I've created a PICTURE TUTORIAL for you to view my creative process:...

Step 1:  Add some light stamping along with some masking using a light gel medium
and then embossing with light pink embossing powder.

Step 2:  Begin your layering process.

Step 3:  Continue to build up your layers.

Step 4:  Add your photo.

Step 5:  Add chipboard:  Frankie's Frame, Edgar's Swirls and Trudi's Vine along with flowers.
Apply some additional stamping along the edges of your paper background.

Step 6:  Add additional flowers to the right of the photo and build up some paper layers.
Add your title and Element Set 1.

I hope I have inspired you.
See you next month!

June Inspiration by Debbie

Hi everyone!  Debbie here with you today to share my June projects.

I found the picture on Pinterest and immediately knew I had to use it on a layout.
I did some minimal masking on the background paper and added some paint splatters.  A beautiful picture, lots of flowers and an array of 2Crafty Chipboard!

Corner Twisted Vine
Elsa Frame
Ornate Screen
Butterfly Frames
Corner Alexia's
Fine Word Set 2
Lavender Shrub

To the left and right of the photo I placed the Elsa Frame which I cut in half and embossed with antique taupe embossing powder.  I wanted to mimic a garden gate.  I embossed the Corner Alexia's also with antique taupe powder and cut it in half and used at the bottom sides of the photo.  Among the flowers I placed the Corner Twisted Vine, embossed with verdant and antique taupe powders.

At the top of the photo I placed the Ornate Screen, embossed antique taupe, along with the title.
To the side I placed the Lavender Shrub embossed with verdant powder.

Here you can see more of the Lavander Shrub, along with the Butterfly Frame embossed with plum powder.

May Inspiration By Kavitha

Hello everyone,

Kavitha on blog today to share some inspiration for May.

Whimsical watercolor layout...

My inspiration for this layout is the gorgeous pattern paper from 13arts,
I  just wanted to extend the colors and pattern of the paper and
2crafty chipboard helped me to do that beautifully.

I created the watercolor background using Lindys sprays.
The chipboards are coated two times with heavy white gesso and
I used the same background colors for the chipboard pieces,
drying each color in between.

I finished off the layout with some sequins, beads and splashes of white paint.

2Crafty chipboards used:
6" circle revolution frame
Butterfly frames
Corner vine leaves
Frame madeline's flourish

Two Hearts - Canvas

The focal point of this canvas is the delicate Handdrawn hearts.
I mounted them in the center of the canvas, coated with white gesso.

After coloring the background partially, leaving lots of white space,
I arranged the flowers and embellishments. I have used leafy shrub#3
among my flower cluster which is also just coated with white gesso.

"A Mother Is a Special Kind of Friend"
A Project By Priscilla Lim

Hello 2Crafty fans,
It's my turn today to share my creativity.
Since Mother's Day was last Sunday, I bet many of us have taken great photos with our lovely mum.
What better idea than to document the sweet memories. Agree?
Here's my project on a photo taken when we went out to celebrate Mother's Day.
I have created this project on a 12x12 canvas cause this will be a gift for my dearest mum too.

Here are some close up photos and details of the chipboards.
Note that I have given all the chipboards a good layer of black gesso.

The chipboard title was given a good misting with Tattered Angels
 Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.

The texture on the background was created Liquitex Ceramic Stucco, Winsor & Newton Glass Beads Texture Gel, Tattered Angels Mist and Kaisercraft Paint :)

In this photo, I'm zooming down to the rose vine which I have given a a coat of glimmer paint.
This allows the chipboard to have some bling and gloss at the same time.
This look is achieved with Tattered Angels Glimmer Paint instead of using the mist.
I love the overall effect of how the chipboards have stood out so well on this page.
Painting a layer of black gesso has created an absolute contrast on the canvas.
