"A Mother Is a Special Kind of Friend" A Project By Priscilla Lim

Hello 2Crafty fans, It's my turn today to share my creativity.  Since Mother's Day was last Sunday, I bet many of us have taken great photos with our lovely mum.  What better idea than to document the sweet memories. Agree? Here's my project on a photo taken when we went out to celebrate Mother's Day.  I have created this project on a 12x12 canvas cause this will be a gift for my dearest mum too.  

  Here are some close up photos and details of the chipboards.  Note that I have given all the chipboards a good layer of black gesso.  

The chipboard title was given a good misting with Tattered Angels
 Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.

The texture on the background was created Liquitex Ceramic Stucco, Winsor & Newton Glass Beads Texture Gel, Tattered Angels Mist and Kaisercraft Paint :)

  In this photo, I'm zooming down to the rose vine which I have given a a coat of glimmer paint.  This allows the chipboard to have some bling and gloss at the same time.  This look is achieved with Tattered Angels Glimmer Paint instead of using the mist.
