder, giving something of a coal look.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Frame Alissa [fr0125]
Frangy [m00121]
Chicken wire panel [m00400]
Steampunk cog strips [m00783]
This Moment [w00526]

That's all for me today!
I hope you enjoyed this layout and it gave you some ideas for your own creations.
I will be back in a few weeks with more ideas to share with you guys.
Until then, I wish you the best.

This Moment
by Marie Claude Rodier

Hello 2Crafty lovers!
Marie Claude here today to show you my latest layout using 2Crafty lovely chipboards.

This time, it's all about big swirls and how it adds movement to a layout.
Larger one are great as base behind photo and smaller one are perfect to embellish.

2Crafty has a lot of beautiful swirls in it's online store. Be sure to check them!

"This Moment"

"Modern Swirls" were embossed with a dark blue powder.
They were then placed upside down on each side of the photo to recreate wave movement.

In order to get a rough look,"This moment" title was distressed with sand paper
and then embossed with glossy white powder.

"Sharon's butterflies" were left natural, except for a few spots where white gesso was dry brushed.

"Love This Moment"
Layout by Karan Gerber

Hello 2 Crafty Friends

Its Karan here to host the blog for you today and I have a
layout I designed to share with you.

"This Moment"

I have said it before that titles that Vanessa designs for 2Crafty are just amazing,
like this one here on this layout.
 This Moment

The detail on this chipboard title was achieved by using Emerald Creeks Baked
Embossing Powders designed by Seth Apter. This one is Taos Sunset mixed with a
bit of Rust.
These powders when heated give this unique layer  to the chipboard and
really enhances the curves.

The heart was take apart to create three layers, I did two of the hearts with
baked Patina Oxide, it gives a color of rusted metal and looks pretty awesome.

The hand drawn heart and the gate were done the same way, I added
gold wax to the gate to give it added texture.

The thicker heart (which is actually the negative piece that holds the two Hand-drawn
Hearts together)  was given two coats of rust powder and I dabbed a bit of gold wax on top.

I cut the Elsa Frame in half after giving it some texture and placed
each one on either end of the photo.

I decided to go over some of the chipboard and highlight with a dab of Vintage Wax Gold,
I love how this turned out, hope I've inspired you to get scrapping!!
