"Love That Smile"
Layout by Elena Martynova

Hi! Elena here with my new layout for my favorite 2Crafty!

I chose a picture of a cute girl reading a book on the window.
And the palette of this photo determined my choice
of paper and decorative elements.

"Love That Smile"

Beautiful branches of Chloe's Vines chipboard are painted black.
Then I tinted a little metallic green and added textures with a stamp and embossing powder.

The title Love that Smile is covered with two layers of black powder.
Which gave it more volume and Shine.

Very beautiful elements in the Doily Disc Set 1
They are painted with brown-gold metallic paint and sprinkled with two types of powders.
One of them with large particles.

These doilies look like exotic fairy flowers on the branches of Chloe's Vines.

Perhaps the girl in the photo is reading a book of fairy tales, and her imagination turns
the walls of the room into a wonderful world inhabited by fairy-tale characters.

I also added some flowers, lace and a large glitter.

2Crafty chipboard was used:
That's all for today.

We thank you so much for coming by and for supporting us here at 2Crafty.

I'll see you next time!

Cheers, Elena.

"Love That Smile"
By Marie Claude Rodier
PLUS A PROCESS VIDEO TUTORIAL

Hi there!

I'm here to show my lastest project I created with 2Crafty chippies.

When I see such a mischievous smile appear on my son's face, I know that something
is about to happen.... He likes to joke and play tricks on everyone around.
And that's just how we love him.

You will find a process video at the end of this post.
I hope you will enjoy it.

"Love That Smile"

"Love that smile" was embossed with Lindy's Burgundy Brass powder.

"Ava's Frame" was basecoated with white gesso and embossed with Lindy's Golden Wing powder.

"Moroccan Bits" were painted with cream acrylic and white gesso.

'Love that Smile'
by Tammy Klingner

Hello there!!

Tam here today and I've just popped in to share my latest layout titled:

"Love that Smile"

A layout celebrating special time with my gorgeous girl.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

"Love that Smile Title"
"Sharon's Butterflies"
"Lattice Leaves"
"11 inch Fine Floral Frame Set"
"12 inch Revolution Frames"

I coated everything with white gesso.

I then added white acrylic paint to the largest of the "12 inch Revolution Frame" and used this as the base for the layout.

I then used Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks to add colour to all the other pieces.

I love the mottled effect this gives.

I mixed the colours on the "11 inch fine flowers frame" - some pinks, some purple and some blues.

I love the variegated look and I really love the detail in the flowers and leaves.

I used a few different greens in all the leaves too, including the "Lattice Leaves".

I layered these on top of the circular frame, tucking a few paper flowers underneath.

I chose pink and yellow on the "Sharon's butterflies" and on the "Love that Smile title" as this gave a beautiful contrast to the flowers.

How gorgeous is that ombre effect?

Why not give it a go?

I hope I've inspired you to try Scribble Sticks on your chipboard!
A fun way to add colour!

October Inspiration "Love that smile"
By Marie Sabatier

I present here my inspiration of the month of October.

I chose these two pictures of my little girl at the beach
(I could not make the choice).
I printed the photos in sepia color.

I applied a pattern on the bottom of my page to give a little relief using a
stencil and a paste embossed and I covered with embossing powder and heated.

On all the chipboards I applied a layer of white gesso and
then a heat embossing powder in different colors.

Some close-ups :

For this page here the chipboards that I used :

More Inspiration from Elisa Ablett

'Love that Smile'

Hi Crafters,

Thanks for stopping by the Blog today.

Elisa here from the design team with my latest inspiration for you;
a colourful boho style mixed media layout featuring some lovely pieces
of 2Crafty Chipboard and a half mandala background design featuring
the new Nuvo Shimmer Powders and Finnabair Metallic Wax.

2Crafty Products used:

Amelia Flower Stem - Large
Polaroid Frames
Love that Smile Title

Firstly, for my title I inked the chipboard in a metallic matching ink
and then roughly coloured over the top with a darker purple paint marker,
it matches perfectly with the script/handwriting of the title.

Next, I coloured the Polaroid frame in with a black glitter marker to
create a solid base for my photo cluster and to make the
colours pop a little more on my next piece of chippie.

For next piece of chipboard 'Amelia Flower Stem', I decided to alter by
first painting it black, then while still wet dipping it in the liquid made
by adding water to my Nuvo shimmer powders. I used the same shimmer powders
on my background as well to add colour and dimension to my mandala.

You can see that shimmer and shine happening on the chippie!

Add a bit of metallic wax by smoothing over the black modelling paste and the black chipboard
with a make up sponge or a dauber. Last details ! add some hand cut butterflies from acetate and paper to add to the boho look of your layout. You could also add feathers or wire or beads as well.

That's it from me today!

I hope you been inspired to try your very own Boho style layout complete with awesome Chipboard!

Hugs xx
