Priceless Memory by Tania Ridgwell

 Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for August.
I have created a layout for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Corner Whispy Vines
*Mini Title Stick Set 5
*Priceless Memory Title
*Frame Messy Squares 6"

I have used the gorgeous 49 & Market 'Nature's Haven' Collection to create the base for my layout.

I first gave all my chippie pieces a couple of coats of gesso.  Once dry I mixed some Pink Heidi Swapp Color Shine with some more gesso and painted it onto the Messy Square chippie.  I did the same with the Corner Whispy Vine chippies but instead used Citron Heidi Swapp Color Shine to colour them.  I also randomly added a little Pink/gesso mix to the the Corner Whispy Vine Chippies.  For the Priceless Memory Title chippie I added the Pink/gesso mix to it and once dry I added another coat of gesso over top.

I added the Messy Square Frame chippie to my photo attaching it on an angle and then added it to my base page.  I added a Corner Whispy Vine chippie to each side of my photo.  Embellished around my photo with lots of paper blooms and finished off my layout by adding the Priceless Memory Title chippie and a couple of smaller chippie Titles from the Mini Title Stick Set 5.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Winter Wonderland
By Marie Claude Rodier

 Hello lovelies,

Even if there isn’t any snow on the ground yet, winter is coming in my part of the world. And this year especially, I can’t wait to get out and enjoy as much as possible outdoor activities. It will be so good for the soul to breath fresh air and play in the snow.

This layout is all about Canadian winter: nature, family and fun.

It’s Winter Wonderland

I used soft and light color palette for this peaceful inspiration, snowflake pattern paper and lots of fun coordinated 2Crafty chipboards.

Winter Wonderland was basecoated with gesso and painted with light blue Shimmerz.

The same technique was used for Corner Whispy Vines. Pieces were cut apart and tucked under on each side of the main clustering.

Star Bright snowflakes were also basecoated with gesso. A light pink embossing powder was also applied over them.

"A Mother Is a Special Kind of Friend"
A Project By Priscilla Lim

Hello 2Crafty fans,
It's my turn today to share my creativity.
Since Mother's Day was last Sunday, I bet many of us have taken great photos with our lovely mum.
What better idea than to document the sweet memories. Agree?
Here's my project on a photo taken when we went out to celebrate Mother's Day.
I have created this project on a 12x12 canvas cause this will be a gift for my dearest mum too.

Here are some close up photos and details of the chipboards.
Note that I have given all the chipboards a good layer of black gesso.

The chipboard title was given a good misting with Tattered Angels
 Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.

The texture on the background was created Liquitex Ceramic Stucco, Winsor & Newton Glass Beads Texture Gel, Tattered Angels Mist and Kaisercraft Paint :)

In this photo, I'm zooming down to the rose vine which I have given a a coat of glimmer paint.
This allows the chipboard to have some bling and gloss at the same time.
This look is achieved with Tattered Angels Glimmer Paint instead of using the mist.
I love the overall effect of how the chipboards have stood out so well on this page.
Painting a layer of black gesso has created an absolute contrast on the canvas.

November Inspiration
By Priscilla Lim

Hi 2Crafty fans,
My turn today to share some inspiration.
Usually in November, many will be sharing Christmas themed inspirations.
However, in Singapore we are sunny 365 days a year.
That means we don't get a snowy winter, but summer the whole year through!
The layout I'm sharing below is to document my boy's first sailing experience.
The sentiment chipboards, Go, See, Do are from the Mini Word Travel Set
and is just so apt for this day :)

You may have noticed that I left some of the chipboards in their original raw state.
Well I purposely left it in it's natural body cause 2Crafty chipboards are just
so gorgeous.  Here are some close ups for a better look.

I hope that this layout will also break the barrier for new crafters that are sitting
on the fence about their creativity with chipboards.
To add on, I have created a short 6 minute video on the whole creative process.
Thank you in advance for taking some time to watch it.

November Layouts By Valerie Ouellet

"Forever"
Hi everyone! For this layout, I used the new chippie "Triangle Set". I used the chipboard as a stencil to cut triangles. I had already done a background with brush. I glued my triangles on the chipboard.

I cut "Corner Whispy Vines" to create a swirl that I embossed with a gold embossing powder.
Finally, my title comes from the kit "Mini Word Set 2". I only stained it with black ink.

"Inked"

For my second layout, I used a piece of "Leafy Shrub Set 1" that I embossed in gold.
I added small gold glitter everywhere around. The "Film Strips" is integrated really easily.
I only put black ink on it.

"Bubble clumps" are my favorite one. I like to cut only part of it to add them on my page.
