"Baby Boy"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everybody.

Here I am for my second layout for this month of April.

Here in France, we are once again confined.
Fortunately, scrapbooking is here to change ideas.

I was inspired by this photo of a great-grandnephew born in December.
Like many babies, he had his first "photo shoot" and I fell in love with it.

"Baby Boy"

The chipboards used :

- Word "Baby Boy"
- 2020
- Love you to the Moon
- Dreamcatchers

I used this beautiful moon particle board as the main piece of my page.

I applied a coat of white gesso on each chipboards.

On the moon particle board, I applied rub-ons matching my paper
then a coat of "Stormy Ocean" acrylic paint with a brush
and with a slightly damp paper cloth I dabbed with acrylic paint "Mermaid Sparkle".
I also added white opal wax until I got the effect I wanted.

Under the moon I added pieces of cardboard to give relief.

For the other chipboards I did the same.
I attached the "Dreamcatchers" chipboard under my photo and then added flowers below.

 I love this chipboard.

I embellished the title with Lindy's Gang "Silver Moon Mist" embossing powder.

Since I still had some room left, I added the particle board for the year of birth.
It is always a good idea to add the dates.

Finally I added the stars.

I hope this page will make parents happy.

For me, I loved making it with these splendid chipboards.

"This Boy"
Layout By Marie Sabatier

Today I have chosen to make a page with this picture of my little
grandson "LEO" who was born on August 29th. I thought I would use this
beautiful chippie moon and the dreamcatchers I so love.

Here are the 2Crafty chipboards I used...
- Word this boy
- Love you to the moon
- Dreamcatchers

I applied a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

For the moon I applied a coat of white acrylic paint
in fine grain paste to bring relief.

For dreamcatchers I applied a dark blue embossing powder
for a mixed media effect I added a little white gesso,
golden wax mini pebbles and glitter.

For the title I also apply powder embosser white glitter.

A new page that I hope will have inspired you!

Thank you for your visit.

Summer album by Elena Martynova

Hello my dear friends!!!
I'm always very sad when summer ends here in the northern hemisphere. And although
autumn is quite warm, but everyday it gets colder, the days are shorter and the rains
interfere to go for a walk.
With my work I want to remind you about the past summer, about the riot of colors,
singing birds and aromas of flowers.

"Life is Beautiful" - Summer Album

This album will store photos and records of the past summer. About sunsets,
sunrises, meetings with friends and family, about joys and adventures.
This chipboard doily decorates the album cover.

I've used a collection of paper "Botany summer" by Fabrika Decoru.

Inside the envelope for photos.

I made two more envelopes from the rest of the paper.

"Treasure" by Sabrina Turpin

Hi 2Crafty friends!

Today I would like to share with you a layout I just completed that features my daughter
Mila, having just undone her braids. Now proud of her wavy hair as we're visiting an
indoor surf center. I wanted to prepare a fitting layout, with a warm, Hawaiian feel.

For the title, "Treasure", part of the "Fine Word Set 1", I used a shabby white embossing enamel.
For the "Dreamcatchers" chipboard, behind the picture, I used a bronze embossing powder.

For the "Foliage Set 3", I used a blue-gold opaline paint and inked the board with a black ink.

On the "Indian Feathers", at the top-left of the flowers, I roughly applied black ink on the
contours while leaving the chipboards their natural color. For the other "Indian Feathers",
on each side of the title, I used rose-gold wax and traced the groves with a black ink pen.
I also inked the border of the feathers with black ink.

That's all for today! I hope you like the result and that it inspired you for
your own creations! See you soon with more ideas!
