'Wonderful'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share a
little vintage inspiration with you.

2Crafty products used:

This layout features a photo of my oldest daughter with her grandmother.
Quite a few years ago now.

I used one of the borders from the 'Lacey Border Set 1'.
As my papers are have quite a cool palette,
and to coordinate with the corrugated cardboard,
I left my chipboard raw for some added warmth.

I also used one of the 'Mini Scissor Set',
in among my layers and lace.

I also used the 'Ornate Screen',
in my background, and among my florals.
I really love the delicate patterns in this screen.

I really love the fine intricate detail of all of these pieces,
and love the vintage vibe that they give my layout.
I hope that you like what I have created.

Until next time!

Lisa

'Dreamer of Dreams' by Emma Zappone

Hello all you glorious 2Crafty friends!
Emma with you today and I have a 10x10" layout to share.
I have been loving the monochromatic feels lately when I create and so this page is full of pink shades.

I have used all sorts of chippy for this one, 5 different pieces are featured.....

ATC Scissors
Foliage set 9
Foliage set 10
Mini Checkerboard pieces
Irish Knot border

I have tucked and layered these pieces with my paper and flower elements.

I started with the Irish Knot border as I wanted something delicate but would go with a small amount of grunge.
I painted this with a pink acrylic and then applied pink emboss powder to give it a simple shine.

Both the Foliage pieces were painted first with acrylic, keeping it simple by painting it either white or pink and then applying the emboss powder over the top.
With the Foliage set 9 pieces I added a 2 tone effect with a chunky white emboss and the pink emboss.

The mini Checkerboard pieces were covered with a thick white chunky white emboss powder. I wanted these to be really white to stand out amongst all the pink layers and give more textural dimension.

This same white emboss was added to the pair of scissors, that I place delicately on top of the flower as one of the main focal features.

I hope this page inspires you a little today and I look forward to catching you all again in the new month.

Till then, Stay Crafty, Em xx

"cherish"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present my second inspiration for this month of November. An old fashioned couture decor.
With my granddaughter, we did a photo shoot and it made me want
to do this layout using these chipboards.

"cherish"

The 2Crafty chipboard used:

- Mini Words Set 2
- Flowers Doilies 3
- Embroidery Hoop Set Large
- Mini Scissors

I used several chipboards of 2Crafty Chipboard, these are beautiful embellishments
which always find an important place in the pages!

I first applied a layer of white gesso, then I used two shades of metallic wax "Bronze Age"
and "White Gold" which I rubbed with my fingers and at random.

To reduce the metallic effect I finished with a layer of natural opal wax.

I love slipping the chipboards in the middle of the papers.
They bring a lot of charm to the layouts.

A mini-title to bring a feeling to my layout. They are practical and too cute.

I hope I inspired you for a photo you took.

Thank you for your loyalty!

'Bessie' - by Emma Zappone

Hello 2Crafty friends!
Today I would like you to meet 'Bessie', a stunning 1920's French Cabaret performer.
Life hasn't been easy for Bessie, the stage has come at a cost.
But with all she may have lost, her passion and love of performing out ways the sadness she has felt.
Please put your hands together for 'Bessie'.....

Let's also focus on a few other star performers featured on this page....

ATC - Mini Scissors
Rose Set 1
Lattice Leaf Set
Messy Squares

For this page I wanted to go dark, a little smoky and create a vibe that reflected the image.
So I painted all the chipboard with black Gesso.

The Messy Square also had a light paint of Prussian Blue to set it off from the black. The lighting in the photo doesn't quite pick it up. Once dry I added a clear emboss powder to add a little more drama to the chippy. And the little pair of scissors were painted black with a blue wax to finish them off.

The lattice leaves are also in black with a Clear emboss.
I just love how these black elements set apart the layers.

The stunning Rose chippy was treated the same way as the Square, with that slight hint of blue shining through the embossing.

Bessie and I would like to thank you for stopping by and for all your continued support.
We hope we have inspired you a little.

Stay crafty, Em xx

'Relic - by Emma Zappone

Hello Everyone and welcome to my first share for the month of May.
This share is on the smaller scale of 8inx8in. I work mostly with 3x4 photo images, which work great on my usual 12x12 or A4 layouts. So this time I decided to create small and tight, but still using the 3x4 image. I love the result and also let's love how cool and quirky this image is too!

Now lets talk about the awesome chippy used.
I have chosen to play with some of the newer pieces which added an eclectic/steampunk
vintage vibe to the project.

Pieces used are......

Mini Scissors
Mini Decorative frame set 6
Corner Steampunk set 6

I wanted the chipboard to really sing around the image. I also wanted to use a new product and medium on the chipboard which was the new Ranger Foundry wax. And boy I was NOT disappointed!

I could layer the colours over each other onto the chipboard as you can see here on the Steampunk corner, drying and setting the wax as I went. And the chipboard loved it! It certainly started to sing.

I was hoping it wouldn't hide any of the details of the chipboard as I painted the wax over the pieces, as sometimes if your painting with acrylic this can happen.  But as I was setting the wax the beautiful grooves and details really came through. As you can see on this pair of Mini Scissors, shining in Gilded Gold.

Each piece of chipboard has been treated with this finish on this page. And I must say that I am loving it! It really added to that steampunk vintage look I had desired from the start of the project.

I hope that my 8x8 page has inspired you to create this week and maybe play with a new or different medium on your chipboard. This chipboard LOVES all mediums!!

See you all soon, stay crafty.
Em xx

'Create' layout
by Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone!
Rach with you today sharing some more 2 Crafty inspiration...
where I have created this fun, little girly, little grungy, mixed media page.
And have included some great 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces.

2 Crafty Chipboard:
NEW Mini Scissors set
ATC - words 1
Aztec feathers
Mini Fob watches
Indian feathers

Starting with the super cute Mini Fob watch,
where I have ever so lightly added a coat of gesso...
Make sure not to take away any detail to the watch.

Next up is the Aztec feather, that I have partly sitting
underneath my photo. Again using some gesso,
I have given this feather 2 coats.

Also given 2 coats of gesso to the Indian feathers,
and finished them off by blending a little bit of teal ink

Lastly! For my title 'Create' & the New Mini Scissor I have sitting next right next to it.
Going with the same process by adding 2 coats of gesso, then inking the 'Create'
with brown & the Mini Scissor, inking it lightly with an apricot.

Thanks for stopping by,
I hope you have a FABULOUS week
