"Enjoy the Journey"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

Here is my second presentation for this month of August, a vintage layout in which
I use a lot of chipboard "steampunk".
The photo is of my grandson during our stay at Disneyland, in a room specially
designed to take pictures of heroes.

"Enjoy the Journey"

The chipboard used:

- Enjoy the Journey
- Corner Steampunk Set 5
- Steampunk Arrow Set 1
- Steampunk Gears Medium

The "steampunk" chipboards are one of my favorite chipboards.

All the chipboard was decorated in the same way. With a first coat of acrylic paint "Reven Black" then rubbed with antique waxes glossy "Fire Ruby" "Red Amber" and "Turquoise Satin" opal wax.
These are "Finnabair" products.

For the title "Enjoy the Journey", I delicately apply the "Turquoise Satin" wax with my finger
I love the result!

After placing the photo and paper embellishments, I tucked the chipboard
Steampunk Gears Medium around the photo stack.

The chipboard has the advantage of standing out from other embellishments
while adding texture.

I hope you liked my layout.

Good scrap to you!

Good Times - Laura Gilhuly

Hi! Laura here to share my next creation with you!

I love texture so I had a lot of fun creating this layout of our boys years ago when we and our friends made a demolition derby car!

2Crafty chipboard used:

After covering the paper with clear gesso I added some texture paste (dyed with Lindy's hot poker orange magicals) then used finnabair wax and rubbed on the stenciled surface to highlight it.

To alter the awesome chipboard I covered each piece with white gesso then added heavy texture paste and heat set.  I started spraying with different mists and used the wax to highlight.

For the title piece I used gesso, then texture paste, then coloured it with
an orange Gelato art crayon.

Thanks so much for stopping by

'May 2022' layout
by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach back with you sharing some more 2 Crafty inspo
This masculine layout featuring my boy and some really great 2 Crafty Chipboard

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Medium Steampunk gears
Steampunk arrow set 1
Fine word Monthly set
Small Steampunk gears
2022
Mini Fast forward arrows

Lets' start with the Steampunk arrow set 1
Where I have one sitting either side on my photo
I have just simply inked the both of the ink black..

Next up I had a couple of the steampunk gears in both medium
and small added two coats of gesso to these gears then added them
to my layout... I aslo did the same treatment to the Fine Monthly Word - May.

I decided that I wasn't going to add a title to this page
but instead added the month & year,
which I thought would work as my title 'May 2022'

While I was going though my stash I noticed
I still had a couple Mini Fast forward arrows
and I thought they would work well on this layout
so I inked these & the 2022 with the same pale blue..

I'm pretty Chuffed wit how this page turned out..
I hope I have inspired you in some way
Until next time, HAPPY crafting

"fantastic day"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

 Hello everyone,

Here is my second inspiration for this month of February, a layout inspired
by the theme of travel with a grunge style.
Using a photo of my grandson posing. I love it!

"fantastic day"

The 2CraftyChipbord used:

- Mini Title Stick Set 5
- 12 X 12 Clock Face Frames
- Stars Pack
- Geometric Arrows
- Steampunk Arrow Set 1
- Steampunk Gears Small
- Industrial Light Bulbs

I apply a layer of white gesso, I repeat myself systematically during each presentation,
but I prefer to mention it.

Mostly, I used Oxide Distress inks.

I started with the chipboard "Clock Face Frame", I love it so much.
To embellish it, I use the color "Frayed Burlap"

I then embellished the "Stars" with the colors "rustic wilderness" and "mustard seed,
by not applying myself, to give an aged effect.

On the chipboard "Steampunk arrow" I mixed the colors "faded jeans" and "rustic wilderness".
By combining different colors, I was able to superimpose the chipboards while leaving them visible.
I left the chipboards "Mini Title" in a natural way, they harmonize so well!

Playing with these beautiful chipboards is a real pleasure, they perfectly sublimate a layout.

Good scrap!
