"Summer fun"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Exceptionally this month I will present you three projects, here is my second inspiration
a layout on the theme of the sea and a photo in black and white.

"Summer fun"

The 2Crafty chipboard used:

- Summer fun
- Intricate Seahorses
- Seaweed Set 3
- Mesh Bits

I don’t spend a summer without using these beautiful sea-themed chipboard models,
especially these "Intricate seahorses" I love them.

Once my layout is decided, I look for the best shades to embellish the chipboards.

On the "Seaweed" chipboards I choose to use powder to emboss in different shades of blues.
For the "Seahorses" I opt for orange.

On the right side of my photo I make a cluster by superimposing the chipboards.

On the other side just a little reminder with also these "Mesh Bits" that I put around my photo.

The "Mesh Bits" were just coated with a gray metallic paint.

On the title it is also a metallic paint "Stormy Ocean" that I then rub with white gesso
to attenuate the shine.

I hope that this layout will seduce you, simple and effective everything I like.

I look forward to seeing you again very soon, thank you for your visit,
always appreciated.

Mesh bits
Beach from 6x6 Summertime themed sheet

have given them all just a single coat of gesso..

with a pastel pink & then a Rose gold ink...
And the Fine Word Memories inked with
Distress Oxide - Broken China ink!

Lastly the Sea Shells where I have inked them with
assortment of Distress Oxides - broken china, Peacock feathers,
Dusy Concord and Spun Sugar inks...

Sea projects by Elena

Hello crafty friends, Elena stopping by today to share
my latest projects for the 2Crafty Design Team.
I prepared two works, because I was inspired by our chipboards
and could not do one thing :)))

"Sea and Dog"

I've used the stunning St.Tropez collection by Prima to create this LO.
The photograph told me how to arrange the two pieces of paper: blue for the sky and
 brown for the soil.

I started by stencilling background circles using texture paste.

Next I made a clouds out of tissue paper and  refreshed it with sprays Lindy's.

I added stamping and Circle Flowers and Birds

Also in this layout I used my favorite chipboard Dandelions

Last but not least I added a title to finish it off.

My second project:

ATC "Shards of Sea"

My series is named so for a reason. I took a sheet of clear plastic and cut it randomly into 4 pieces. Painted these pieces with alcohol ink and glued pieces of Mesh Bits.

Then I let go of the inspiration and began to create a composition
of pieces of gauze, shells, flowers, metal jewelry and beads.

The main decoration of ATCs - chipboard Anchors  and Seahorses.

I tinted them a little with chameleon paint by the Fabrika Decoru and wax by Prima.

Added headlines-stickers by 7 DOTs.

In these ATCs and layout I have used the following
2Crafty Chipboard pieces:

That's it for today! I hope I could inspire you in one way or another.
Thank you for stopping by today!

"Sweet"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

For my layout today I was inspired by this photo
of a little boy, "Preyston".
it is a very recent photo but I printed it in a vintage way.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:

- Arrow word set 1
- Doodled-Frames
- Seaweed Set
- Winter Twig
- Mesh Bits

I wanted to keep the wood effect of the chipboards,
so I applied on each chipboard without insisting a little white gesso.

Then a mixture of white gesso with a turquoise ink
and to finish a little wax natural color.

Some close-ups:...

I found original to frame the boat the chipboard "Doodled-Frames"
is well highlighted this way.

Only on the title and on the chipboard "WinterTwig".

Flowers, pebbles, embellishments to sublimate everything and voila!

I like the effect.

I hope this creation has given you ideas to create you too!

See you soon..

October Inspiration "Love that smile"
By Marie Sabatier

I present here my inspiration of the month of October.

I chose these two pictures of my little girl at the beach
(I could not make the choice).
I printed the photos in sepia color.

I applied a pattern on the bottom of my page to give a little relief using a
stencil and a paste embossed and I covered with embossing powder and heated.

On all the chipboards I applied a layer of white gesso and
then a heat embossing powder in different colors.

Some close-ups :

Love those little hearts on the Heart BubbleSet

Embellishments and that's it !!!

For this page here the chipboards that I used :

- Love that smile Title
- Circle Revolution Frames (negative piece between the frames)
- Mesh Bits
- Heart Bubble Set

Circle Dot Frames
Leafy Shrub Set 2
Mini Word Set 1

Some close ups...

I created texture on my background by applying modeling paste through a stencil.
When dried, I used ''Cattail Copper Brown'' and ''Bayou Boogie Gold''
Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color my page.

I heat embossed the ''Circle Dot Frame'', the ''Leafy Shrub Set 2'' chipboards and the
title from the ''Mini Word Set 1''  with ''Byzantine Bronze'' Lindy's powder.

To finish, I added some Bronze micro beads and Plum Glass Glitter
and made some splatters with white acrylic artist ink.

''Live Laugh Love''

My second project is a canvas made with several chippies and lots of shells.

You can see the procedure on my VIDEO...

And a closer look at the details...

To start, I primed my canvas with white gesso. Then, I created texture with modeling
paste and a stencil and I heat embossed the pattern with some embossing powder.

I added some color with the ''Bayou Boogie Gold'' and the
''Cattail Copper Brown'' Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

I heat embossed the ''Mesh Bits'' and the ''Flourish 1'' chipboards with the ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' Lindy's powder and the ''Pointed Doily Frames'' with the ''Midnight Copper''. The title and some leftover chippies were also embossed with the ''Gilded Burgundy Brass'' powder.

Lastly I made some splatters with white artists acrylic ink.

Well, that's all for today...

See you again next month!
