'Paradise Found'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here with some more scrappy inspiration for you.

'Paradise Found'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I have used one of the 'Seaweed Set 1',
that I have finished in a watercoloured blues,
and tucked into my elements.

I also used a few of the 'Seashells Set 2',
also finished in multiple shades of blues.

I then used one of the 'Intricate Seahorses',
also finished in aqua blues.

For my title, I used the 'Paradise Found' title,
again finished in the multiple blue shades.
I have layered this over one of the 'Old Fence' pieces,
which I have left raw and layered
with some of the 'Seashells Set 2'.

I really like the blue shades
over the natural raw finish of the chipboard.

I just love the fun beach colours and vibes to this layout.
I hope that you like it too!

Until next time,

Lisa

Oh and when I was making this post I was astonished on how much chippies I used didn't even realised it. Enjoy my post...

On the fishing net bits I added some rust paste but only the brown color . This was a really fun layout to create it only took me like more then six hours...

"Sunshine & Blue Skies"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well!
For my new project this August, I designed a summer layout.
The photo shows my little niece exploring the sandy beaches of Mauritius and its treasures.
Receiving new photos that stimulate my creativity is always a source of joy for me.

"Sunshine & Blue Skies"

The chipboard used:

- "Sunshine & Blue Skies"
- 6" Circle Revolution Frames
- Anchor & Buoy Set
- Intricate Seahorses
- Mini Bubbles Squares Clumps
- Mini Word Set 4

After finding the chipboards that inspired me to create my layout,
I start by applying a layer of white gesso.
The "Circle Revolution", "Buoy", "Mini Bubbles" and the mini word "Explore"
were embellished with a white embossing powder.

To finish off the base group I added "Mini Bubbles Square Clumps" particle board. Divided in two.
It brings a little touch of fantasy.
The white sets it apart from paper embellishments.

I chose a Distress embossing 'Faded jeans' powder for the other chipboards but I suspect that I have it for a while and that I have a "grainy" effect.
But in the end I liked the result, it gives a "sand" aspect (lol)!

Another way to use the beautiful 2Crafty chipboards is presented here!
It is available from your favorite seller or directly on https://2crafty.com.au/.

Thank you very much!

"Good Times" Mixed Media Panel with Amy Voorthuis

 Hi lovely 2Crafty Friends,
On this grizzled day in my part of the world I bring you some summer vibes,
because I for sure need it. For today's post I made a mixed media panel with three pictures of our Abbey on the beach in Greece last summer. I was planning on posting this panel for a challenge but then I thought I have used a bunch of beautiful 2Crafty Chippies that I could better post it as one of DT projects here. Enjoy my post....

Good Times:

 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Intricate Seahorses
Seashells Set 2
Seaweed Set 1
So Much Fun Title
Industrial Spring Set
Line Words - Good Times

As you probably know by now I always gesso my chippies first most of the time I do two layers. I treated my two text chipboard pieces & the seahorses with two colors of embossing powder I jus really love that effect.

This wooden panel is 4 by 12 inch I just love to work with that size, a while back I saw a wonderful piece of art on pinterest with a whole bunch of frames {sadly I don't know the maker} After I saw that gorgeous piece I really wanted to make something like that myself.
The rest of the chipboard pieces are decorated with embossing powders. I only left the beautiful seashells raw I only added some shimmer spray and a touch of white wax

So this was my first project of the month june, thank you so much for stopping by I will be back later this month with another project hope to see you back then....

"My Sunshine August 2023" with Amy Voorthuis

Goodmorning lovely 2Crafty friends,

I am so happy you are visiting this blog today for this post I made a layout again.
For this layout I have used tons of amazing chippies and a picture of Abbey on the beach in Greece August 2023. For this layout I have used the pretty new beach paper collection called {the beach is calling} by the other company I design for. I really enjoy working with all the pretty chipboard pieces by 2Crafty Chipboard.
I had so much fun creating this layout that I am going to make another one hahaha enjoy my post...

My Sunshine August 2023:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Intricate Seahorses
Your Smile is Like Sunshine Title
Seaweed Set 1
Seashells Set 2
Reeds
2023's
Photo Adornment Flynn's Flourish
Photo Adornment Larinda's Flourish
Thin Square Stacked Frames
Industrial Spring Set
Achor & Buoy Set
Fine Word Set - Months

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces.

All the chipboard pieces are treated with white gesso on the seashells I used some matte acrylic paint and on the edges I added some brown wax to mimic the rocks in the picture. I couldn't help myself while I was creating this layout I kept on adding more and more chippies. I cut out the word "Sunshine" out of the beautiful phrase "Your Smile is Like Sunshine Title" but firstly I wanted to use the whole phrase but it became to cluttered on my work so I left the rest out.

On the photo adornments & reeds I added some white crackle paste and later I added some spray paint and matte acrylic paints to make them look a little weathered. The word sunshine was coloured in three different colors white, light blue and dark blue to match my layout.

The seahorse I coloured in three different colors I used some waxes & several acrylic paints. On the backgound of my layout I added some coloured crackle paint which I coloured with magicals powders. I also altered the flowers myself to fit my layout and in the end I added some white spray paint, art stones & some antique jewels.

'Summer Lovin'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's Lisa here on the blog today to share some
2Crafty inspiration with you.

Summer Lovin'

2Crafty products used:
Intricate Seahorses
Seashells Set 2
Fishing Net Bits
Seawood Set 1 & 2

For this layout, I have used quite a few of the sea-themed pieces and sets,
including the seaweed from the 'Seaweed Set 2'
that I have finished with orange watercolour paints.

To get the bright vibrant colours from my watercolour paints,
I first sponge two coats of gesso onto my chipboard.

Here I have used one of the seashells from the 'Seashells Set 2', again finished in orange.

I have also given a blue watercolour finish to another of the pieces from the 'Seaweed Set 2',
I start by layering the different blues from lightest to darkest.

I have then used some of the 'Fishing Net Bits',
that I have used brown watercolours to finish.
I layered this with my photo and one of the pieces from the 'Seaweed Set 1',
and a starfish from the 'Seashells Set 2'

To finish I have used one of the 'Intricate Seahorses',
that I have again finished with watercolours, in yellows and oranges.

I really like how this layout turned out,
I wanted to keep my chipboard having the
watercolour vibes of my papers and I think it worked well.

I hope that you like what I have created and
I will see you soon with some more inspiration!

Until next time!

Lisa
