It's Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas
By Ros Madley

"Merry Christmas"

A few months ago I made a canvas very similar to this for
Scrapbooking Memories magazine.

I wanted to make a matching pair but when I saw the new gorgeous
Christmas chipboard pieces I decided they definitely needed to go
on a canvas.  So now I have two different ones that match perfectly.

For this super cute Deer Set, I have used a gold and a shabby blue embossing powder.

The deer have been placed on a chipboard Tag, which I covered
with patterned paper and added a little ink around the edge.

For the deer antler and tails, I have painted them with glue and sprinkled on some glitter.
When this was dry, I used my fingers to rub a little off to give it a shabby look.

For the beautiful Festive Music Notes I have used acrylic paint.

"Love You"

The base of this canvas was started with a few Heart Clumps.
These have been embossed with a yellow embossing powder.

Layered around my photo are lots of Leafy Twig Branches.
I painted some acrylic paint on some of these and the others were
heat embossed in white.

Once again this month, a have used some hearts from the
ATC Hearts and Stars. I have used a big brush to colour these
and scattered them about the photo.

My title, Love You, has been heat embossed with two powders.
Love the look of this.

Athanasia' s Inspiration PLUS A Video Tutorial

'Nature'

Hello 2Crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing a layout I created about nature.
I found this super cute photo on Pinterest and went straight to my desk to scrap it!
I also made a step by step video with all the process and I hope you'll enjoy it :)

For this page I used a lot of 2Crafty chipboard pieces, not only leaves
and flowers, but also some leftovers which I always love to use on my projects!

In order to alter the chipboard pieces I used LSG embossing powders. They
are so easy to use and give to the chippies this amazing and awesome look!
I really like how they turned out!

Here are some close ups of the Wildflower pieces and the Flourishes from the Frame,
which were left over from another project.

More close ups of the Fiddlestick piece, which is sitting under the photo.

Below you can see the Fast Fwd Arrow

'Birthday Tag'

My second project is a birthday tag I made for my 6 years old daughter's friend.
It's like a card, but as it can't open like a regular card, I call it a tag :)
I love using photos on every kind of project I create even if it's a tag or a card.
To create this small and cute project, I used this pretty girlish photo,
a small piece of paper, some flowers, gold thread, gesso, sprays
 and these beautiful chipboard pieces!

I really love the fact that you can build such beautiful clusters and layers with such
a small amount of chipboard pieces. It's the best way to make a small piece of art
 with such few materials!

All of my chipboard pieces on this tag have also all been heat embossed.
It creates such a nice thick & lush look to the chippies.

Athanasia's first share

 'Imagine'

 Hello 2Crafty friends!
I'm very happy and honored to join this amazing team!
Today I'm sharing a mini canvas with lots of 2Crafty goodies!
I had a lot of fun altering the chipboard pieces
with sprays and embossing powders.

As my theme was about the sea, I chose these beautiful Bubble Clumps in order
to create some bubbles for my background. I have drawn some to make a
connection between the paper and the chipboard pieces. I also used the big
Circle Revolution Frame as a giant bubble to put inside my
fantasy: a walk on the seabed :)

I decided to use a black embossing powder to alter the word 'Imagine' in order to
create a little bit of contrast on the bluish composition... I really like how it turned out!

A walk to the bottom of the sea with a shark-pet requires some road signs as not to
cause traffic jam on the ocean streets, don't you think?
So I chose these cute Mini Fast Forward Arrows to create the street signs.
I altered them with embossing powders. I just love how cute they look!

'Bold and Beautiful'

My second project is an altered tag I got from a flower package.
I made it especially for a dear friend of mine.

I used a Tiny Victorian Frame to put this beautiful lady inside
and a flower from the Wildflowers set to decorate it.
I altered both of them with two shades of embossing powders.

For the cluster of the composition I used the Geneive Corner which I altered with
purple spray and butter shade embossing powder. I also used a beautiful scalloped
Element from Set 2. I cut it in half, altered both pieces with embossing powder
and glued them on top and bottom of the composition.

For more inspiration, here are some other projects
I created recently with amazing 2Crafty Chipboard.

I hope you liked my first share here!
