Love
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello chipboard lovers!
My turn today to show you my first project for August.
This one is quite special... as I created it while I was on vacation in a little cottage in the mountains.
I only brought a few things with me to scrapbook, including beautiful 2Crafty chipboards.
Chippies are the best to complement and embellish any layout.

“Love”

Frame Alissa was covered with white gesso and then partially embossed with
Lindy’s Hyacinth Blue powder. A few spots were left white.

Love - Fine script was painted with white gesso and shaded with deep blue paint.
Corner Ivy were covered with white, light pink and blue watercolour paints.
They were cut apart and tucked under the flower die-cuts.

Sweet Cheeks
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello,

Strawberry picking is one of my kids favorite summer activities.
My youngest eats as much as he can... constantly searching for the biggest and tastiest ones.

Instead of using a warm color combo, I opted for black and white color
combined with blue, teal and brown tones.
And of course, I integrated a lot of 2Crafty chipboards.

Sweet Cheeks

Sweet Cheeks was painted with teal acrylic paint and highlighted with white gesso.

Summer Lovin' for Mini Title Stick Set 4 was dry-brushed with gesso and silver wax.

A few touches of  silver wax was used on Foilage Set 6.

Leafty Shrub Set 1 was partially covered with white gesso, teal watercolor and silver wax.

Lace Doily Frame was lightliy painted with brown acrylic, partially covered with teal watercolor and finally covered with white gesso and silver wax.

And that's just how we love him.

You will find a process video at the end of this post.
I hope you will enjoy it.

Loving these moments
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello lovelies,

It’s my turn today to show you my latest creation using beautiful 2Cratfy chipboards.

I am really longing for spring... I can’t wait for sunnier days and warmer weathers.
It’s no surprise that I was drawn to brighter colors as my starting point for this layout.

"Loving these moments"

Loving these moments title was embossed with vintage gold powder.

Frame Oval Ornate was covered with dark teal embossing powder.

Ivy Clusters were covered with vintage gold wax and then
highlighted with copper and white gold waxes.

Hello, love
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Valentine day is around the corner and for the occasion I created a little canevas
using several thematic 2Crafty chipboards.

 "Hello Love"

I started by randomly applying modeling paste through two stencils on my canvas.
Then, I base coated it and all the pieces with white gesso.
Thereafter, I glued everything in place using medium gel.

I wanted to created an ombre effect, and to do so, I started by appling a thick layer of pink acrylic paint in the middle of my canevas. I then sprayed water on it to create drips at the top and the bottom.

Once the pink paint was dry, I repeated the same process with red paint
mainly around "Hello Love title".

Finally, I dry brushed white gesso on top of everything to create contrast.

"His Smile"
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello lovelies!

While some are enjoying warmer days, in Canada, winter is in full season.
The kids are enjoying their playtime outside building snowmen and snow castles.

2Crafty store has a lot of winter-theme chipboards to play with.
I have used plenty on my latest layout.

 "His Smile"

"His Smile" title was embossed with mint powder, covered with one dry coat
of white gesso and then with one uneven coat of peacock wax.

"Flourish Adornment Set 6" and "Arial Spray" were embossed in white and partially
covered with peacock and silver waxes.

"St. Nicks and Stellar Snowflakes" were all coated with white gesso, then covered
with a mix of mint, peacock and old denim waxes.
Final touches of silver wax and dry brush white gesso we're also applied to them all.

Summer Fun
By Marie Claude Rodier
PLUS A PROCESS VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hello there!

I'm here to show my lastest project created with 2Crafty chippies.

Winter has finally arrived in Canada: snow is covering the ground,
temperatures are getting colder every day, winds are chilly...

But that didn't stop me creating a beach layout...As most of you may know by now,
they are my favourites. I am longing for warmer and sunny days!!!

You will find a process video at the end of this post.
I hope you will enjoy it.

"Summer Fun"

This time, I went with a clean and simple layout, mainly focusing
on inks, stamps and chippies, of course!

In order to get an ombre effect "Summer Fun" title was covered with
several layers of pale teal embossing powders.

"Frame Madeline's Flourish" was basecoated with white gesso and
embossed twice with dark blue embossing powder.

Both "Intricate Seahorses" were embossed with vibrant turquoise powder.
