"good times"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Today I’m sharing a bonus layout featuring sweet photos of my grandson Milan. He is currently in that imitation stage, and here he is “pretending to talk on the phone”, which makes this moment both playful and incredibly heartwarming. I used the beautiful Plume & Petal collection from 49 and Market to highlight these memories.

"good times"

The chipboard used:

The 2CraftyChipboard pieces play a key role in this layout. Before coloring them, I first applied a light coat of white gesso to help the inks blend smoothly and to achieve a softer, more subtle finish.
The “Decorative Circle Accents Set 1” adds texture and interest behind the photos.

I used the largest piece and cut it into two parts to better integrate it on each side of the composition. I then colored them using only Victorian Velvet to enhance the soft purple tones while keeping a delicate and cohesive look.

The “Hand-drawn Feathers” add movement and elegance to the composition. I used Faded Jeans and Victorian Velvet, blending the colors softly to create a subtle gradient that echoes the feathers in the background paper.

I used the “Line Words Good Times” as my main title. I colored it with Distress Oxide inks Frayed Burlap and Victorian Velvet to create a soft, slightly distressed and warm look that blends beautifully with the page.

I really love how chipboards bring dimension and detail while staying perfectly cohesive with the collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you soon with more inspiration!

Memories - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
I am back to share my next layout!
A masculine layout I created of my husband, stepson and friend working on Sebastian's motor.

2Crafty Products used;

Harlequin Clumps
Line Words Good Times
Grungy Splatter Bits
Mini Checkerboard Bits
Steampunk Gears Small
Steampunk Gears Medium
Steampunk Gear Border
Hanging Steampunk Lightbulb Set

I covered all of the chipboard pieces with texture paste then I began painting, misting and inking each piece

I used pumpkin impasto paint first then added some blue brusho powder and Lindy's cattail brown mist.  I wanted each piece to be different.

To highlight the texture on each chipboard piece I dry brushed white paint and then added some art stones that I dyed to match.

I wanted the title to stand out from grungy background and to accomplish that I painted a few coats of the pumpkin impasto paint then heat embossed it with orange embossing powder.

Good Times - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!

Creating simple and multi photo layouts are a great way to record fun memories with friends!

2Crafty Products Used;

Seaweed Set 1
Line Words - Good Times
Harlequin Clumps
Anchor and Buoy Set
Seashells Set 2
Banners Flags

We had such a good time that day so the title piece was perfect!  I inked and heat embossed the title!

After inking the seashells I added a bit of copper paint

The anchor and wheel were perfect accents for a layout about spending the day on the water

I wanted to keep the layout fun and watery so when I painted the banners and used dimensional paint!

"Good Times" Mixed Media Panel with Amy Voorthuis

 Hi lovely 2Crafty Friends,
On this grizzled day in my part of the world I bring you some summer vibes,
because I for sure need it. For today's post I made a mixed media panel with three pictures of our Abbey on the beach in Greece last summer. I was planning on posting this panel for a challenge but then I thought I have used a bunch of beautiful 2Crafty Chippies that I could better post it as one of DT projects here. Enjoy my post....

Good Times:

 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Intricate Seahorses
Seashells Set 2
Seaweed Set 1
So Much Fun Title
Industrial Spring Set
Line Words - Good Times

As you probably know by now I always gesso my chippies first most of the time I do two layers. I treated my two text chipboard pieces & the seahorses with two colors of embossing powder I jus really love that effect.

This wooden panel is 4 by 12 inch I just love to work with that size, a while back I saw a wonderful piece of art on pinterest with a whole bunch of frames {sadly I don't know the maker} After I saw that gorgeous piece I really wanted to make something like that myself.
The rest of the chipboard pieces are decorated with embossing powders. I only left the beautiful seashells raw I only added some shimmer spray and a touch of white wax

So this was my first project of the month june, thank you so much for stopping by I will be back later this month with another project hope to see you back then....

Good Times - Laura Gilhuly

Hi! Laura here to share my next creation with you!

I love texture so I had a lot of fun creating this layout of our boys years ago when we and our friends made a demolition derby car!

2Crafty chipboard used:

After covering the paper with clear gesso I added some texture paste (dyed with Lindy's hot poker orange magicals) then used finnabair wax and rubbed on the stenciled surface to highlight it.

To alter the awesome chipboard I covered each piece with white gesso then added heavy texture paste and heat set.  I started spraying with different mists and used the wax to highlight.

For the title piece I used gesso, then texture paste, then coloured it with
an orange Gelato art crayon.

"Precious and Happy Memories" By Amy Voorthuis

 Goodmorning lovely 2Crafty friends,
Today is my turn to show you some inspiration on this wonderful blog. For this occasion I made a layout with some beautiful 2crafty chippies and this time I made something inside my comfort zone. For this layout I have used another pretty paper collection with pink, green and a little blue and a picture of our Abbey in Greece last August.

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces.

Precious and Happy Memories

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Line Words - Good Times
Word Circle Set 1
Lacey Border Set 1
Reeds
Fine Word Set 2
2023's
Loopy Heart Swirl
Fine Word Set - Months
Foliage Set 6
Mini Title Stick Set 5

I treated most of my chipboard pieces with black gesso but for the leaves I used white gesso. After that I added some rust paste & some waxes. For the leaves I added some acrylic matte finish and I used some spray paint.

The word strips I painted black and for the letters I added a white pen which sadly was not working as I had hoped. On the 2023 I added a layer of pink acrylic paint. In the end I sprayed with some white paint to make it blend a little more.

Memories
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

I hope everyone is doing great!
Today I'm sharing a layout featuring my two besties in a picture taken back in simpler, pre-pandemic times. I can't wait to meet them again in a few days, as restrictions are being slowly lifted.

"Memories"

For the "Weeping Vine", I used ivory embossing enamel.

On the "Polaroid Frames", I stamped a pattern with some embossing powder and then rubbed some black ink very roughly on top.

For the title, "memories", part of the "Line Words - Goodtimes Borders", I used two coats of jade-teal embossing powder.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

Weeping Vine [m00648]
Polaroid Frames [m00391]
Line Words - Goodtimes Borders [db0096]

That's all for me today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and that it gave you some inspiration for your creations! I'll be back in a few weeks with more ideas to share with you!
