For my title I have used one of the 'Dream a little Dream', that I have embossed in a two-tone, white for the top and an ocean seafood colour for the bottom.
I really love how this one turned out,
it's not hard to love those gorgeous chipboard designs!
Also in this layout I used my favorite chipboard Dandelions
Last but not least I added a title to finish it off.
My second project:
ATC "Shards of Sea"
My series is named so for a reason. I took a sheet of clear plastic and cut it randomly into 4 pieces. Painted these pieces with alcohol ink and glued pieces of Mesh Bits.
Then I let go of the inspiration and began to create a composition
of pieces of gauze, shells, flowers, metal jewelry and beads.
Karine here today to share two layouts I created this month using the beautiful
2Crafty Chipboards pieces.
My first layout is called...
"Dream A Little Dream"
My starting point was this beautiful Frame Madeline's Flourish. I embossed it with
green embossing powder. I felt it was organic, so I chose earth tones for the rest of my layout.
My title piece is the beautiful Dream a Little Dream chipboard piece. I love the font
of the word Dream. I embossed it with the same embossing powder, as I thought my
layout missed a touch of green.
I used a lot of the Foliage Set 1 throughout my layout.
I embossed the foliage with a pale gold powder.

Frame Madeline's Flourish
Dream a Little Dream
Foliage Set 1
My second layout is much more ornate.
"Love You to the Moon and Back"
My starting point was the gorgeous moon piece from the Love You to the Moon set.
I covered it with gesso. Then, I used a stencil and modeling paste to give it some dimension.
I wanted it to look like the real moon, with its craters. I then covered it with Prima waxes.
It's so easy to use to color chipboards!
I used the same waxes to color my two Dreamcatchers.
I placed them towards the bottom of my layout.
Here and there, I scattered some stars from the Love You to the Moon set.
I embossed them with a glittery black embossing powder.
My title piece is also from the Love You to the Moon set.
It's my turn to show you my two layouts this month.
So, as it's summer in Canada, I wanted to do a layout that represents Summer.
I took a picture of our Summer vacation in 2014 : the Beach. Love the beach, and we
are going to the beach again for our vacation : yeah!
As you can see, I used a lot of chipboard, I used the Harlequin Clumps for my background.
I embossed them in a brown shade to contrast with the rest of the layout. I also used the Skeleton leaves to add a little extra to the flowers and the Scroll 3 below my picture to highlight the title.
"Day at the Beach"
Here you can see the title Day at the Beach, embossing with blue powder.
I also used the Frame Georgian to highlight my layout,
I love frames, they are so easy to use.
Another close-up to the Frame Georgian, I used both of them.
I really like the color combo brown/blue for an ocean layout!
I'm not used to those colors, but I really enjoyed it.

*****
For my second layout, I made a video tutorial.
I took a picture of my daughter which inspired me like she was dreaming.
That's why I chose the title "Dream a Little Dream".
To add a little punch to my page, I used the Interlocking Stick Panel which was
black embossed. As it's a feminine layout, I add the Whispy Dandelion. And of course,
I added some Skeleton Leaves.
"Dream a Little Dream"
Here for my title, Dream a Little Dream, I put a layer of white gesso and then I used
embossing powder. I like to put white gesso first as I found that we have a clean color
then with the embossing powder.
A little close-up on the Skeleton Leaves used with white embossing powder.
The Whispy Dandelions were stamped with black gesso to create a shadow.
Then I embossed them with light pink.
The Interlocking Stick Panel is black embossed with glitters.
