This layout featuring a photo of my boy

with our newest member of the Family - Storm back in 2020.....

Fine word set - Months

Let's start with the ever so gorgeous little pawprint strip

where I have randomly dabbed this strip with some gesso...

Next I have added some of the  Paws & hearts set

where I have very lightly & carefully dabbed on gesso to the paws

& inked the hearts from this set with black....

Lastly! is of course the DATE..

And the 2020, with brown...

 Rach with you today sharing my most recent layout I have created,

this masculine/grungy boys layout...

Papers I have used are Uniquely Creative - Steampunk graffiti

Along with these awsome 2 Crafty chipboard pieces:

Paws & Hearts set

Let's start with these SUPER C.U.T.E &

from the newly released Paws & Hearts set......  JUST look at those paws😍

I have just simply given these paws a very light coat of gesso...

Next are the hearts I have inked them with this perfect mid blue..

Then found a couple of the  Tiny Stars from the ATC - Tiny hearts & stars

 floating at the bottom of my chipboard draw, inked them black and they look great..

Next is my title Adventure BOUND 2020

One of my MANY FAVORITE 2 Crafty Chipboard titles, 

it's the font style for me with this one, inking it with this fab color orange..

AND lastly, I have added  the year 2020 Inking it black..

featuring the SUPER CUTE photo of my daughter,

 back in the day when they were so eager to let me take photos LOL....

Angel Wings

Let's start with the date, Now if you wanted you could contact 

2 Crafty Chipboard and Vanessa would happily create a sheet of what every date you are after,

 but I already had plenty of 2020 & 2019.

 so I made my 2009 by cutting out the 2 from the 2020 and then cutting the 9 from 2019 

and inking it with this lovely red..

Next are the gorgeous Angel Wings,  I have inked these set of wings with Tim Holtz - Speckled egg 

Then I have sitting underneath my photo  12x12 Stacked Film Strips, 

which I have cut in half and with a paint brush added some gesso.

I also added gesso too a few of the ATC - Tiny Stars...

Lastly for my ttile Too Cute for the naughty list, Simply inking this with the same red 

used for the year 2009...

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU everyone for all your sweet supportive comments in 2024..

"love" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present you my first inspiration of this month of February. 

As Valentine’s Day approached, 

I thought it would be wise to make a layout on the theme of love. 

I chose this photo of my eldest son with his wife

and this beautiful chipboard "Fine Floral Love Frame" that I use for the first time.

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- 12x12 Fine Floral Love Frame

- Old World Key/Lock Set

- 2020's

I just received my Design Team package and I am completely seduced 

by this beautiful chipboard "Fine Floral Love Frame".

I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

To embellish the chipboard "Fine Floral Love Frame", I use embossing powder of Lindy’s Gang 

color "Hibiscus Rose Orange".

I emphasize the word 'love' and the little hearts with a more sustained color.

I limited the use of cutouts because I wanted to highlight the framing.

I add the chipboards "Old World Key/Lock" that I previously embellished with shiny wax "Lucky Emerald". The key to love! 

For the year "2020", I sprinkle random embossing powder 

The result is very close to my pink paper.

I hope this presentation will inspire you to sublimate your Valentine’s Day photos.

Aztec arrow set

Let's start with the Aztec arrow I have sitting across my photo

I have simply given it two coats of gesso..

I also added some gesso to a couple of the ATC Tiny hearts & the 2020

OK! So here's the thing, 😏

 I was so focused on  inking the title with black ink 

 then went and put up against the beautiful Frame lace heart and thought oh  wow

how good that looks & glued it to the frame before 

even giving it any more of a thought 

about what I was going to do to the gorgeous lace frame.. LOL

 

Thank goodness it worked out & looks SO GOOD...

Artdeco oval frame

If you are a regular you would know that I am a big fan of adding the date 

to most of my layouts and with this layout the date is in fact my title... 

Inking the 2020 with silver ink & the October with burgundy...

The Roses are inked with a lovely dust pink and the 

Artdeco oval frame inked with the same burgundy color as the October...

I find just simply inking the chipboard  pieces is a simple

 but effective way to jazz up any project...

"One of a Kind" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to meet you again to present my second inspiration for this month of September.`

A simple vintage layout with a picture of my grandson taken two years ago.

"One of a Kind"

The 2CraftyChipboard used:

- One of a Kind

- 6 inch Zipper Frames

- Industrial Light Bulbs

- 2020

I embellished all my chipboards in the same way by applying a layer of gray metallic paint which I then rubbed with a "bronze age" metallic wax.

I love these "Industrial Light Bulbs" particle boards. To give them an aged look, 

I lightly rubbed with a file.

I first positioned the embellishments papers and my photo by adding the chipboard "Zipper frame". 

I like to add a date chipboard to remind me how time flies.

After arranging my entire layout, I finish with the title.

Here, a simple layout with beautiful chipboards!

 Hi everyone & the warmest of welcomes to you all!

Rach with today sharing another bit of 2 Crafty inspiration

This masculine/grungy layout...

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

6" Zipper frame

(Explore)Mini Word set 4

Mini Border 1

With the chipboard pieces, I've used

 I have kept it relatively simple,

 either inked with black OR a nice thick coat of gesso...

Dabbing the gesso with a sponge to the 

 6" Zipper frame, (Explore)Mini Word set 4 & Mini Border 1

to give these pieces a real nice textured finish...

Once I inked the Aztec Arrows with the black

I cut one of the arrows in half, then glued them onto my paper layers..
