'Getaway'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty lovers!
It's Lisa here to share some scrappy inspiration with you.
I have created a layout featuring my son.

'Getaway'

2Crafty products used:

'Aged Film Strip Set'
'Mini Checkerboard Bits'
'Steampunk Gears Medium'
'Getaway Title'

For this layout, I used a few of the 'Mini Checkerboard Bits',
which I embossed in a bright white finish.

I also used some 'Steampunk Gears Medium',
which I embossed in white and layered.

I also used one of the film strips from the
'Aged Film Strip Set',
which I left raw and layered
with an car from my papers, and some layered gears.

I also used the 'Getaway Title',
also embossed in white,
at the bottom of my page.

I really love the white and raw chipboard with these papers.
The white pops nicely against the neutral tones.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I will be back soon with some more scrappy goodness to share with you.

Until then

Lisa

Double Trouble - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
Laura back today to share another masculine layout I created of our sons!

2Crafty Products used:

Double Trouble
Tickets
View Finder
Moroccan Bits
6" Circle Revolution Frame
Aged Film Strip
Chevron Bits
Page Tab Set

I primed all the chipboard with clear gesso including the center section of the revolution frames.

I then covered the chipboard with a mix of lumberjack plaid, rustic wilderness, and scorched timber distress inks that I sprayed with water then allowed to dry naturally.  I inked the outer edges of each piece with the scorched timber ink also

I wanted to use the highlights of red from the awesome papers because Ty's bike he built was red and I love the highlights it provided and it made the title stand out.

Thanks for stopping by

"enjoy EVERY moment"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present you my second inspiration of this month of April.
A vintage layout inspired by a photo of a "Monster Truck" car show.

I selected chipboard elements such as gears to represent the robust mechanics of the vehicles and this chipboard that mimics a metal chain to add an industrial touch to the composition. The color palette includes earthy and metallic tones to enhance the retro vibe and recall the bold spirit of monster trucks.

"enjoy EVERY moment"

The chipboard used:

I don't use gesso.
I apply "antique linen" Distress ink on the "chain-lenghts" chipboard by rubbing it randomly.
My goal is to achieve an aged effect, reminiscent of an antique chain.

I proceed in the same way for the "aged-film-strip-set" chipboard by applying an additional color "spawn burlap". Then I add printed paper to bring contrast and fantasy to the whole.

Below my photo, I add some steampunk chipboard panels decorated in various colors. Next, I move on to adding the title "enjoy EVERY Moment." I start by applying Distress "faded jeans" ink to the letters of the title, creating a beautiful faded blue shade. To give the text more depth and shine, I then use embossing powder applied with a Distress embossing pen. I heat the powder with a heat gun until it melts, forming a vibrant raised pattern that catches the eye.

I hope this layout inspires you. I enjoyed creating it.

Happy creativity!

'Remember This'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some scrappy inspiration with you.

'Remember This'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used one of the 'Aged Film Strip'
that I have finished with a bright white embossing powder.

I have also used two of the flourishes from 'Flourish Set 4',
at the corner of my photo.

I then used one of the 'Mini Decorative Frame Set 8'
that I have used to back my flowers, on top of the flourishes.
Again I used a bright white embossing finish.

I have then used one of the 'Birdcage 1'
layered with a sentiment and a butterfly,
and I used the bird near my scroll and frame cluster.
Again these were finished in bright white.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to get crafty soon!

Until next time!

"believe"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present to you my second inspiration of this month of April.
A spring layout always using our fantastic chipboards including
these beautiful flowers "Magnolia Stems".

"believe"

The chipboards used:

- Christmas Mini-Word Set 2
- Magnolia Stems
- Aged Film Strip Set
- Flower Doilies
- Lacy Border Set 1

To begin, I apply a layer of white gesso to every chipboard.

To embellish the chipboards "Magnolia Stems" I chose ink "Oxide Distress" color "musard seed"
and "rustic wilderness".

I love the way these flowers were designed.
Their size and structure make them easy to ink, making it even easier to play
with colors and reveal details.

I proceed in the same way on the chipboard "Lacy Border".
For the chipboard "Aged Film Strip", I put a thin layer of ink "Oxide Distress"
color 'brushed corduroy'.
Using this close-up, I wanted to show you how chipboards fit perfectly with paper embellishments.

As for the chipboard "Flower Doilies" I apply a simple layer of white acrylic paint.
It really is one of my favorites. It has a striking resemblance to a lace doily.

In order not to waste the particle boards, I cut the "Aged Film Strip" particle boards.
One part for the top and another for the bottom on which I add my title.

I hope I gave you some inspiration with this layout.

See you soon for another inspiration!
